256 Transfer Student Report 2

'Allen? That kid was apparently handed over to the Boldenville family,' Petronella thought as she saw Allen coming along with Felicia.

'I last saw him in Barkaley Region, and at that time, he seemed to still look the same as he did back then. But now he's really changed a bit.'

...

The report of the second tested student, Allen.

From our observations, he doesn't have any particular talent. The amnis he launched were ordinary, even relatively weaker than the others.

"I am confident in my physique," Allen said.

And perhaps, because he spoke like that, Petronella ate his words raw, overtaken by his audacious statement, and would respond most unexpectedly and dramatically.

Petronella created an amnis with a flick of her wrist; a massive rock materialized above the boy's head, hanging menacingly in the air. Everyone suddenly gasped and held their breath, their eyes wide with anticipation, expecting the worst. However, the boy showed no signs of fear or doubt. With calm eyes, he reached up and effortlessly grasped the gigantic boulder. It seemed as though the world's weight did not affect him as he held it in his hands with remarkable ease and strength. With a powerful swing, he hurled the rock aside like a mere pebble, leaving the examiners speechless and their jaws dropping in astonishment.

I looked at Petronella, wondering what she would think if the boy couldn't do it? Or did Petronella know that he could?

"Is this enough?" asked Allen.

It should be, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary because, in the academy, many could lift a rock that big. Especially the demi-humans could more or less do it, even though they wouldn't carry them like pebbles.

"How about sword art? Do you have a sword style that you can show?"

If you want to become a vanguard, you should at least have a sword or martial art to show off. But,

"I can do my master's sword-soil, but I can't do any performing arts because I've never been taught such things."

"Hmph! I knew it! He's just a kid other-worlder. There's no way he'd have any advantage on the sword after arriving in this world!"

"Then let's try another test," said Petronella.

Petronella fired various amnis to prove his strength and endurance. Refusing to let them make contact with his body, he effortlessly caught each shot with his bare hands. This display showcased his remarkable resilience and highlighted his exceptional accuracy and keen eyesight. His precise hand-eye coordination left no doubt about his capabilities.

But still

Even though we've seen it all, despite our extensive experience and the surprises that he brought, we had numerous reservations about accepting him. We could still come up with a thousand reasons not to accept him. It was different from the situation with the girl who made us seriously consider admitting her to the academy, as her exceptional talent could certainly be further refined with our guidance.

Five out of the seven examiners did not pass him.

"Thank you very much for your time," said the boy, who didn't seem to care much about the result.

"Nonsense!" shouted the girl, Felicia. Who seemed to care more about this boy's results than the boy himself.

"Allen! You have to enter as a student!"

"Not necessarily; Rachel said I can still take care of you as a knight even if I'm not accepted."

"I want you to study with me too! I don't want an uneducated knight!"

"How selfish..." muttered Allen.

The boy again asked the examiner, "Can I still show something else to be accepted?"

"Huh?! Of course you can't! You've already failed; we won't-"

"Wait," Petronella interrupted. "What are you going to show?

"I'm going to show you my god's blessings."

"A god's blessing is a blessing; it won't show how talented you are!" the examiner shouted.

Petronella replied, "This kid is already talented enough to enter this academy as a vanguard and defender. If his god's blessing is extraordinary, he has the right to enter the academy."

"So what? Do I need to show it?" asked Allen.

"Go ahead, but your blessing at least, could defeat the sixth-floor monster. Or we won't pass you; that is acceptable, right? Professor Petronella."

"Whatever."

'I see… The sixth floor was a level for palladium. There is no way a student could do such a blessing. And since there is no monster target here, we can comment negatively on the blessing, and we are free to thwart the child no matter how strong and useful it may be.'

That kid nodded, and then he drew his sword.

and cut his right hand's vein.

"What are you doing?!"

The boy then said, "I'll hold back a bit, but... please be careful."

'Careful? What does this kid mean?' That was how I thought at the time.

"Spillage Mysanthrope," the blood that flowed from his vein turned thicker, both the liquid and the color, and then it suddenly seeped into every crevice of the surroundings.

"W-WHAT'S GOING ON?!"

"WHERE IS THIS?!"

The examiners, bewildered and fearful, struggled to comprehend the bizarre phenomenon unfolding before our eyes.

Yeah, it's literally all over the place.

You will be brought into a void world where almost nothing exists. There are no academy buildings, no floors, not even a sky.

Only that boy, the examiners, and our chair and table were carried inside. Our initial shock gave way to a wave of terror as we encountered the unknown depths surrounding us. Everyone rose from their chairs, instinctively trying to distance themselves from the spreading darkness. Stepping backward, we only deepened our sense of dread. Our feet sank into the unsettling, viscous sea of crimson that pooled around our ankles. The tension in the air was thick, almost suffocating, as we grappled with the overwhelming fear of the impending unknown.

Everything was happened so suddenly, and because of shock, some of us started to chant the amnis.

Suddenly, without any warning or respite, the liquid that had consumed everything unleashed its relentless assault. It slashed our bodies like sharp blades, tearing through our flesh and inflicting excruciating pain.

"Am I dead?" was what I thought at that moment.

I really felt death at that moment.

Until finally, that kid disabled his ability.

The details of the boy's ability were that he could use his blood to create a new area filled with mana. The distance at that time was approximately ten meters. According to the soldiers, they saw some sort of large sphere covering us from the outside. This meant that almost everything wasn't a hallucination; it was really his mana covering everything, creating a domain where he could do anything to his opponent.

The only hallucination we saw was probably that slashed blood. That boy from the beginning only locked us into his domain, but because his mana was so tense, we were made to think that he was attacking us.

While in there, I take a glance at the boy's face.

His red eyes stared at us with deep hatred, like a monster.

At that time, Without further comment, everyone passed him over.

"Allen, regarding your god's blessing, is there no way to activate it without hurting yourself? If possible, I want it to be your ace card in case the examiners won't accept you," Felicia asked after they finished sparring.

"I can't. Just like you, injury is a requirement for its use."

"But you don't have to cut a hole in your body to make it, right? How about just a little cut?"

"That also works too."

"Yeah I know, there is no way it's pos- EH?! SO THAT'S POSSIBLE?"

"I sometimes auto-activated it when my hand was injured. And in the past three years, I've often dabbled in testing some things about my god's blessing."

"Would you mind explaining it to me? It's not fair that you know all the details of my blessing while I don't."

Allen took the blade of his sword and cut his left hand deeply.

"First, what's needed is enough blood flow to turn it into mana,"

Blood flowed profusely from his cut veins.

"Second, when I want to activate it, I have to make myself overcome by negative emotions."

"Negative emotions?"

"Such as hatred, sadness, and the strongest is anger. All I have to do is force myself to remember the bad memories of the past, at which point the flowing blood turns even more intense and flows around."

Allen's flowing blood turned a deep red, close to black, and it spread all around, covering the floor, up to the ceiling.

"WHAAA!" Felicia was scared because she was trapped in darkness, plus her feet were soaked in Allen's blood, which scared her to death.

Moments later, the blood melted, disappearing into the earth.

"Wh-what was that?!" Felicia exclaimed, her body shaking in fear.

Allen was seen activating the healing amnis to close the wound on his hand. Then he approached Felicia and pulled her to her feet.

"I'll explain it in more detail."

Allen's blessing makes him able to spread his mana around, creating his own domain. But apparently, he could cover the surroundings with his blood. So, he created a new space inside his mana by closing off all access to the outside. To people outside, they would see a huge black ball.

Allen's blessing allowed him to manipulate the blood he expelled. So once the person was trapped inside his domain, he could freely attack them at any time.

The form of attack was not just weapons or thorns; it depended on what Allen imagined. And in some cases, Allen created his young self to stab his opponent directly.

The stronger the blessing, the higher the risk; it can happen the other way around. So if he only cut his veins, the power of his god's blessing would be weaker than when he stabbed his stomach.
