Chapter 164- Conversation

Dave looks at Arnold and Arnold is also scanning Dave. Dave didn't know what to say as it was awkward as it was their first time meeting. It was the same when he met his grandma Stella but grandma Stella is approachable and an easygoing person.

Arnold brings him to a room for them to talk in private. Arnold cleared his thoughts as he spoke, "I know that you already know who I am but I like to introduce myself."

"My name is Arnold Starlight and the Clean Leader of Starlight Clan. I am of course the father of your mother Aurora"

Dave looked at him and replied, "So you want me to call you grandpa? hehehe"

Dave could feel that Arnold didn't like him that much. Maybe because he was still his grandson so he was proud of him a while ago, but he cannot hide his dissatisfaction with him.

Arnold smiled and he was not offended by his words. He took out a chair and sat on it. "I know that you can feel that I didn't like you that much. It's not that you did anything bad to me but I just hate you when you were born and my daughter died."

"I loved my daughter so much that I did many things to keep her safe but she was still tricked by that fvcking Lucas. If not his strength is above mine, I already beat him into the ground"

Dave now realized why he acted this way. He now realized that he hates his father so he didn't even meet him when he was a child and his father always refuses to talk about his mother's family side. He smiled and took a chair to sit and replied, "So what? Like I care about your story or what, I just went here to know about the story of my mother not visiting you."

"Also don't say bad things about my father behind his back because even you are my grandpa, I will fight you to death hmpp"

Dave hated when someone said bad words about his father as he respected his father so much. He is not scared about fighting an immortal and he will not respect those who didn't treat him well. He still didn't acknowledge him as his relative.

Arnold shakes his head and laughs, "Hahaha, as expected of Lucas's son, you both have sharp tongues. I didn't want you to acknowledge me as your grandfather as I will honestly tell you that I still had some grudge against your father."

"I don't know but I cannot accept the fact that my daughter died that day, so I locked the whole clan to forget about it but when I see your face, you look like the male version of your mother if not for your red hair."

Dave never saw his mother's picture but many are saying that he looks like his mother so he was curious about what his mother looks like.

Arnold smiled and asked him, "You want to see her face? Well, when she died, all of her pictures and all those below the Immortal forgot how she looked."

Dave was stunned as he didn't expect something like that was possible. He thought that maybe he can change into a female version so he can see what his mother looks like.

Arnold and Dave talk like peers as if they are in the same generation, so Dave started to feel comfortable with him and he discovered that Arnold didn't care about how he answers him as he likes this way.

They talked for about an hour and Dave learned many things about the Starlight Clan and his mother. He learned that the wife of Arnold is just a mortal and cannot cultivate so she died because of old age.

Arnold thought that his daughter would be the same as his wife, but he didn't expect that it was the opposite. She showcases a talent that is unmatched by her peers and she was mature for her age.

Aurora is his last family so he cherished every moment he had with her so he was full of sadness when she died.

The Starlight Clan is growing at a rapid rate because of what Aurora left for the clan and she was also the reason he reached Immortal.
