Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 304 - Request

pαndα`noνɐ1--сoМ

There were more than three dozen Valkyries missing, and sizing up everyone, Shane could tell that almost everyone was heavily injured.

Miriam and Aisha, whom Shane thought to be enemies, were supporting each other, as they were barely able to stand on their own. Seeing their condition, Shane couldn't help but frown.

'Was it really that bad??'

Shane didn't even think about the fact that Miriam was able to hold Aisha without any problems which shouldn't be possible under normal circumstances due to Aisha's innate repulsion for most people.

If he were to know that Miriam and he himself were the only people that were able to touch Aisha without her feeling uncomfortable Shane would've been astonished.

However, right now, his mind was elsewhere.

Nevertheless, he was still able to grasp why they had approached him instead of the RadiantRing shelter that was more than a kilometer away from their current location.

From the looks of it, Aisha had told the others that he was the best shortcut to Igra, which was definitely the case.

As such, without saying anything, Shane manifested the portal towards the Hidden Paradise once again as he said.

"My faction has a recuperation and calming area. Just step through the portal and someone will help you guys.

Those with heavier injuries will be taken to the hospital or somewhere with professional help!"

Just as he completed his sentence, Shane's neck began to ache and he had to lay down on Umbra again.

He could only hear a faint murmur of "Thank you" from everyone and Shane heard the sound of retreating steps before the noises disappeared.

Turning his head, he noticed that everyone had left without considering that he might betray them and lead them to some kind of trap.

This caused him to smile faintly before he closed the portal to the Hidden Paradise once again.

After that, Shane began to think about the second mission he had received as a part of the Hidden-Universal mission, and he came to a few conclusions.

'Maybe I was wrong with my first assumption! There might be three foreign races behind the Overlord tide, which they had to utilize before all three races faced different problems!

If I can't deal with my opponents alone, I'll send out others… But with that in mind, the three foreign races must have looked down on the RadiantRing shelter, or more likely our race! That was extremely fortunate!'

If Shane's newly made assumption was correct, there had to be two more hostile foreign races in their shelter's surroundings, and even more neutral races that might face the three foreign races!

On the other hand, it could also be that the three foreign races created several Overlord beast tides in order to annihilate every single foreign race that was not among the three that made an alliance.

However, if that were to be the case, Shane could only re-evaluate the radiant mountain ring dimension's value!

Nobody would dare to invest millions if not billions of gold coins in order to simply destroy a few shelters just because a shelter was somewhat valuable!

There had to be something that is even more valuable than a large number of elemental crystal caves and other ores mankind had found.

Yet, in the end, Shane was not able to decide whether his assumption was correct or not. There was too little information he had!

'How should I procure more information, or even figure out who else caused the Overlord beast tide??'

There were multiple things he could do but the easiest would be to research PrimWeb.

This should be the easiest way to figure out the truth or at least a part of it!

'If my assumption is right, some races might share their experience about other Overlord beast tides, or a race other than the Destar race could brag about their achievements!'

This was not necessarily the case but definitely worth a try.

However, for now, Shane just wanted to rest, and the same applied to Umbra and Cosmo who had fought next to him the entire day.

As such, Umbra slithered further before he curled up with Shane laying on top of Umbra while Cosmo made himself comfortable in Shane's lap.

If someone were to see this, it would either be seen as an illusion or a bad joke.

A low Awakened stage spatial affinity Lesser Starlet Fox laid on a peak-Expert stage youth who laid on a 100-meter long peak-Awakened stage Snake that had the combat prowess that was almost at par with Superior peak-Awakened stage beasts.

**

Shane was not sure how much time had passed since he had closed his eyes, but both Umbra and Cosmo were already awake when he woke up.

The morning sun was shining brightly, but Shane could only feel his sore body when he stretched himself.

He was fully aware that his body had taken a huge toll because of the Overlord beast tide and the fact that Shane had to utilize every means to increase his combat prowess to the peak.

However, now that everything was over, Shane wanted to rest for a few days and start in-depth research about the radiant mountain ring dimension and which races there might be!

According to his understanding of the system, it wouldn't hand out precious rewards if a mission were to be relatively easy.

As such, Shane didn't let himself hope that he would be able to finish the second Hidden-Universal mission easily!

'Even if it will take a while to find out the responsible races for the Overlord beast tide and the corresponding evidence for the system to acknowledge my future finds, I'll have to complete the mission with the best possible result! I want to obtain as many supreme tickets as possible after all!'

With that in mind, Shane ordered Umbra to return back to the RadiantRing shelter.

At the same time, he accessed the system's holographic screen because he wanted to start his research, only to see that he had received multiple messages from his aunts and uncles.

This didn't astonish him because he had told them that he would join the beast tide in the radiant mountain ring dimension.

'I'll have to report everything I have found out so far!' Shane told himself before he began reading the first messages.

[Aisha told me that you survived and also that you helped her. Thank you… but how many Greater Astral towers do you have? I've heard about them and as you probably know, we'll have to rebuild the entire RadiantRing shelter!]

Even after squinting his eyes, Shane was not sure if he had read Uncle Lars' message correctly.

'He wants my Astral Artisans' Greater Astral towers?'

It was obvious that the RadiantRing shelter had to be rebuilt, and the future dangers were evident.

This meant that the shelter required a complete makeover. There had only been four Overlords and those were more than enough to destroy the whole shelter, only to barely stop before the Dimension Portal had been seized too!

Thinking about this, Shane got an idea!

[Give the Astral Artisans the right to rebuild the shelter and pay us fairly! We will build a total of three walls around the shelter and every single one will be the Tagradar wall! Furthermore, we can rebuild everything in an even better condition than it had been before!

The Astral Artisans won't be paying for the required raw materials either and you should be fully aware of the price a single Greater Astral tower has!]

There were multiple reasons for him to make this request, and it might be seen as a little bit too much by the government that was most likely thinking of rebuilding the RadiantRing shelter with their newly formed artisan organizations.

This was exactly the reason why Shane was not astonished by his Uncle's reply.

[Why don't you just sell the Greater Astral towers directly?]

Shane was unable to suppress his smile at that time, and he had already thought of a suitable message beforehand.

[We are talking about business here, aren't we? What is more beneficial for me? Rebuild a whole shelter while increasing the Astral Artisans' reputation or simply selling the Greater Astral towers?? Furthermore, many of my craftsmen have already been nurtured and I doubt that the government has been able to nurture lots of great talents in less than 100 days, right?]

While the government had created its artisan organization a few days after his birthday, it had been less than a 100 days old, while Talia and the others who were the first members of his Astral Artisans had already been nurtured for 10 months!! Even the newest craftsmen should be better nurtured and taught than the governments'!

As such, Shane was confident that the shelter the Astral Artisans would build would be better than the one which the government had in mind.

[If you send the design of the RadiantRing shelter your Astral Artisans have in mind to me within the next few days, the government will rethink your offer!]
