Seeing that the storekeeper was staring at them in shock, Mu Siyin could not help but chuckle. “Hey, could you get a few things for us?”

Mu Siyin picked up a few things that she would usually get and a bouquet of purple chrysanthemums. Shi Beiyu paid for the items and carried them in his arms. Then, he held Mu Siyin’s hand as they walked out of the store.

The storekeeper thought to himself as he watched the two figures walk out the door. ‘They looked like they came out from a painting. I wonder how gorgeous their child would be if they were to have one in the future.’

Shi Beiyu and Mu Siyin walked to the cemetery. When they came to the tombstone of Mu Siyin’s mother, they saw that there was already a bouquet of exquisite and delicate white orchids.

Mu Siyin was stunned.

Shi Beiyu was also surprised as it was not even 8 a.m. yet. He thought that they were early but did not expect that someone had come earlier than them.

Looking at the white orchids, Mu Siyin was in shock.

She has seen this orchid twice a few years ago. This would be the third time. However, she never saw a single person on her visits.

When Shi Beiyu saw Mu Siyin’s brows knitted together, he could not help but ask, “Have you seen it before?”

Shi Beiyu pondered for a moment before replying, “Your mother had a lot of friends before she passed away. It’s hard to know who came to visit her.”

Upon hearing that, Mu Siyin nodded lightly and bent over to place the purple chrysanthemum next to the orchid.

Mu Siyin did not stay at the cemetery for too long. After they paid a visit to her mother, she turned and left with Shi Beiyu.

While holding Mu Siyin’s hand, Shi Beiyu questioned her suddenly. “Do you come here alone every year?”

When Mu Siyin heard that, she smiled sarcastically. “Yeah, they never came.”

“When my grandfather found out about it, he went to the house and had a big fight with them. Since then, the Lu and Mu family have never been in contact.

“Since my mother is buried in the Mu family’s cemetery, it is natural that the Lu family doesn’t come to visit her.”

When Shi Beiyu heard that, he narrowed his eyes slightly and paused for a while before he stopped Mu Siyin.
