Mu Siyin could sense the boorishness and humiliation around her. However, she was not mad about it. Instead, she paused for a second before laughing it off. “Didn’t Director Wang start off as a fresh graduate too? Or should I say… didn’t all of you start off that way too? Were you born with such talents and accomplishments?”

The atmosphere grew hostile as the mood died off.

Director Wang laughed back. She looked at Mu Siyin before saying, “We all started off as fresh graduates too. But a fresh graduate should only work within their job scopes and not leap into something above them, such as this over million yuan deal.”

Mu Siyin snickered. “Did I say I want to be included? If you can talk, why can’t I ask?”

“You…”

“Moreover, tell me what the job scope of a fresh graduate is. Am I supposed to sit here every day and flip through all these luxurious atlases?”

Director Wang’s face darkened immediately. “What do you want to do then? Someone inexperienced like you should start from the basics!”

Mu Siyin stood up from her seat when she heard this. As she walked next to Director Wang’s side, she snickered. “It’s alarming how the design department has a director like you.”

Upon saying so, Mu Siyin walked away.

Since Mu Siyin had challenged Director Wang publicly, the latter was left fuming in rage.

Director Wang watched Mu Siyin walking out and said with a glare. “Mu Siyin! It’s working hours now! Where do you think you’re going?”

Without looking back, Mu Siyin said indifferently, “Do I need your approval to go to the loo?”

Director Wang immediately shut her mouth. She could only glare at Mu Siyin’s back as she gritted her teeth in hatred.

“There’s a meeting at 2!”

She hurled out the words before she stormed back into her office.

Mu Siyin left the office the moment working hours were over.

As she got out of the office, her eyes landed on the familiar silhouette of a car.

Mu Siyin had no choice but to stride towards it.

“Please get in, Miss Mu.”

Mu Siyin raised an eyebrow and asked casually, “When did you arrive, Handsome?”

The bodyguard froze when he heard that.

A cold sweat visibly broke out across his forehead as his voice stiffened. “I’ve just arrived with the Young Master.”

This time, it was Mu Siyin’s turn to freeze.

Shi Beiyu came along too?

She did not have a good feeling about this.

The car door swung open, revealing Shi Beiyu’s cold, handsome face.

“Get in!”

Mu Siyin stood rooted on the ground and blinked. Shi Beiyu seemed to be in an extremely bad mood.

Noticing that Mu Siyin had frozen, Shi Beiyu suppressed the fury in his heart as he pulled the woman into the car.

Was he mad because she did not go to the villa last night?

She thought about it, and it seemed like a valid reason.

As the thought crossed her mind, she lifted her hand and turned Shi Beiyu’s gorgeous face towards her.

The car did not have a partition, so the bodyguard inadvertently saw what happened. Needless to say, he was utterly shocked by Mu Siyin’s actions.
