This piece of news even hit the capital like a storm back then. Everyone said that it was a pity for someone like Father Shi to die from sickness at such a young age. After all, he was from such a good family background.

However, Shi Beiyu was now saying that his father had died from an accident instead!

A daring thought popped up in her head instantly.

She looked at Shi Beiyu in shock as she poured out her thoughts. “Was your father involved in my sister’s accident?”

Although Shi Beiyu was taken aback by what Mu Siyin had said, he bounced back immediately and nodded his head firmly. “You’re right.”

Mu Siyin was stunned by this revelation.

After all, she did not know about the details of her sister’s death. She did not even know who the other party was. All she knew was that her elder sister had died in a car accident.

However, Shi Beiyu revealed that his father was the other party.

This was too shocking.

Shi Beiyu’s eyes darkened as he looked at her. Seeing that she had paused, he nodded his head with a complicated look on his face. “That’s why I called my mother an extremist. She has not accepted my father’s death even until now.”

Upon hearing this, the crease on Mu Siyin’s head deepened. “How could she do that to me?”

Mother Shi’s allegations really made Mu Siyin think that the Mu family had wronged the Shi family. Now that the truth came to light, she realized that the Mu family should not have been blamed at all.
