"Good," Huo Siqian said nonchalantly; he couldn't care less about the livelihood of that pawn. He had no sympathy for her, despite her sudden change of heart and insistence on helping him one last time.

Even if Qin Chu didn't kill her off, he wouldn't have kept her around. After all, he would never keep anyone that dared to harm Huo Mian.

"Qin Chu killed Zhang Manlin by shooting her."

A man with a black mask and baseball hat was choking Huo Yanyan's neck with a rope. Her mouth was wide open, but no sound came out. Her eyes rolled back, revealing all the whites of her eyes as she struggled for air.

"Mommy!!!" Tiantian screamed and began crying.

"Stop!" Shen Mingxi bolted forward. Seeing the situation, the man immediately turned and jumped out of the window. Seeing his build and physique, he looked like a professional hitman.

Huo Yanyan fell to the floor after the man had let go of her.

"Yanyan!" Shen Mingxi lifted Huo Yanyan, his face completely pale.

"Mommy… don't die!" Tiantian knelt beside Huo Yanyan and cried.
