To her pleasant surprise, however, Qin Chu brought her a midnight snack! His gesture made her melt with warm happiness.

"I was, actually," Qin Chu chuckled.

"Who enlightened you? Tell me!" Huo Mian demanded, putting her arms around Qin Chu's neck.
