My Space-Time System

196 Landslide victory.

The rules were quite simple but it was hard at the same time. Just like professor Gibson said, arcane spells weren't part of them yet and it would surely feel weird when being unable to use their elements.

"Practice ground 5, Blake vs Vlad." Professor Gibson announced.

This was pleasant news for both the nobles and commoners. It was a chance for the nobles to gauge his power level and if he ends up failing, it was a chance to mock him.

As for the commoners, most of them didn't have malicious intentions against Blake, they always watched his match in other to learn new things.

Also, watching Blake trash a lot of nobles gave them a sense of satisfaction, earning him quite a lot of fan base among the commoners which he had no idea of.

'Time to show who is boss.' Vlad couldn't help but grin from ear to ear when he heard the announcement.

He was one of those that thought Blake was being protected by Luciano, but now the rules were supposedly in his favor, he would make it clear to the entire school.

Vlad couldn't be considered as one of the brightest, but his line of thought wasn't that wrong, but what he failed to see was that Blake wasn't your average student.

He had 3 elements and a system which wasn't only very rare in the school, but all around Infinite realm as a whole. These were factors that no one would think of unless told, making Blake a box of surprises.

'This should be an easy 700 points.' Blake had a grin similar to that of Vlad when he heard who his opponent was.

"Begin!." Professor Gibson announced.

"Let's end this quickly." Blake encased his hands and feet with mana before dashing towards Vlad

When he was 5 meters from Vlad, he jumped into the air and performed 2 spinning kicks that sent blades of mana hauling at Vlad.

'Shit!' Seeing how fast and powerful the mana blades were, Vlad joined his hands together and formed a barrier.

Ding! Ding!

Vlad was forced 3 steps back, but he soon rolled out of Blake's way, dodging the incoming flying kick.

'Seems I have gotten too used to using lightning reinforcement to boost my speed.' Blake thought as he continued his attacks.

He let out 2 mana blades and quickly closed in on the gap.

'How is this possible? He must be cheating!' Vlad couldn't help but think as he was forced to block another set of mana blades that forced him to retreat.

Things were looking very bad for him. His hands were turning numb and he wasn't getting any breathing space, but there was no time to think of that because Blake was alright in front of him.

Blake threw a feint punch at Vlad who hurriedly attempted to block leaving his body open.

"Gotcha!" A grin appeared on Blake's face as he started off with a blow to the abdomen, then with an uppercut, before conjuring a mana wall behind Vlad and chaining his attacks.

With his mana enhanced attacks, Blake was dealing a lot of damage than normal people did and Vlad couldn't keep taking more of them.

'I have to do something.' Vlad gritted his teeth in pain as he tried conjuring a mana dome around him, but that was when a massive shockwave burst of mana from Blake, sent him flying out of the boundary.

"Winner Blake."

"What the hell?!' Vlad who had just recovered from the dizziness caused by the impact was shocked and confused by what had happened.

After the blue ethereal light of mana burst out of Blake's body, he made a useless attempt to block with his hands, but he saw himself outside the ring.

"He definitely cheated, his attacks were too powerful to be normal. He must be using a mana control enhancing equipment." Vlad protested to Professor Gibson.

"I noticed it, his attacks packed more power than its meant to be."

"There is no way someone should be able to do that without equipment."

At first, the spectators didn't think much about it because Blake was the rank 1 and he was meant to be stronger than others. It was when Vlad complained that they began noticing it.

"I too thought the same thing, but I checked Blake right from his first move to the last everything was normal. It's just that his mana control is more than 2 times greater than that of everyone in this class." The entire class was shocked by professor Gibson's explanation.

Although he was their professor and they saw no reason for him to lie, many didn't want to believe it, but that was when they started connecting the dots.

They began realizing why Blake has been doing so well in classes like array mastery and arcane magic.

'Seems I have been underestimating my mana control.' Blake thought as he walked out of the practice ground ignoring the stares from his fellow classmates.

He had used the shockwave in order to stun Vlad and continue the combo, but he didn't expect it to completely blow him away.

[I too wasn't expecting that. This was meant to be a one-sided beating, but that move turned it into a landslide.] The system said.

'That means one more thing added to my list of after-class activities.' Blake let out a helpless sigh. Somedays ago he was complaining about having nothing to do but now, the reverse was the case.

After the class, Blake, his friends and Camila went to grab something to eat, but they were all looking with weird looks on their faces.

"I am trying to enjoy my steak, but I can't do that with you all looking at me like that." Feeling uncomfortable, Blake broke the silence at the table.

Blake watched as they looked at themselves for some time before returning to their food.

"Is there something I am missing?" Blake asked Luciano who facepalmed and shook his head on seeing their reaction.

"They want so you could teach or coach them on some things." Luciano said.
