My Idle Gaming System

The forces of Blessed moving from the Dark Continent and advancing into the Light Continent was something that only shook the hearts of commoners, but those truly knowledgeable knew that for them to move this fast, all of this had to have been in motion for a long time as the event that occurred the day prior...was just the match that sparked the fire.

The Assassination of the 5th Ethereal Princess and subsequently poor response from the Imperial Capital of the Light Continent allowed the generals and powerful beings behind the ruling force of the Dark Contient to confirm the truth they had found out some time ago- the fact that the Ethereal Emperor truly was no more!

Thus, after confirmation, the plans they had in motion all this time were initiated as the force of the Dark Continent vowed to expand its influence by taking over the nearby cities of the Light Continent.

The purpose of expanding their rule and extending it to nearby cities was of course for the same reason that was the core of the war about to be waged- the Dimensional Rifts!

If one controlled Dimensional Rifts, they controlled the access for an insurmountable amount of wealth and power.

For the higher level Rifts that were occupied by the true nobility and beings of power in the Ethereal Realm, one had to even pay a prince to enter and dive into a Rift as others were not even allowing access to common Blessed!

Controlling the Rifts...meant controlling the flow of power.

So the forces of the Dark Continent moved to bring more Dimensional Rifts under their control as so far, the forces could be seen moving towards 3 Cities within the Light Continent.

They were cities that were just past the border between the two Continents, cities that mainly held Dimensional Rifts up to the SILVER Level!

It was the Bright City, Moset City, and lastly the area that sparked the confirmation for this whole war...Academy City!

The forces of the Dark Continent chose these 3 cities strategically as they were where most of the young aspiring Blessed started off from before they delved deeper into the Light Continent where even more wondrous Dimensional Rifts were located.

The three Continents of the Ethereal Realm were large clusters of land filled with City-States such as Academy City, long roads and expansive forests existing between the cities for commoners to move across.

The Royals and those with power could afford huge Vessels that made their journeys easier, with the Light Continent having much richer cities and prospered much more than the Dark and Wild Continents under the Rule of the Ethereal Emperor!

The Dark Continent aimed for the Rifts and Prosperity of the Light Continent that had lost its strongest defender, its commanders each moving with their own goals but joined together by a singular aim under the banner of one being- a being that many would come to know in the future as his name spread, the Dark King!

As these events were unfolding, Noah was traversing the Tower of Champions as he stepped on the 15th floor while being surrounded by spectacular Units.

A fearsome Greenplains Yeti and Fiery Chimera at the forefront, an Earth Golem behind them protecting the figures of the support units- a swaying Sunflower and a bright Light Wisp that glowed with a glimmering white light!

This party was currently facing the fearsome might of 2 BRONZE Dimensional Rift Bosses, Noah questioning the difficulty of this Tower as it just jumped from 1 BRONZE Boss on the 10th floor to 2 on the 15th.

If he hadn't fused another BRONZE Beast just now, it would have been a deadly battle as he might have even lost a few pets!

BOOOM!

A shocking explosion resounded out as the Yeti and Fiery Chimera worked in conjunction, one releasing a [Mountainous Strike] as the other released a [Fatal Sting].

Their bodies were just as vibrant and full of power compared to the two Bosses they faced, one being a giant Worm and the other a Desert Scorpion.

Noah's units had the support skills of the Light Wisp such as [Strength Enhancement] and [Healing Aura], the two offensive units becoming even bulkier as a unique white light surrounded them!

Whenever they were hurt, their injuries would very quickly heal as their enemies only became weaker and weaker.

Noah was occasionally moving in and out to deal deadly strikes with his Magma Sword himself as he used the Earth Golem to defend if any Strike came towards him.

But with this tremendous teamwork of highly Offensive and Support Units, the battle finished in a stellar style as Noah's party came out of it with no injuries!

BOOM! BOOM!

The bodies of two BRONZE Dimensional Beasts collapsed as the party was warped away, the rewards of their hard battle popping up in front of Noah's eyes.

Looking over the rewards, Noah couldn't help but release a gasp at how luxurious they were!

He was now 25 Shards away from a Bronze Unit, and he had finally gotten his hands on BRONZE Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals for him to upgrade the strength of the Yeti and Fiery Chimera.

But most of all...was a skill book!

Rare than anything you could come across, an item that infused one with knowledge of how to guide the energy of their Ranks to influence the elements in their surroundings in order to bring forth deadly results.

Noah wasted no time as he took the BRONZE Skill Book out of his Inventory, watching as it disappeared the moment he willed to learn it, a brand new Skill Appearing in his stat panel!
