My Idle Gaming System

Yet another Unit appeared in front of Noah, this one sadly not the damage dealer he wanted but for the enemy in front of them, it would do!

"Go!"

Noah gave the command for the Earth Golem to aid the Yeti, this creature turning into rolling stones that made their way over to the Skeleton King.

The rolling stones appeared beneath the 2 battling beasts as they coalesced around the feet of the Skeleton King, holding this beast in place as the stones took a pristine Unbreakable appearance!

[Pristine Stone Armor] was cast as the Earth Golem used the unique features of its body to hold the Bronze Beast hostage for a few seconds.

These few seconds...were all the Yeti needed as its large furred hands glimmered with a green and white light.

OOOOH!

[Frozen Charge] and [Mountainous Strike] were cast at the same time as the figure of the Yeti barreled towards the Skeleton King like a bullet train, smashing its crowned head with its huge furred hands as a horrific Crack could be heard.

BOOOM!

With the inclusion of another Unit holding it down, the Skeleton King didn't last long as within the next minute, its bones lost all the strength holding it together as it crumbled to the ground.

"Haha!"

Noah was laughing gleefully in the distance as he saw the tired Units defeating a Bronze Rift Boss, all of their bodies flashing with light as they were teleported back to the waiting area!

The stellar rewards of the 10 floor appeared in front of his eyes.

[Rewards for clearing the 10th Floor] :: …[+1 Bronze Rank Equipment], [+25 Random Bronze Rank Unit Shards], [+25 Bronze Rank Cores],[+500 Bronze Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals][+5 Health Potions], [+5 Mana Potions]

Noah located the rewards in his inventory, his eyes honing in on the 25 Bronze Rank Cores!

Blessed would need to go through a tiresome process of getting a Licence and forming a huge team to descend down Rifts before they could put their lives on the lines to obtain such Cores and break through the shackles of IRON, yet Noah got them as the reward for the 10th floor of the Tower of Champions.

His shining eyes commanded some of the Cores from the Inventory and into his hands as he sat down while holding them close.

They looked like shimmering Crystals that shone with the bronze color, Noah starting to absorb them right away as he attacked the shackles of IRON!

His body was already filled to the brim as he was at the Peak of this stage, needing a push from a higher level core to break through, and on his absorption of the 5th Bronze Core...he did!

RUMBLE!

Energy fluctuations wildly swirled around him as the color he gave off changed from the gray IRON to the stellar color of BRONZE.

His dark hair flew around wildly as his blue eyes shone with lights, lifting his hands as he saw the distinct bronze color while feeling the intense strength that ran throughout his body!

He felt like he was multiple times stronger than before as he clenched his fists, his eyes showing an intense light of determination.

He was able to go from IRON to BRONZE just a matter of days after obtaining the Idle Gaming System...such a thought made him extremely proud as it reinforced his belief that he could possibly rise from mediocrity and into the Peak of strength!

Within this Ethereal Realm, he wouldn't have to stay at the very bottom rungs of power!

'Good!'

He rose up as he stared at the 3 Units that stood a few feet away waiting for orders.

"Return."

SHAA!

They turned into streaks of light as three of the 5 circles next to his name contained the images of a Yeti, Sunflower, and a Golem simply waiting for his call.

Even though his body felt vibrant and full of energy after breaking through into the BRONZE Rank, he still felt a sense of exhaustion as he hadn't slept the entire night as he spent it defeating skeletons.

He glanced at the 11th floor of the Tower and onwards, seeing their bountiful rewards as he knew they would be just as hard to clear...but he was up for the challenge!

'Leave the Tower of Champions.'

He thought of the command as his body flashed with light, returned to his room as he saw darkness still pervaded, but the hours of the morning weren't too far away.

'I truly put in some effort today…'

He thought of how hard he worked as his tout body hit the bed, knowing he wouldn't get much sleep before the sun rose. It seemed like he would have to spend his day relaxing on a certain green plains behind the Blessed Academy to make up for lost sleep today!

Noah's schedule was somewhat set after the past few days as he established a routine that was gradually changing.

He planned to climb the Tower mostly at night as he would relax or descend into Rifts during the day, and he followed this schedule when morning came as he appeared in the green plains behind the Blessed Academy.

Feeling the rays of sunlight and the verdant greenery around him made him feel extremely at peace, dragging his tired body onto the tall soft grass as he returned to his Idling time.

At this period of time, neither Noah nor any of the prominent Blessed around the city knew that shocking events were about to come, each of them going about their lives with fervor.

During the period of time where everything seemed to be going right...this was when they took an unexpected turn for the worse as in the blanket of peace and prosperity, chaos was coming for Academy City!
