The longer the fortune manifestation shone its light on Rezen, the fainter its existence become. In time, it would definitely be unable to support its existence and the fortune aura would be for Rezen to utilize

However, every second that passed by, the closer Rezen was to insanity. Countless voice of murmurs rang inside his head and these voices were akin to knives laced with poison stabbing Rezen

It was the kind of pain that was hard to understand and visualize and only those that experienced it would realize just how painful it was

It was an inhuman kind of pain and Rezen was on the brink of losing himself when from his stomach, a burst of green light spread and covered him from head to toe

The green light causes the pain to subside to the point that it was finally endurable and Rezen coughed while trying to catch his breath

He was still kneeling, his whole body was trembling and he felt like he would vomit everything he has inside of him

Fortunately, the fortune manifestation is not that strong and soon, its physical body became almost completely transparent before it bursts into a colorful fog

The fog contain all the colors of a rainbow and the fog was only formless for a moment before it gathered at a single point, forming what looks like a seed

After enduring the fortune manifestation's retaliation, the space of white started to crack as if it was unable to maintain its existence anymore

One crack after another appeared to the point that even Rezen's physical body on this space cracked as if he was a piece of glass

Soon, the white space, the [Zone or Blasphemy] shattered and Rezen's mind returned to reality

"Cough! Cough! Cough!" After Rezen's spirit returned to his physical body in the Bellmond Valley, his knees immediately gave out

He started coughing hard and he was not able to stop the overflow of saliva in his mouth

The thing he just experienced was horrible beyond words. He would rather resist the fortune manifestation's retaliation by fighting it with magic and not enduring it like that

Straight and direct combat as with enough strength, you could overpower your opponent. But what just happened is a test on Rezen's willpower and he only survived thanks to the farm

It took some time before Rezen recovered and he wiped the cold sweat on his forehead to stare at the floating seed that contained all the colors of a rainbow

"So this is the Fortune Seed..." Rezen muttered as he controlled the seed and had it enter his elixir field

The Fortune Seed contained all the fortune aura of the flower bud. While on the outside, the flower bud still looks the same as before, it is not a heavens' blessed anymore

It had the chance to bloom into a rare treasure but now that its fortune aura was stolen, the chances of that happening are very low

"This should be a Treasure Flower. Once it bloomed, it would grow a great treasure. There are naturally occurring magic wands that nature itself created. These wands are rare and often have useful abilities and Treasure Flower is one of the rare Spirit Plants that grew such items"

"Too bad that with my strength as a 1st cycle Junior Mage, even if it blossomed into a powerful treasure, it might take me a long time before I could use it. It was better to plunder its fortune aura"

Rezen sighed at this. Who wouldn't want to gain a rare treasure?

This seed is still a 'raw' and 'unprocessed material' that needed to be processed by the farm

Rezen chose the middle area of the farm as he walked to it using his soul. He dug a small hole and placed the Fortune Seed in the hole before covering it with the farm's soil

As soon as he does that, the other Spirit Plants that he grew on his farm suddenly wilted as if someone or something just sucked their lifeforce

Since those Spirit Plants could easily be grown by Rezen as they are not rare and just the ingredients to make mana elixir, he didn't feel any pain after seeing what happened

The growth of the fortune seed is still more important and after it swallowed the life force of the nearby plants, it started to bud

"Ivy, how long would it take for the fortune seed to fully mature and be available for utilization?" Rezen asked and Ivy loyally answered

"Twelve hours and in these hours, no other plant could grow inside the farm, Master"

At that, Rezen nodded his head. After twelve hours, Rezen would still be in the Bellmond Valley and he can use the fortune aura to benefit himself

Since there was no need for Rezen to grow other Spirit plants in the meantime, it was no problem for him to give these twelve hours to the fortune seed to bear its fruit. And Rezen planned on using his time to gather other Spirit Plants from the Bellmond Valley

After Rezen's mind returned to his physical body, he stared at the spatial pouch lent to him

"I should store the resources I found inside my elixir field and only take them out when I'm near the entrance. Even if anyone tried to rob me of my resources, they would only discover the dummies that I placed inside my spatial pouch"

It was great that when Rezen was robbed, he only collected several pieces of Bellmond Flowers

In this valley, all the resources are within the Junior Rank. It might have a high mana level but resources at Senior and Great Rank takes a longer time to grow

Bellmond Valley is a resource point that was regularly exploited and higher-ranking treasures don't have the chance to grow

While resources at the Senior and Great Rank are more precious, it's not like the city could just focus on them

Mages at that level are fewer in number while there are uncountable mages at the Junior Rank

If the city doesn't have enough resources for the Junior Mages, no Senior and Great Mages might ever appear again

As such, while a place could grow resources at the Senior and Great Rank, it doesn't necessarily mean that they have them due to the time needed to grow such resources

But it's because the Bellmond Valley only has Junior Rank resources that someone as weak as Rezen was given the forager job

Being a forager could make a person rich overnight if they found the right kind of treasure, this was especially so for the higher-ranking resource points. As such, how could the city management easily give a forager spot to anyone?

Not to mention, there are resources that have to be collected using special means that someone like Rezen cannot do!

However, in the meantime, Rezen's current job is already enough for him as he casually strolled inside the valley

Ivy was a great help to him as it was easy to find and identify Spirit Plants with its help

Rezen doesn't have to waste time manually searching for these resources as Ivy could automatically do it
