Zhao Yue was not a nobly-born lady, but the Zhao Family were not up to conspiracies and she was always very straightforward.

She sank her face. "Come with me."

Having said this, they headed towards Zheng Chenyi's room.

When Zheng Chenyi got ranked with the title, she asked Zheng Chenyi to move to this yard, which was the biggest one at the mansion, whilst she moved to the back yard. Duke North should live in the biggest yard, just as the old Duke North did.

In the yard, there was a pine tree which was quite old.

The pine tree was already covered by snow in June.

It was very cold in the yard.

Duke North Mansion was not that large, and Chenyi liked quiet. However, she had thought that when she had the chance, like when Chenyi was able to take over more tasks and earn more money, she was going to make Duke North Mansion look more luxurious.

She was thinking as she was walking.

However, Lin Qin stopped her as they reached the door. He said respectfully yet embarrassedly, "Madame Duke North, Duke North says that no one is to be allowed to go inside to disturb him."

Madame Duke North glanced at Lin Qin.

She did not like him.

Chenyi had had this guard for years, and this guard was so annoying. This guard would ruin Chenyi's relationship with others.

Chenyi was driving others away, not her.

She was Chenyi's mother, and Chenyi always respected her and she would always be allowed in.

She snorted.

She then pushed him away and walked into the room.

It was very warm inside the room, which she was very satisfied with.

Zheng Chenyi was leaning against the headboard of the bed, totally captivated by a book.

"Ms. Zhao, come here." She sounded displeased. "I am here with Chenyi, and you. Dare you repeat what you just said to me a while ago?"
