As she put down the phone, she heard the sound of the living room door open and immediately picked up her chopsticks pretending to eat. Her ears flushed under her soaking wet hair.

Fu Huai’an pulled out the chair on her right and sat down comfortably, placing his cigarette box, lighter, and phone on the table.

Unlike in the bathroom, he wore a navy blue pair of leisure pants with a black V-collar top, and his defined strong side profile looked clean and sharp.

Lin Nuan didn’t say anything throughout the whole meal—as if he wasn’t the man that just created a thunderstorm strong enough to make the air sizzle with her on the bed just before.

“Do you like roses?” Fu Huai’an suddenly asked.

She stopped chewing and looked up into his dark, deep eyes through the smoke he exhaled.

So Tang Zheng did tell him about Liu Mingchen sending her flowers at the entrance of the Maple Leaf Garden.
