Her leg knocked into the sofa and her whole body fell into a patch of softness.

Before Lin Nuan could stand up, Fu Huai’an was already walking towards her, cornering her as he removed the cigarette and trapped her between his arms and the sofa. White smoke seeped through between his lips, blurring his face except for his deep gaze.

The man’s scent once again engulfed Lin Nuan…

As though she was in a desperate position, Lin Nuan’s back pressed against the sofa as her gaze fell onto Fu Huai’an’s thin lips; her face burned as she looked down to avoid Fu Huai’an’s Adam’s apple… But her gaze landed on Fu Huai’an’s belt buckle, making her face even redder.

She panicked and turned her head, but felt that the move was too cowardly.

Hearing Fu Huai’an’s throaty chuckle and his hot breaths across her forehead, Lin Nuan bit her lips and acted seriously as she raised her head and met Fu Huai’an’s gaze, despite her panicking heart.

“Mr. Fu, treating a woman like this in the middle of the night… Are you not afraid that your girlfriend will be upset?”

Lin Nuan tried her best to control her voice to avoid letting it tremble, her heart thundering against her chest.

Hearing Lin Nuan’s clear voice, Fu Huai’an leaned towards her even further… Lin Nuan was startled and moved back, her palms pressing against Fu Huai’an’s broad chest.

Fu Huai’an’s Adam’s apple bobbed and he spoke in his deep voice, “You didn’t agree, so what girlfriend do I have?”

“Isn’t Su Manman your girlfriend?” Lin Nuan asked in retaliation, her voice carrying anger.

She hated the kind of man who would lie to other women that they were single behind their girlfriends’ back. They were utterly despicable….

Just like Bai Xiaonian’s then-boyfriend, Lu Jinbei, who always pretended he was single to hook up with other ladies behind Bai Xiaonian’s back, that kind of man was way worse than the women who got together with guys knowing they were already taken!

Hearing Fu Huai’an’s laugh, Lin Nuan’s neck turned red too and she said, “Mr. Fu, please excuse me.”

She pushed Fu Huai’an away, but he held onto her thin wrists instead.

“Let go…” Lin Nuan struggled.

Remembering that day when her hands were held above her, even though she knew that Fu Huai’an could overpower her, Lin Nuan still didn’t want to be so physically close with him.

Lin Nuan’s panicked manner was completely exposed in front of Fu Huai’an and he asked, “Are you jealous?”

Lin Nuan struggled to break free but Fu Huai’an held on tighter.

His strong hands pulled Lin Nuan in front of him and his slightly rough thumb rubbed against Lin Nuan’s pretty wrist, his deep voice saying, “If you agree to be my girlfriend, I’ll explain…”

Fu Huai’an’s thin lips brushed against Lin Nuan’s ear, his hot breaths and sexy voice entering her ears, making her mind blank for a moment as though all of her energy was drained. Goosebumps rose on her body and she glared at the man beside her in anger and shame.

He could always find Lin Nuan’s weaknesses with such ease.

The redness of her ears was a beautiful color that gradually spread downwards… Lin Nuan’s fair skin was dyed crimson, making Fu Huai’an unable to take his hands off of her.

The phone in his pocket vibrated and Fu Huai’an took it out, picking up the call with furrowed brows after glancing at the caller ID.

Lin Nuan wanted to take the opportunity to escape, but Fu Huai’an’s cigarette-wielding hand locked her wrist in place and pressed her down. She angrily grabbed onto Fu Huai’an’s arm and bit down on his wrist.
