Four luxurious cars of different colours from different brands drive straight in from the huge metal gates of the Fang Mansion to the inner parking lot.

In one of the familiar cars that drove into the parking lot meant for onto the members of the Fang Family, sat Mr. Fang and Zhang Liling.

The former had a surprised expression on his face as his gaze darted across the windows to see the different cars lined up in his line of sight.

"Mr. Fang, your grandmother's party is not a small one, and I'm sure that all the elites of City S are in attendance." Zhang Liling said as she retracted her gaze from the window to glance at him.

With that glint of surprise in his eyes, he turned to look at her.

His lips moved several times, but at the end, it couldn't bring forth any word. He just gave up and turned his gaze ahead with his brows furrowing.

He was still surprised and a little annoyed at neglecting one fact. And that was the possibility of this party being a huge turn up.

He had thought that with his grandmother's preference, she would go on to keep celebrate her new age in a low key, but it looks like he his thoughts had been low-leveled.

He had forgotten to think out if the box.

Now, he was thinking of how he was going to deal with the different scents from several people in that room.

From the parking lot, the both could hear the traditional music playing, but Zhang Liling was the only that got a little excited.

Suddenly thinking about something as their car came to a stop, she turned to look at him.

"Mr. Fang," she called out, earning his full attention almost immediately.

"I didn't think about it, but what if the Zhang family is here?" She asked.

She looked a little unsure of how to face her father if was surely in attendance.

She had still wanted to remain quiet about her presence and arrival in the City for a few days before suddenly shocking all of them, but it looks like today's party did not leave her much chances for her initial plans.

"Are you afraid? I thought there was nothing in this world you were afraid of?" Fang Bingwen teased as the corner of his lip rose up in a smirk.

Shaking her head, she quickly refuted his claims. "No I'm not afraid. I just wanted to give myself a little time before suddenly showing up in their line of sight, shocking them to their bones. But it looks like this is not bad either. Walking in with you is enough of a grand entrance." Zhang Liling said with a smile that reached her eyes.

What more eye-catching scene was better than an entry with the most eligible bachelor in the City?

She got all she ever wanted in one night.

"Show off." Mr. Fang scoffed.

At this point, the men in blacksuits with white earpieces surrounding the inner parking lot, quickly came over to open the backdoors of the car.

At the same time Zhang Liling and Mr. Fang were stepping out of the car, Bolin and Chuanli who came in their cars, stepped out as well with their gifts in hands before meeting them halfway.

The gifts Zhang Liling came with was much, so Mr. Fang had to help her hold some of the bags.

"If I had left you, you would have bought the entire store," He complained as he took some of the bags from her.

Looking down at her hands, she retorted. "I couldn't help it. At that point I only wanted to buy everything that looked good for your family elders."

"It's so hard picking a gift from several options." She muttered under her breath.

Smiling from ear to ear, Chuanli approached both of them with Bolin tailing behind him.

"Wow! It looks like Miss Zhang wants to spoil the entire Fang Family with gifts." He said as he came to stand beside Fang Bingwen.

Glancing at her hands, she shifted he rgaze back to him. "If this bribe is not enough for me to be accepted into the family, I would be more than happy." She said without batting an eye.

"Wow!" Chuanli exclaimed in surprise as his eyes widened with a hint of mischief in them.

Bolin shook his head with the corners of his lips curling up. Zhang Liling would never cease to change.

On the other hand, Mr. Fang did not look to be in a good mood after her statement.

His gaze narrowed at her as he said, "Am I that cheap in your eyes?"

He seems to have a problem with his family accepting her because if the number of gifts she was bringing to the.

Fang Bingwen held himself in high regard and refused for his worth to be summarised just like that.

A soft chuckle escaped from Zhang Liling's lips as she watched the frown on his face.

"I didn't say that, why do you have a grumpy look on your face?" She asked.

"Bingwen's pride is must definitely kicking in at this point." Chuanli said with a burst of laughter escaping his lips.

Immediately, Mr. Fang turned to glare at him. Instinctively, his nose wrinkled as he looked at the two men up and down.

"The two of you shouldn't take more than 3 steps close to me." He warned before turning to glance at Zhang Liling.

"Let's go in."

Just as he said that to her, a tall man in his fifties walked out from the building with two female servants.

"Eldest grandson." The man greeted respectfully with a small bow as soon as he approached them.

Fang Bingwen nodded at the Butler before instructing him. "Take these gifts and keep them separately."

These were the gifts from Zhang Liling, and he was instructing for them to be distinguished from the ones presented by the rest of the guests.

Understanding the instruction, he nodded and immediately complied.

Bowing slightly to Zhang Liling in greeting, he turned to Chuanli and Bolin to nod at them with familiarity before taking the bags from Zhang Liling and Fang Bingwen's hands, and handed them over to the servants.

With the Fang Family's butler leading the way, Mr. Fang took Zhang Liling's hand in his and followed with the servants behind.

Chuanli and Bolin were not left behind. The trio also walked forward and followed after them.
