"How are you feeling?" I asked the man as he walked out of the small room. "Good. The potion you have provided was very good." said the man.

He is Heleu from the Eyr race. He is a tall man, with black and blue skin. He had two eyes, which were on the same side as humans, but looked like they were made of pearls.

The eyes of the Eyr race are precious. They get hunted for it.

I had come across him a few hours ago; he was besieged by the three Grimms. I had joined the fight, and we were able to kill all three Grimms, including the one with the bloodline.

It had been my last Grimm with bloodline.

"Ready?" I asked as I got up. "Yes," he replied in confidence, but I could hear a tremor of nervousness in his voice.

Hearing his reply, I walked out of the abode with him behind me, before taking it back into my storage and walking out of the hiding spot.

It is still dark when we reached above the ground, but the sun will begin to come out in half an hour.

The dawn is the time for the assault at the teleportation gate.

"I hope enough people will gather. The number of spawns of abominations wouldn't be small," said Heleu. I couldn't help but nod at that.

It is not a strategized battle. The plan is simple: it is to assault the teleportation gate that Grimm has under their control. Since they know our plan, they will be prepared, and they will be in large numbers.

I am prepared as I could be I have killed a lot of Grimms since yesterday morning and till midnight.

Many among them had the bloodlines and helped me advance tremendously, but even with it. I have no confidence to survive, as there are going to be sovereigns in the battle and a single attack from them would finish me.

Even those below Sovereigns would be very dangerous for me.

Soon, we have sensed the presence; there is a big group walking. It is not a group per se, as many of them had a distance of tens of meters among them.

A band would be the right word to describe it. We joined them as we moved in the same direction.

Within a minute, the number of people reached hundreds and is rapidly increasing as more and more people joined. By the time the first rays of the sun fell on the forest, the number in our band had reached over a thousand.

Seeing that, a small relieved smile couldn't help but appear on my face. I had been worried, but now, the worry had lessened a little.

I am sure there would be many bands like this. I hope we will have enough numbers to take the teleportation formation from the Grimms or it would be the end of us.

Soon, we reached the end of the forest and saw thousands and thousands of people gathered there, from hundreds of races. Some I couldn't even recognize.

"My god! How are we going to defeat them?" asked Heleu in horror, looking at ranks of thousands and thousands of Grimms assembled in the neat order.

"They are not many as you think," I said to him, looking at the armor of Grimms. "How can you say that, they are nearly three times as us," said Heleu with eyes wide.

"Exactly, and our numbers are increasing," I said to his wide eyes.

Three times may seem like much, but it was stapled in our battles against the Grimms, but comparing these people to my native world would be a huge mistake.

These people are not the people who have fought thousands of battles against the Grimms. They are not the people who knew the Grimms as their sole enemy and learned and refined the fighting style that is suited to kill the Grimms with maximum efficiency.

This means these numbers are dangerous.

Thankfully, the people are still coming out of the forest, and it would be great. If we had a similar number as the Grimms; it would help us a lot in defeating the Grimms.

Half an hour passed, and our numbers reached to massive thirty thousand, half as Grimms, who have about sixty-thousand people.

There are also nearly two-hundred Sovereigns. It is hard to tell how many Sovereigns the Grimms have, seeing they are still hiding, but I hope it is not too much.

I could Reta among the Sovereigns; she is standing in front with other Sovereigns keeping eyes on the Grimms.

I felt glad she had survived. Those two Grimms she was fighting were powerful and level above her, but she had survived. She will be a great asset in the battle.

"Why aren't they attacking? Are they wanting a fair fight?" asked Heleu. Hearing that, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

"Nothing like that," I replied, and he looked at me in question. "They are letting us gather enough numbers, because if they attack too early. We might get too scared and run away in the forest, which will make their job of killing us harder,"

"They are allowing us to gather enough numbers. So, we feel confident about fighting. The moment they saw us confident with our numbers, they will attack us," I explained.

I may not know much of a battle strategy, but I know the basics, and this is basic.

"ATTACK!"

It had been a few seconds since I had explained to Heleu when the loud war cry rang out from the Grimms.

As it spread, the Grimms moved toward us, shouting their battle cry.

"ATTACK!"

Our leader shouted. She is a White Wolf Beastwomen, holding a lance, and with her command, we moved toward the Grimms.

Armor flowed over my body and the long sword appeared in my hand, as I ran toward the Grimms.

My eyes moved to the tens of thousands coming at us while my soul sense swept toward them.

I have one target and one target only. To kill as many of the Grimms with the bloodlines as possible, and this battle is a perfect place to find them in huge numbers.

It will be dangerous, and I might die. I would prefer it over other places like under the root, to the stray battle energies.

I don't want to die that way.

BANNNG BANNNG BANNNNG

The Sovereigns clashed in the air, sending out waves of energy that made everyone, including the Grimms, shudder.

Thankfully, they are flying high enough that the waves of energy their battle produce is barely any threat to us.

Still, I will need to keep some of my focus above. To avoid any accidents.

The Grimms are getting closer and closer; I could feel the heavy vibration on the ground. It felt like an earthquake and it creates a kind of suppression.

Some people got so scared that they simply stopped and not that I could blame them, even when I want to call them cowards.

"Cowards!" said Heleu and I could only smile.

The Grimms are not rare in this world, but not everyone had fought them. It might be the first time they have seen the Grimms and just got panicked.

I hope they recover quickly because being frozen or running back into the forest wouldn't be a wise choice.
