2913 The Pet I

Third battle began at the end of half an hour after the first battle; it was Shael, the foxwomen with Dusthorn Bullman, against whom Lady Angela had begun fighting.

They are attacking rapidly, and it won't be long before we will need to deploy all our Grandmasters; even I might need to join the battle, and I want to because currently, only I could kill a Grand Lord.

I am looking down on them; it is just that I developed my abilities to make use of every advantage I have; there is nothing that I left, and that helps me a lot in killing the Grand Lords.

I have cut the connection with the projection a few minutes ago, but the battles and other things are streaming into my core; I will instantly know if something happened, and also, I could keep working on the curse. I need to do it quickly as I can, as, without it, I don't think Supreme Commander will let me join the battle unless there is an emergency.

Thankfully, with the idea I had reading these books of secrets, I am very close to completing the suppression method. If I had gone with my previous method, I would have been finished by now.

It is only a few hours away, which would pass quickly.

A little more than an hour passed, and eight of our Grand Lords entered the battlefield; the biggest battles were happening as usual above the thing, and it was especially intense.

Others are also fighting fiercely, and they have nearly doubled the number of us. It would have been a wonderful advantage if they had not trained us in fighting with double or more numbers for years; for a human, it is never a problem to fight against the two Grimms of the same power, despite Grimms having all the advantages in the world.

Hun!

Two more Grand Lords joined; they had not joined the battle above the thing but against the Patriarch Bradford, and Supreme Commander immediately sent Lady Atkins without wasting even a moment of time.

Seeing that, I pulled some of my focus from working on the curse and focused on the battle; Lady Atkins's manipulation of water and elemental energies has always fascinated me.

I had tried to do it with the fired bus but wasn't able to do much, unlike Ashlyn, who is as skilled as Lady Atkins or more skilled than her.

The things she does sometimes really shocks me.

The moment after two Grimm Grand Lords, Lady Atkins also appears, and immediately, a blue staff appears in her hand, and on top of the staff is an orb of mor.

Seeing that, I couldn't help but become surprised; I did not think she would be able to bond her artifact with an orb of mor this soon.

As the staff appeared in her hand, she raised it, and immediately, a huge wall of water came from the sea below at extremal fast speed, and attacks of two Grimms crashed against it, and to my surprise, the hasty defense did not break.

Just a huge ripple appeared on the wall, but that too quickly, leaving shock to all those who were watching.

She did not just defend; the moment the wall of waters defended against the attacks transformed into hundreds of water lances that went toward the Grimms, which couldn't help but surprise me.

The did not have just speed, but they were also powerful; even though the visuals are not clear, I could still guess the amount of water concentrated in those lances, and if I were those Grimm Grand Lords, I wouldn't dare to underestimate them, and it seemed like, these Grimms are not planning too.

I watched the battle for a few minutes before again fully focused on the curse. If I did not have the curse to solve, I would have watched the whole battle.

Another hour had passed when the badge on my chest vibrated gently, and a projection of the Supreme Commander appeared in front of me.

Buzz!

"Lord Zaar, old snake had appeared," said Grand Commander, and before I could say anything, I found a teleportation formation under my feet. I had less than a second to prepare myself before I disappeared, and I appeared on the other side; I was above the neelam forest, which had the neelam river snaking through it.

It is a wonderful forest; people come here for vacations given its picturesque; if one looked closely, one could see many resorts spread across the forest. It is in the territory of Mistson; my mother has many good memories of this place.

It is quite regrettable; this place is going to suffer. It might even get destroyed, and there is nothing I could do or will not do.

Holding back, even a little against the enemies like an old snake, could cost me a lot, including my life. So, I will not hold back, even to save this wonderful place.

"Zaar," said the old snake with a faint smile on its face, "Old snake, I hope you have something good this time; I hope you don't waste my time like the last time," I said and smiled on its face froze for a moment before it appeared again.

I readied the purified divine energy; I would use it on my shield if the bastard started with the divine attacks.

"Don't worry, this time you will not be bored because we are going to kill you," said another Grimms as it materialized beside the old snake.

Seeing it, my eyes widened; I wouldn't be so shocked if it had appeared alone or with any other Grimm, but it had appeared with an old snake, and that was very dangerous, as it was not a normal Grand Lord.

The new Grimm was huge, one of the biggest I had ever seen; it looked like it could break the old snake into two; it looked twig compared to the giant Grimm beside it.

'Lord Zaar, I am sending a reinforcement,' said Supreme Commander the moment it had revealed itself. 'There is no need; the bastards have come prepared,' I replied, as I sensed the tens of artifacts covering thousands of kilometers of space, destabilizing faintly enough that no spatial movement could occur in it.

"Nice," I said as I focused on the second Grimm, Anrd, the Bronze Tusk Elephantman; it is an old Grand Lord. Not one of the most powerful, but it poses a great threat to me, more with the old snake.

"Anrd, just as we planned, quick and fast!" the old snake ordered, and the powerful aura blasted out of its body; feeling the power of the aura, my expression turned serious.

The old snake is not holding back, it had started with its full power, which is fine, but the Anrd, the Elephantman, also released its full power, which seemed like a mountain, space around it began to stretch by its sheer weight of bronze aura, and it is a bad thing for me; it would have been wonderful if I had a little taste of its power before it attacked me with its full power.

"Shimmer of Akraso!" shouted the old snake, and shimmering blue poison-like mist came out of its staff; at the same time, the old snake placed its thin hand on the giant Elephantman for a moment before taking it off.

"Might of Grasr!"

The Elephantman roared, and the extremely clear bloodline phantom materialized over it before disappearing back into its body, filling it with the sheer might that I nearly took a step back in fear.
