2875 Essence of Grand Lord I

Multiple formations lit across my inheritance and in my core; the healing energies from them mixed and began to heal my injuries rapidly.

While I was out, the Grimm had battered me a lot, and I want to heal as soon as possible because it is not just the soul this place attacks but also the body. A weaker body is more susceptible to attacks from the forest; I want to deal with the weakness as soon as possible.

Looking at my injuries healing fast, I entered inside my core and saw the Grimm chained on the crystal disk, which is a semi-spatial domain, and it was struggling hard against those chains and looking the way pulling and pushing; it seemed like it might be able to break through them.

I have never seen any Grimm struggling to this degree; usually, when they entered inside, they froze; the place did not let them even twitch, but it is doing much more than that.

Still, it can forget to break through; while it might seem it could, it will not. The chains are designed in a way they are more flexible, but they would not let anyone out once they are wrapped around, especially not this Grimm.

"So, this is where all disappeared come?" asked the Bearman while still struggling. "Yes, it is my core, the place you could never break through," I said and looked at silver and green runes, which had already covered half of the Bearman's body.

"You core? You must be joking!" It shouted out in alarm, to which I shook my head. "I am not; it is quite regretful that it could only take the wretched bastards like you and not humans," I said with a sigh; it had opened its mouth to say something, but at that moment, the runes finished covering its body.

I couldn't help but get surprised seeing that the runes had covered it at about the same speed as they did the High-Grandmasters, but it is a Grand Lord.

It is due to me; with the help of rose redemption, I broke down all the obstructions that slow down the spread of runes, and the results are amazing.

All that research was truly worth it.

Buzz!

The lit up as activated, and the second later, they blazed; the level of the energy these runes begin to harness is so phenomenal that they lighted up the runes.

If the whole core turned dark, the light from the runes would be enough to brighten the whole core; that's how bright they are.

The Grimms eyes went wide in horror as it tried to scream, but its mouth was closed, and I have isolated the guttural sound it is making. I have heard enough Grimm screaming that I don't want to hear it anymore, even if this is a Grand Lord.

I am more focused on the bloodline essence that the runes are harvesting.

Hun!

I was watching the harvesting when suddenly the violet mist began to come out of it; it wouldn't shock me as something like that never happened, and seeing the unexpected, I readied all my emergency measures; I have designed a lot of them.

I understood that harnessing a Grand Lord wouldn't be simple, so I created measures, as many as I could.

ROARRR!

The aura soon transformed into a phantom and roared; the power that surpassed the world easily broke out multiple isolation barriers and came down on me.

The power was weak, but it froze me to a spot that I could not help but even twitch; it not only froze me but also shook my core so that immediately, I wanted to activate the measures, but I did not.

The phantom is dangerous, and I might regret my choice later, but I did not activate any measures. Instead, I activated all the investigative abilities I have at my core.

These abilities are hundreds of times stronger than outside; it is my domain, thorough and thorough, and this is a rare chance to observe the bloodline phantom.

It is very hard to do that because this mysterious power covers it always; even the weakest bloodline phantom possesses the same problem, but here that problem is much weaker due to factors such as harvesting of bloodline and this being my domain.

I let it roar and rage while I observe, though I have kept an eye on the dangers of my core, and currently, it is only shaking it.

Most of the power of the phantom is resisting the harvest of bloodline essence, which it had slowed down, but had not stopped.

More than two minutes passed, and the power of the bloodline phantom had begun to lessen, which was no surprise to me; as more bloodline essence gets harvested, the weaker the bloodline phantom would become.

A minute more and the phantom is barely visible; the runes on the hand had increased the speed of harvest as the resistance began disappearing and now harvesting at three times more speed than before, and it is increasing by the second.

I looked at it for a few more seconds before I turned and walked toward the right, and soon, I reached the pool, the pool of corruption.

Inside it, tens of beautiful red lotuses could be seen; the red looked beautiful against the black of corruption.

"I hope it works," I said as the vase appeared in my hand. It is a beautiful vase of clay with figures painted in golden ink.

It is something I have got from Lady Vivian; she had come across it when she was searching for the cure for her sister.

Seeing it as a thing on my list, she took the trouble to collect it, and for it, I couldn't help but be grateful.

My next action could destroy these precious lotuses or help them take the next step to the Grand Lord. Them advancing to that level will help me tremendously, and for it, I am willing to take the risk.

The vase contains the corruption, the corruption of the Grand Lord class, and I am planning on mixing it with the corruption in the pool. The experiments I have done suggest that the corruption in the vase will mix well with the corruption of the pool, and the lotuses would also accept it.

I am doing that because while the corruption in the pool is vast enough to grow thousands of stainless lotuses, it is still a High-Grandmaster class.

The growth energy still makes them take a step above, but the amount of growth energy it will require would be at least four times more than if they have a Grand Lord class corruption in the pool to aid their growth.

I could not afford to spend such a large amount of growth energy on a single resource when there are other ways to lessen the expenditure.

The blood-soul stainless lotuses are precious, but I have other resources to grow, too, like the metallic essence tree; I could not let it hog it all.

So, I am taking a risk, and I really hope it works.

Gul Gul Gul

Since I had already made up my mind, I did not waste any time and opened the seal on the vase and began to mix the dangerous corruption into the pool.
