I opened the chest, and inside it found a small bottle it had a healing potion written on it; I took out the small bottle from the chest, uncorked it, and before taking a small sip from it.

As I took the sip, powerful refreshing energy began to spread inside me, and as it did, it started healing the injuries on my body. In less than five seconds, all the injuries I had suffered had vanished, but there was no smile on my face.

"Things will be bloody in this place," I said with deep seriousness and placed the potion bottle in my pocket before running toward the other Grimm.

The chest is a reward chest; this place had considered the disappearance of the Grimm as my kill and rewarded me for it. I am happy to receive the reward but sad thinking about the consequences it will bring or has already started bringing.

This whole place is not good but is not bad either; it could be said to be neutral.

Every test is different with different rules; in some tests, killing is forbidden and even punished, and in some, killing is encouraged and even rewarded; this one is among them. As for why it is bad because it will encourage people to kill, it is not just humans killing Grimms and vice versa, but also humans killing humans and Grimm killing Grimms.

The reward it gives is insidious; they are not random. It gives what one needed; it gave me a healing potion because I needed it, which seemed good but not.

When one finds themselves in a desperate condition that had their life depended on it, people will kill even their friends because this place will offer them things they need to survive.

I am sure many deaths would have already happened due to it.

Soon, I could see the Grimm at a distance and also the humans fighting against them, and I was quite surprised that she was still alive and running as the Grimm chased her; the Grimm was much slower than before, and it was clear that it was injured.

If it had been running at the speed I had seen earlier, it would have already caught her, and she might be in its stomach already.

Still, even at a distance, I could see the woman was tired, and while she was injured, the Grimm would eventually catch her due to the great stamina its size avail it.

I continued to run toward it, and soon they caught my glimpse, especially the Grimms, who stopped while I also received quite a surprise. The woman is a girl, someone I know, a friend I have made in the native continent; I did not expect I would meet her here, but I know she would be here; she is on the list I had suggested to the council.

Rachel

Not my ex-girlfriend, but a friend, the archer; she had made amazing progress, reaching the Grandmaster class without the aid of a project.

While the Grimm stopped, Rachel kept running; this time, she ran toward me, and Apeman, who had stopped, had also come toward me, despite now there being two humans and one who had quite a fearsome look.

"Run quickly before it catches us," said Rachel as she came near me, "Why? Running will only make us tired, and with the stamina it has, it will catch up to us eventually," I said as I waited for Apeman to come.

My words stopped her in her tracks, and she looked at me as if I was crazy, "You want to fight it? are you crazy?" she asked what she was thinking.

She had not recognized me yet, not I would if I had been in her place; my voice was heavy due to the dry throat, and nearly my whole body was covered in blood and caked with the sand, including my face and hair; in such state, even my parents wouldn't be able to recognize me.

I did not answer her question and instead threw the ax at her, "I am sure you will be able to use it at the right time," I said to her; she seemed quite surprised by the familiarity I had said those words to her.

She opened her mouth to say something but closed it, seeing that I smiled and walked toward the Apeman, who also slowed down and looked at me seriously.

It was not an idiot; it could see my state and also the weapon I had thrown at her, which was used by its friend earlier.

"Crog, surrender your weapon, and I will let you leave," I said as I appeared a hundred meters in front of him. My words seemed to genuinely shock it as it did not react for a couple of seconds.

"Hahahaha…"

It came back to its senses and began to laugh loudly; it had laughed so much that tears started to stream down its face.

"Ahh, its been a while since I have heard such a good joke," It said as it wiped out tears from its eyes. "It is not a joke," I said with a small smile on my face.

"To me, it is little human," it replied and looked in the eyes. "You may have killed that worthless Cakza of the golden fire tribe; you can forget about killing me, even if two of you attack me together," it said confidently.

"Good, I want to see how injured little Grimm like you could contend against us," I said and ran toward it.

I had already analyzed its injuries which are in its left leg; there are three bloody spots I could, one is on the knee and the other two slightly below it; these injuries have affected its gait as well as its speed, but as it said, it is not Werewolf and seeing I have killed that bastard, it will be careful against me.

Still, I have confidence I could kill it, and I will do it because there is no other choice. If we do not kill it, it will kill us.

"Die!"

It said as I had approached it and brought down its club at me, with power and speed that is above that of a golden fire werewolf.

Bang Bang Bang

I avoided the attack by inches, greatly surprising it, but it followed with another attack, taking its one good leg forward. I avoided that attack as well, and the one that came after and the one after that.

My battle with Werewolf has given me great experience in fighting with this strength, which I am using against it, and it is clearly frustrating as the confidant mask on its face is slipping up slowly.

"You seemed quite confident in your strength; where is that confidence now," I taunted as I had avoided another of its attack. "I will show it to you when I crush you to the pulp," It said and launched another attack, which I again dodged.

This bastard is very good.

It is playing by its strength, containing its injures quite well; not many people among the Grimms and humans fight such calmly as this Apeman is doing in such harsh conditions, which make most people a little reckless.
