A day had passed since I had begun to solve the formation; three days in the core, but I am still nowhere close to solving it.

The formation has now become even more complicated, so complicated that both my clone and I have heaps of tomes and scrolls in front of us.

Such things rarely happened; I have a very good memory and rarely forgot anything I had to comprehend; the conditions have become even better since I created a clone who has a perfect memory.

Now, in front of a wonderfully complicated formation, both it and I are flipping tomes and opening scrolls for the things we are having a problem in understanding.

Many people would be stressed if they came across such a thing, but there is a smile on my face. It is quite rare, that I have come across such things that stump me like this, but when they do, I do not leave the chance to solve them.

As these are the things that push me to my limit and help me improve.

I have been searching for these kinds of things, especially after the failure I had in the library. It is an understatement to say the puzzle inside the library was hard, it was beyond that, and I only had hours to solve it.

The first and second layers had been solved quite easily, but the third was completely out of my league, and when it appeared, I knew I had outclassed.

Since then, I have been feeling kind of down; the failure had hurt me hard. When I went there, I was fully confident in my abilities, I had 100% belief that I would solve the puzzle, but within a few hours, the puzzle had crushed me hard.

Solving this puzzle will help me a lot in regaining my pride as the Rune-Grandmaster, but it is not an easy task, as even after three days at it; I couldn't tell whether I could solve the formation, and I could even say the chances have diminished, even further as it became more complicated.

Another day had passed, and no change had occurred aside from the pile of tomes in front of me becoming bigger.

"You continue; I will take little rest," I said as I walked out dome of ruins which had become four times bigger than before.

I have been solving formation for six days continuously, and I am hungry and tired. So, the first thing I did was to cook food myself and two before bringing it out to it.

After finishing the meal, I wanted to take a shower before sleeping, but there was no space to do that. So, I cleaned myself with energy. Though I was already clean, it was the first thing I did after I got my energy back on the stairs.

After cleaning myself, I placed the formation around me. It is not a security formation but a boundary formation that will stop me if I try to move out of the tile while sleeping. This is the only safe place in the whole dome; moving out of it, even the slightest, would cost me my life.

I slept for three hours before waking up and immediately knew that my clone did not make any breakthrough as I had hoped.

I sat up and went back to my core but did not immediately go back to solve the formation; instead began to take a stroll.

"Father, you should enjoy these alk berries; they are really good," said Nero beside me and handed me a couple of berries that he plucked a few seconds ago.

"Thank you, Nero," I said, and the berries disappeared, and a second later, their take filled me. They taste wonderfully sour with a hint of sweetness but also have cold energy enough to freeze a High Grandmaster.

If others saw Nero and Ashlyn munching on resources, their eyes would pop out, and they would spit out the blood; even the council members would be shocked to their core if they knew the number of resources they eat.

I did not put much of restrictions on their eating; both of them are smart enough to understand how much they can and what things they should not eat. Still, I have to give stern warnings sometimes, especially when it comes to alcohol and stuff, especially to Nero.

I have not given him any alcohol, and when he saw Ashlyn drinking it, things got litter iffy. I have stopped him more than ten times from stealing alcohol.

I had spent an hour strolling through my core before I went back to the dome of runes and began to solve it with new calm.

"Yes!"

I don't know whether it was just my calm mood or someone else, but half an hour after starting, I had a breakthrough. It is a pretty big breakthrough, as, with it, things begin to move more smoothly, as now I have finally found a way.

Another day passed, and the dome had tripled in size before while my clone and I moved around fast, shifting the ruines around, which would bring the new changes, and unfurl even bigger and more complicated formations.

These things did not stop, instead excited me further as we reached closer and closer to solving the puzzle.

Nearly a day had passed when finally, my clone and I flashed back into our original place. I have finally solved the formation; it took little more than eleven days, but I did it; not many in the world have the capability to achieve that, even if they took a month to solve it.

I looked at the solve formation with a content smile before closing my eyes; when I opened them a second later, I was outside.

"Let's begin,"

I said with a bright smile and took a step forward and moved the ruin, and that was the beginning.

For the next two minutes, I flashed around the hall at incredible speed, moving runes from one place to another; the changes occurred in the formation as I did that, which is expected.

Buzz!

Another two and half minutes passed when the invisible runes became visible and shone in a radiant light. It became too bright that it became impossible to see anything, but the brightness stayed for a second only before it disappeared, revealing the stairs which directly led to the nine-colored matter.

I looked at the blue stairs made of energy before I gently stepped on them and began to climb toward the matter.

"You are going to be mine," I breathed as I appeared beside the matter, and a moment later, I removed a small bottle.

It is a pink bottle solely made of rule-bending crystal; I carved it out of crystal a few months ago, and in these four days, I reinforced it further. The treasure-like matter couldn't be stored in normal bottles, they need special storage, and this pick bottle is the best storage I have.

I opened the cap and moved the bottle below the matter before swooping inside smoothly and closing the cap in a single motion.

A moment later, the bottle disappeared from my hand, and inside my core, my clone was placed inside it in a glittering case made of a diamond crystal; it is one of the best storage cases I have; given to me by the council.
