2621 Grand Battle

"Damn, th," said Lord Singh as he returned from the infirmary.

He had finished his battle nearly forty minutes ago but went to the infirmary to check on his injury. Unlike Lord Leon, who had fought in the protection of shields, he was actively facing Grimm and got some serious injuries.

Even now, his aura felt like quite a week; he should have been resting, but nobody had said anything. It is not the time to rest yet.

Including the Grand Commander, five councilmen have returned from the battles, and three are still fighting, along with two Grand Lords. The battle between matron mavis and the leader of the coven has become even more intense than it is now all blur.

Thankfully, they have changed the place of the battle; they are now fighting above the sea. Even when fighting above, the residue of their attacks would evaporate a large amount of water and send huge tsunamis, huge enough to draw the cities.

We have already sent alerts to the cities, and they will be fine unless the battles move toward them; over 99.99% of cities in the world are incapable of dealing with the powerful shockwaves that are produced by the battle of the Grand Lords.

Suddenly another flashed in the center of the table, attracting the attention of all of us. "The Grimms are sending an awful lot of reinforcements," commented councilmen Leon.

"These resource sites are important to them; losing even a single one of them would be quite a loss," said Grand Commander, but did not say anything about sending the reinforcement.

Half of the Grandmasters had come back, but the council did not seem to be in the mood to send the reinforcements to the five teams that had gone to runes and realms. The battles in the ruins and realms are different; you do not necessarily need a too big force, and the missions there last longer.

It will take two teams at least two days to ten days to return, and I think the way Grimms are sending the reinforcements, we might need to send some too.

Though, till now, they have yet to ask for the reinforcement, I am sure they will ask soon enough. The battles there aren't going to be easy, but if we are able to get our hands on the single resource site, then it will be said to be a mission success.

Those are the resources sites containing very precious resources, much better resources than the navar ruin, which was also a resource site, and we are getting a huge number of it since we have got out hands on that ruin, but those resources are not enough.

Most of these resources are water elemental in nature, and not even a tenth of them could be used for the project.

I need very specific resources, and if I were to give a number, then I was only able to 1.5% of resources that came out of that ruin, which is not bad, not to mention we have sold there are others that require many of these resources and those that are not useful had sold by the pyramid and brought the resources we need from them.

In many worlds where there is no threat like Grimms, resources became one of the biggest reasons to wage war against each other.

There were nearly a hundred battles being fought in front of me; every few minutes, new battles would become visible; it seemed like the Grimms wanted to push us from every angle, to find a chink on our shields through which they could make the way.

While there are some weaknesses, there are no chinks; we know the Grimms too well to make such mistakes. There would have been few chinks, if the council had launched the attack without the project's help, but they did not.

"Ask Lord Sakar to engage," ordered Grand Commander, and a second later, Lord Sakar became visible and moved toward the enemy.

He had been on the battlefield f since the beginning, but the council had kept it hidden since the lord Sylvian was handling things. He will be the third human quasi Grand Lord on the battlefield there is already aside from the councilman Sylvian.

Another hour passed, and now, the mood of the conference room had turned somber; we had just lost another High Grandmaster.

Patriarch Bradford tried to rescue him but was stopped by the Grimm Grand Lord; he was fighting against the two High Grandmasters. He was not at a disadvantage till both of the Grimms burst out with great power; he was not able to match against that.

Seeing the death, I couldn't make myself feel happy about gaining my mobility; I could not move my body, and I silently walked toward the empty seat and sat.

Nobody said anything other than nodding before everyone turned back to the screen while I looked at lunar frost energy. I was not able to destroy all lunar frost energy; there is still some deeper inside me, which I am slowly destroying without harming myself.

It will take another two to three hours to deal with it, which is much longer than I had expected. It was far more resilient than I had expected; it would seep very deep inside the cells that one could need to be very careful in extracting or destroying.

Thankfully, the strengthening energy is still present in my body, which is healing my defrosted cells. If it were not for it, I would have needed days to heal this damage.

Still, I couldn't surprise by its presence; I had expected it would only strengthen what it could, but I was wrong. The strengthening energy is going for the comprehensive healing of my body and soul; I couldn't help but think the hidden being had some hands.

The lunar frost is not normal and has done something to my cells; my avatar had been studying it deeply, and I should have a complete analysis of the lunar frost.

A few minutes passed when finally, the battle between the matron mavis and the leader of Grimms ended. Their battles have shambled the whole area, multiple volcanoes exploded under the sea, and tsunamis have dawned on the cities.

Even now, the tsunamis are drowning the cities; thankfully, they were far enough that the residual power had been neutralised fully by the time the tides reached the cities, and what they are dealing with is only water. If there had been a hint of their powers in the water, there would have been great casualties.

"Matron,"

Everybody stood up aside from the Grand Lords as the projection of matron mavis appeared, and she directly looked at the old lord of glass.

"You were right, Winston; it had become more powerful; I was barely able to fight against it on equal ground," she said, and even though they have known this news from the old lord of glass, the effect of it is completely different when matron mavis said it.

She is the strongest powerhouse of humans, the biggest shield of humans against the Grimms, and hearing what she said, everyone felt like the weight on their hearts increased by ten times.
