2566 Domains II

"So, this is why they are growing here," I said as we appeared beside the field of gum-gum tomatoes. The energy here is so raw and concentrated that very few things could grow here, but still, there is a field of tomatoes here.

The reason is simple, there is a tiny source of water elemental energy in the midst of this fiery energy, and this water-elemental energy is mellowed.

Though the tiny bit of water elemental energy could give these plants a chance; they are like a broken raft in a tsunami, with more than 99% chance the raft will break and the person on it drown, but there is still a tiny bit of chance of survival, and these tomatoes have acquired it.

"Let's pick them; I am sure these tomatoes would be quite tasty," Rai said and picked the tomato, which was slightly bigger than the regular tomato, similar in size to the apple.

As he picked the tomato, a strong field appeared around his head, and his helmet disappeared. He brought the tomato to his mouth and took a bite; the tomato was obviously juicy, but not a single drop spilled out of his mouth.

After taking a single bite, he closed his eyes while a shock appeared on my face by what I saw happening inside him. The tomato contains the fiery elemental energy; it is a no-brainer given it is growing in such a dense energy environment.

What shocked me was the amount of fiery energy it contained; it is huge, seven times more than what is outside, which is already so dense that I am nearly at my limit, and fruit contains seven times of that, with a hint of water and herbal energies, which would let it absorb smoothly.

Rai had been rash eating that thing; the single bite had released so much energy that it packed his body in an instant and still increasing.

He is quite lucky to have a body that merged with the mutation and core, both of which are actively taking up this fiery energy that Rai took another bite and then another; before I know it, he had eaten the whole tomato, and now his body and core under strain to absorb the energy.

I looked at his meta-scan carefully, and I started to notice some things that made my eyes light up. 'It seemed like he would be able to open another quite soon,' I thought with a smile.

Rai is very strong, far stronger than one could imagine; people would be shocked if they know he is currently only using only 30% power of his while the rest is sealed.

The mutation had made things a lot more complicated, and when he had leveled up to High Grandmaster, all those complications which so deeply hidden that I could not even see came out, making things extremly dangerous.

It was a good thing he had found me quite quickly, and I was able to help him with his problems, but still, I had to seal most of his powers.

At first, he could only use only 10% of his power, but slowly he released the seals I had created inside as the mutation and core found the balance with each other. The tomato seemed to help quite a lot in creating a bridge, and soon another seal would be opened, letting him use 40% of his strength.

The mutation has given him great advantages, providing him with strength that is far more than a person of his level and bloodline should have, but it could also turn into a curse at any time.

"These tomatoes are really good; the best resources for the fire elemental powerhouses like Micheal and me," said Rai as he opened his eyes; next second, we began to harvest the gum-gum tomatoes, and in a few minutes, all the ripe tomatoes were carefully packed in our storages.

"We have found quite a good bounty in this domain; I hope we would be such lucky in other domains too," said Rai and walked toward the other side.

"Wait," I said to them, "Do you notice something?" asked Lady Atkins, as both of them became alert instantly and activated their abilities, ready to deal with anything that came in their way.

"No, nothing; I just want to expand this field and plant a few more seeds," I replied and began to work.

I took out several things quickly, most of them related to formation, which I began to spread around and inside the field. My movements and familiar and efficient, and I did not stop for a moment.

It is not my first time doing something like that; I have done it hundreds of times in my core. Every new plant requires preparation; I couldn't just throw seeds and hope that growth energy would grow it.

While it may work on regular plants, the truly rare and precious plants require far more preparations than that.

The formation will spread the water elemental energy further; I plan to create several more fields and plant different plants here.

I have collected a vast amount of seeds ever since I had formed a core; there are thousands of them, and in those thousands of seeds, there are some seeds that are very suitable for this environment, far more than these tomatoes.

It took a few minutes for me to lay out the formation, which will level me to create four more fields of the same size as the tomato fields. I could have created more, but tiny water elemental energy coming from the underground could only support four.

Though I have already formed to plan to use all the caverns and domains, they possess huge potential, and it would be a sin if I did not use them.

After laying out the formation, I took out said I have hundreds of types of soil; one type of soil would be particularly useful for this area.

I have taken out the bags of whitish soil from the core and spread them before mixing them with the soil of the domain.

With that done, it was time to sow the seed; I took out the seeds and the other things required for sowing. I could not just sow the seed and leave it not; I needed to add fertilizer and other things and create the formations around them.

It is more complicated work than one might imagine; I had made many mistakes when I started and still do, but that is the way one learns.

"Finished!"

I said after nearly two and half hours, but when I looked at the neat fields and shining formations, which are absorbing the raw, fiery energy to power themselves, I couldn't help but feel proud of my work.

"Micheal, I didn't know you are a farmer," Rai teased from behind. "It is a hobby I picked up; you should try it too," I replied, which wiped the teasing smile off his face.

"You are quite skilled, Lord Zaar; I don't think we have many people who understand and have skills for such advanced farming," praised Lady Atkins. "Thank you, Lady Atkins," I replied; it feels good to be appreciated for what you have worked so hard to achieve.
