2554 Elemental Control

"Since you are so willing, I will send you to death. It will be me finishing the job; I couldn't finish a century ago," said Snakeman with a smile before its eyes turned vicious, and a thin sword appeared in its hand, which it swung at Grandmaster Atkins.

It was powerful, far above what Grandmaster could handle; it would have taken my Grandmaster class shields to the breaking point.

I did not do anything, just stayed behind her watching, and I am not the only one. Every Grimm and human is watching, including Rai and Fasra, who hadn't begun fighting.

Grandmaster Atkins did not move, even when the attack had reached halfway to her. I was ready to act to save her and Snakeman from stopping me; when Grandmaster Atkins moved her hand gently, something amazing happened.

I had felt she might do something; seeing her doing it and doing it at this scale had truly surprised me.

As she waved her hand, the thick water energies gathered around her and formed a paper-thin wall. It is not a common wall of elemental water energy; it is a wall of concentrated water elemental energy forged using a complicated method.

She had forged this energy wall, only using her energies around her; she did not use even a speck of her own energy, aside from the soul energy which she was using to manipulate the water-elemental energy.

BANG!

The attack clashed against her, the paper-thin wall of concentrated energy and the loud bang rang out before the power of the whole attack seeped inside the energy screen and disappeared inside it, while not a single crack appeared in the paper-thin wall.

All of us watched in astonishment; I didn't know what to think of it. What she had done was beyond common sense.

The equally shocking thing is that it did not cause her much energy. Her metaphysical scan is in front of me, and I can guess how much energy she had used; it is barely anything; she had defended the attack with pure energy manipulation.

She did even summoned her Bloodline armor.

"You bitch!"

The Snakeman got angry; any Grimm in its place would get angry out of shame if it was in its place. A Grandmaster had defended against its attack without even summoning their armor.

This time, the snakeman did not attack with the sword energy; instead, it had directly gone toward Grandmaster Atkins. Its speed was extremly fast, and it appeared behind her in what seemed like an instant to her.

"Die!"

It shouted and swung its sword at her, which was powered by water elemental Inheritance energy revolving around the sword.

The attack was so fast that I could see the Human Grandmasters were slowly opening their mouths in horror, and by the time they let any word out, the attack would have already done its job.

BANNG!

The sword hit her neck, but it did not even shake her; she had formed a layer of crystalline water elemental energy around herself. The layer was powerful enough to defend against the powerful attack of the High Grandmaster.

Once again, the Grimms eyes popped out, seeing its attack not creating even a scratch on the energy layer.

It was in a deep shock seeing it, but suddenly its eyes became clear, and fear flashed for a moment before it disappeared from its spot.

It had reacted very quickly, or those small knives that came out of the energy layer would have definitely pierced through it.

"How are you able to do it?" asked Snakeman as it created sufficient distance; "Dead bastard like you don't need to know that," She replied, making her even angrier, but she did not care, as she finally summoned her armor and waved her hand.

Dense water elemental energy began to move before hundreds of energy spheres began to form around her, and a fraction of a second later, their numbers reached thousands and still growing to the shock of everyone.

Sup Sup Sup

Two seconds later, there are ten thousand spears around her that are directly thrown at the Aqua Snakeman.

It is quite an amazing attack; those spears are extremly powerful; I could see the vein-like power marks etched on them, which are like runic formations that made them and control them, while crystalline water elemental energy they made of provides the immense power.

"Don't overestimate yourself, human bitch!" Snakeman shouted, and the powerful aura burst out of it, and it moved its sword to destroy the coming sphere.

I watched everything in an unceasing shock, and I know I was not the only one, but I was the only one that could see everything in complete clarity. I have a complete meta-physical scan in front of me, which shows every little change that is happening in Grandmaster Atkins's body.

Grandmaster Atkin's bloodline is unknown; she had never disclosed it, but it was powerful enough that one of Grand Lord had said that she would get a seat in the council in a few years. She might have, if not falling prey to Snakeman, more than a century ago.

From what I have read about her, she was born on an island close to the central continent, where she ate the Bloodline fruit when she was fourteen years old.

She begins to practice, and her growth is the exponential and most striking thing about her is her ability to control the water.

This ability advanced as she advanced, she became a Tyrant before twenty years, and by the time she was twenty-five, she was a Grandmaster.

The information said her Grandmaster's breakthrough was forceful, and she suffered quite problems due to it; her speed of progress had slowed down, but she was still able to reach the peak of the Grandmaster class by the forty, shocking everybody by that.

In the water, she was unmatched; she was even able to escape from the High Grandmaster many times. Which seemed to make her overconfident, a price she had paid when she fought against this Aqua Snakeman, who nearly killed her.

The thing is, it was always assumed that Grandmaster Atkins could only control water.

There was no mention of the elemental water energy, controlling it, which is hundreds of times difficult, but looking at the way she is manipulating it, it seemed like this thing manipulating energy is much easier for her than manipulating the water.

I began to look deeper for her secrete; at first, I thought she was really good at manipulating water and her blood, only a small part of her, but it seemed like it was not true.

While she is talented, it is clear that her bloodline has played a huge part in it, and I want to know-how. If I could understand that, then one day, I might be able to control the fire as she controls the water; could even be to get hands-on elemental energy control.

CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG!

The Aqua Snakeman is not to be underestimated; even with ten thousand spears coming at me, there was barely any fear in its eyes as its sword began to crush them one after another; as it blinked around the spears to make its way toward Grandmaster Atkins.
