2539 Changing Seals

Suddenly, the deep anger in the eyes of Black Sharkman Fasra receded back into its heart, and it had turned to Grandmaster Werewolf, controlled by me.

"Micheal Zaar, I have heard a lot about you, most of which I had thought were exaggerations, but it seemed like they are not," It said, without a hint of emotions in its eyes.

"Well, I had also heard a few things about you, especially about you running away with your tail tucked between your legs from when you fought against lady Vivian," I replied, with my mouth and also with the mouth of the Werewolf.

I could see all the anger that it had hidden second before appearing in its eyes in an instant before once again receding back into its eyes.

"Well, there is no need to get aggressive when we could talk civilly," It said, and I nodded. "Yes, we could, but finish it within two minutes and forty seconds, as you the process begin by then," I replied, and surprise appeared on his face for a second.

"Good. I was hoping that you would not do anything to our kin; it is in your favor, too; the interference will cause retaliation from the artifact," It said, "Even I wouldn't be able to survive against the retaliation of the artifact," It added.

I could see faint confidence in its eyes as it said it, while my appearance had shocked it first. It is now got its emotions under control and with a calm mind, understood, I couldn't be able to do anything against the Grimms without harming myself.

It just informed me of that because it varies my tricks; not anyone could pass through under its eyes and even control and communicate from the artifact, which is supposed to block all the signals and the magical energies.

"Oh, I know that, which is why I will not touch any Grimm," I replied and could see a relief flooding into its eyes and the eyes of surrounding Grimms.

"But, I will do this," I said and turned back and waved my hand; just as I did, the change appeared in the whole Grimms.

The golden triangular seals above their heads shook and wavered in front of those watching before moving toward the humans and covering them in their golden radiance.

It shocked everyone, be it humans, Emperors Grimms or Black Sharkman and the Grimm Grandmasters that were watching outside.

This artifact is extremly powerful, and it is extremly hard to circumvent its rules through the normal means, but I was able to do it.

I have never come across such artifacts but read about them, and from the information, I have collected from the Grimms, I know how this artifact works.

All these emperor Grimms have been marked with special seals of Grand Lord. It is due to these seals that the artifact recognized these Grimms; what I just did was copied the seal while enveloping the real seals inside the seals, the cage of rule-bending power.

I would have liked to destroy those seals, but they were created personally by the Grand Lord, and I had already used all the rule-bending crystals I had created through the months and was barely able to accomplish this gigantic task.

It was very costly, as I have been creating these crystals for the project. Now that I have spent them, it will be very troublesome to meet with huge demand that will come in these two months, especially the ninth of the project.

"Human, I will give you a chance, surrender, and you will receive a quick death; harm even a single person of my race, and I will torture you for years," said Black Sharkman slowly as it finally spoke up after several seconds of pause.

Its threat made me look at it dumbfoundedly; if it had a regular Grimm Monster, I would have understood this threat, but this is a Fasra.

It is one of the most powerful and experienced Grimms out there; it should not issue such silly threats, and it seemed to read my mind, and strangely a small smile appeared on its face, the one that filled with deep cruelty which stopped my heart for a second.

"You must be thinking my threat is silly, considering you are holding all the cards while I am watching from the sidelines, unable to do anything?" It asked with a smile, and I nodded.

"Well, you are a little bit wrong; all you have little emperors and good we have spent decades on."

"Some of them will become Elites, Leaders, Masters and few hardworking and talented would become Grandmasters, and if we are extremly lucky, then one them might able to become a High Grandmaster, but that is all," It said and turned to me and directly in the eyes through the door.

"But, still, their value is far less than you, Micheal Zaar. The coven had declared your threat bigger than your council members,"

"So, even if you somehow survive the artifact, I will have you when you come out, and nobody will be able to stop me," it said and laughed, showing me its huge sharp teeth that would tear me apart if I got caught in them.

"I have to say, your reasoning is quite good, but do you think I am without a plan? That, I haven't thought about you?" I asked, but there was no change in its face as if it had expected that I would ask the question.

"Yes, you might have, but let me tell you, human, they would not be enough; even the appearance of High Grandmasters would not be enough," It said with full confidence. "We will see you to that," I replied with utter confidence, which faltered its confidence for a fraction, but it returned as if it had never faltered.

Its words are very true; if my plan did not work or provide me with sufficient strength, then it would be extremely hard to survive against it, but before I think about surviving against it, I should worry about surviving the artifact.

A few hundred years ago, there used to be an overseer inside the artifact, but one overseer went mad for some reason and killed all Grimm Emperors and humans.

Since then, the overseer is always out till the process is finished, which means the artifact will not tolerate anyone other than the people who the part of the transfer, and I have to be part of the transfer; thankfully, it should work.

I walked toward the pink phantom of mine; on the way, I saw the young woman looking at me with a shock like the rest of the humans, but unlike them, there was the recognization. She knew I was the person who had spoken to her telepathically.

I gave her a smile and a wave before sitting down on my phantom; as I did, it began to become bigger and bigger, till it became gigantic, thrice as big as Grimm Monsters with me floating above its stomach.

The phantom and I are one, and I hope the artifact sees the same. My survival will depend on it, as only after that I could begin on the plan that would help me survive the Black Sharkman.
