Monster Integration

'How easy it is to wrap the strings around the enemies when I am not occupied in battle,' I said to myself as I wrapped my strings around two Grimms at three times more speed than I usually do.

These Grimms are not weak; one of them is Peak Grandmaster, and the other is Mid-Grandmaster. Even though I am working fast, I am extremely careful. One slightest mistake would make them discover me, and I don't want to it happen, at least not before I am successfully wrapped my strings around them.

Ashlyn is standing ready. At my words, she will move and kill the two Grimms, of which one is the peak, and the other is Mid-Grandmaster.

A minute and a half passed, and finally, I finished wrapping the strings around the Grimm Monsters.

Just as I finished, it couldn't help but stumped me how easy it was; I was killing two powerful Grimm Monsters within a minute. People did not seem able to kill a simple Grandmaster within years, considering how slippery they are with the numerous methods present in my arsenal.

Sigh!

"Ashlyn, you can begin," I said and pulled the strings just as I did; the two Grimms disappeared. It had instantly alerted the two Grimms; all four of them were in constant contact with each other; the moment two disappeared, they noticed.

Not even a second passed when suddenly a thumb-size metal sparrow appeared behind it; it got alarmed seeing it and had just moved to dodge her when it noticed the sparrow had already passed through its head and came out of the other side.

The remaining mid-Grandmaster reacted far more smartly than its intelligence about it had said. It had activated its beacon even before the peak Grandmaster had been killed and disappeared from the ruin, which is quite regretful, as I would have really liked to have its storage.

I shook my head and walked toward the entrance of the and entrance of the underground chamber carefully.

Ashlyn had just told me there were two flesh golems there; I could not get discovered by them when I had reached so close to my destination.

I had just taken a few steps when the harvest began, and a thick purified bloodline began to move and get harvested from the two Grimm Monsters. The combined bloodline's essence is so powerful that it nearly stopped me in my tracks.

The Bloodline essence a lot, and it couldn't help but excite me, and I wish I would have been in the place where I could reveal this excitement; unfortunately, I am not.

I am in a place where even breathing loud would get me detected. So, I crushed down all the excitement and moved cautiously as possible.

The harvest lasted for more than a minute, three and half a minute inside, which is a lot considering how fast the runes harvest the Grimm Monsters when they are inside me, but they still took a three and half minutes; it is the best news in waves of bad news.

BUZZ!

A moment after the harvest finished, the strengthening energy was released from my core. It is so pure and so much that it had made me gasp; it is a good thing I sealed my armor from any inside noise; otherwise, the flesh golems would have definitely heard it.

I have not only sealed the sound but also tightened the locks of my armor so that not a speck of my aura would be revealed outside.

With the huge amount of strengthening energy, my aura is increasing every second rapidly. I had to take every breath and every step with my newfound strength in mind; the slightest mistake in calibrating the force and I would fall on my face.

The strengthening energy enriches my soul and body, while the growth energy enriches the plants inside my core.

They are growing at a speed I have never seen them growing; it is simply unbelievable. I thought the earlier speed was fast, but this is faster. The plants are just growing, the metal essence tree is glowing faintly, and the fruits on it maturing rapidly.

I looked at six fruits; I will need them for my breakthrough; though I will not be able to use them in natural form, considering I do not have a metallic constitution, and while I will be able to use them without any side effects, it would be better, if I filter away the metallic part of fruits.

For others, it might be near impossible, but for me, it is possible, and I have reached close to perfecting a procedure for it.

The strengthening energy remained in me for more than five minutes before it had got completely absorbed, and the strength I have got gave me great confidence that I might be able to survive this endeavor in this underground repository.

Forty-five minutes passed, and I finally reached the gemmed door without getting discovered by the flesh golems, but there was no smile on my face. Just a minute ago, the Grimms found the second thing they needed, and the Bullman and old Foxman looked very ecstatic about it.

These bastards have already found the two of the five ingredients they needed for whatever reason. I need to quickly enter inside and find those other things before them.

Ashlyn quickly entered inside me and began to absorb her share of energies as I reached beside the gemmed door. The Aleigari puzzle is now completely different than the one Foxman had solved, and I had spent sixty solving it.

It did not matter as I had cracked it this one, too; after Grimms and Nero walked inside the door, I had asked Ashlyn to come inside. I had copied the puzzle and even solved it, and now I am moving the runes to create the key.

Buzz!

The runes buzzed as I finished, and the key formed, which I had pressed inside the keyhole. Just as I did, the door opened.
