2432 Bronze Graveyard

A day had passed since I came to this ruin, and in the day, I had killed six flesh golems and three Grimm Monsters.

They are the ones that had been killed by me, not by Ashlyn and Nero, both of them who are quite close to reaching the bronze graveyard where the numbers of flesh golems are even higher; that even Grimms did not dare to show their faces openly.

It seemed like what Hrata said was true, and the source of these flesh golems also seemed to be in the bronze graveyard.

It would take Ashlyn one-two to two hours to reach the bronze graveyard and Nero slightly more. Both of them are much faster than me, possessing specialized and strange methods that I could not compare. Still, it forced me to think about my speed after a long time.

My speed is fast; there are very few people in peak Grandmaster could compare to me, but it is still much slower than Ashlyn and Nero.

If I want to increse my speed with my current strength, then I would have to bring great changes to my speed method, and it is not an easy thing to do. My method is already at its best, and if I want to reach an even greater speed, then making changes to it would not be enough; I would have to replace the whole move.

I was thinking about the ideas when I released that; the idea was already in front of me.

Nero's flying method is very unique and equally hard to materialize, seeing he uses the properties of space to fly.

He had a natural affinity to spatial energy or rather created spatial affinity, considering he is wholly made of rule-bending power and could do whatever he wanted. He could even change his shape and size and transform into something else; it is not that hard for him.

One and a half hours had passed, and Ashlyn had reached the bronze graveyard. She would have reached it a little sooner if she had not wasted time-fighting against two flesh golems.

The Bronze graveyard is a huge decapitated compound the size of the city; it also has an extremly dense metallic aura that even initial Grandmasters could not bear, and this aura is in dense bronze color; though it is not bronze elemental in nature.

The metallic aura is not in the spectrum of any metal; the only other element it has is death. This death element is not natural but produced through excessive death.

Producing a death did not produce by the simple death of a few people; even killing millions would not produce even a hint of it.

While the number of people matters to create the death aura, their power matter more.

Even seventy-something Grandmasters that have killed her have been able to produce a hint of death aura, but that aura vanished in a day, but the old death aura remained with barely any change.

I couldn't help but shudder when I think about the number of people that have been killed here and how powerful they would be to have such an everlasting death aura.

Ashlyn flew above the bronze graveyard, but she did not see anything strange from above, aside from a really large number of the flesh golems; that were roaming there and one Grimm that was hiding with a very good method.

'Go close but be cautious,' I said to Ashlyn. A moment later, her size began to decrease till she had become smaller than the and she became incorporeal that even people next to her would have a hard time seeing her and it even hard to sense her, even when concentrate all their soul senses on her.

While she dived, I increased my speed even further; there were very Grimms present in the whole ruin. There won't be more than twenty, and we have already killed five of them, so the only thing I should be worried about should be flesh golems.

Most of the flesh golems that wandered out of the bronze graveyard are initial and peak Grandmaster class; there are very few peak Grandmaster class flesh golems. Even if I had come across them, I have confidence that I could defend against them.

So, there is no need to hold back on the speed anymore.

Still, it is a risk that I have not taken. If not, this thing happening had made me worried. The Grimms have sent a huge force, and the mission leader seems to be a high grandmaster, a Grimm Monster with the strength to fight against the council member.

To send such a powerhouse means they have found something important, and I have to stop them before that; I have to find out what they have found.

Ashlyn began to comb through the bronze graveyard, and soon Nero had also arrived. He directly dived into the bronze graveyard; he was already invisible, and his stealth ability was even better than Ashlyn's. So, I am not worried about his safety despite his impulsiveness.

Seeing both of them searching for the Grimms sign, I became more hopeful. By the time I reach there, they should be able to find where the Grimms have found the supposit repository.

I was right; in just half an hour, they had found another Grimm sentry hidden in one of the collapsed buildings; then another on another the underground floor.

In the next two hours, they have found two more, and all six of these Grimms have formed a circle. Keeping eyes on everything that came inside the ring.

Finding it out, Ashlyn and Nero focused on the circle; these Grimms had formed, but even after an hour, they did not find anything. They kept searching; both of them and I are very sure that whatever Grimms have found is in this area, and they just have to continue looking.

They have continued for more than two hours before they have finally found the sign.
