2397 Nine Suns Hell

"Nine Sun's Hell!"

It said softly, and the suns behind it disappeared and appeared high above me, covering a huge area with me as the center.

The moment that happened, I felt like I had appeared in a fiery hellscape; everything changed around me. It is like somebody had flipped the switch and made the change, but this is not sudden; it had happened since the battle began.

The Werewolf had begun making preparation for it just a few seconds after I appeared; it was just very well hidden that even peak Grandmasters might not be able to sense it.

Everything around me is dangerous yellow flames that has turned the ground into bubbling lava and burn the air itself. The fiery energies here are so powerful that they would burn the soul sense itself.

Many people used the soul sense and died due to it.

There is detailed information about the Nine Suns Ahnilation in the pyramids archives, and also a couple of warnings, and the biggest is not to use soul sense when one is trapped within nine suns hell.

It would be akin to lighting a fuse and giving a direct way to the soul; the fire will burn the soul's sense and soul through it, killing one instantly.

Strings came out of me, forming layer upon layer of protection; I was standing in a fiery domain which is powerful enough to burn the Mid-Grandmaster to ashes in an instant and kill a regular peak Grandmaster within a minute.

I am only surviving because of my defense, and it is an energy attack instead of a powerful attack. If it had attacked me with a physical attack of such power, I would have been forced to summon my shields.

Even now, I am rapidly increasing my defense by wrapping myself with layer after layer of strings. It is the only way I could survive in this fiery hellscape.

"It seemed like fire alone is not enough to kill you," said the Werewolf as it appeared in front of me; it did not seem surprised by me not bursting into the flames right away.

"Chains of Annihilation!" It said, and a moment later, huge thick chains came down from the nine suns hanging in the sky. These fore chains are huge; each link is big as me and thicker than my head.

These nine huge chains are coming at me at extremely fast speed and power that forget to capture me. They so much crashed into me that I would be finished, so I can't let these chains touch me.

I activated the third boost immediately and let its vast power fill me; it is truly immense that with it flowing inside me, regular peak Grandmasters could forget about killing me; only the council level Grimm Monsters would have that power.

The power of the chains comes pretty close to it, and I have no interest in letting it touch me.

BANG BANG BANG!

The chains came, and as they were about to crash into me, I shifted from my spot, avoiding the chains that crashed into the ground one after another before they removed themselves extremely fast and came at me again.

This time, the chains changed their strategy; they had spread around before coming at me from all directions, wanting to leave no space for me to move.

Well, that is just wishful thinking; I have studied the information about this Grand Art in great detail and wanted to experience its full power, which is why I had stayed despite sensing it casting the attack from the beginning of the battle.

I had weighed the pros and cons of it and made the preparations. If not for that, I would have never would have taken such a risk against these powerful Grand Arts that had killed the most humans Grandmasters in these millennia.

A soft smile appeared on my face, and I moved to dodge the chains, but this time, the chains were not having me run away as they moved toward me.

BANG BANG BANG

"Let me see if you can catch me," I said to Werewolf and disappeared from my place before appearing over the chain, and when it moved toward me, I shifted my place again. My speed has become like teleportation, never staying in a single place long enough.

I have never moved such fast, but even after moving such fast, the chains were right beside me, never staying too far away from me.

They are improving as they follow me as if the Grimm is predicting my direction and moving the chains according to it.

It is not Grimm that is doing that but art itself; this art is not only offensively powerful, but it also contains a bit of foresight. This ability let the host predict the direction of the enemy to a certain degree.

Thankfully, the foresight only appears when the host is using the full power of the art and is only available through certain moves like the nine suns of hell and the chains that are produced through it, and it is the reason I had chose to take the risk.

I have always been very curious about this mysterious foresight since I have read about it in the notes of her excellency.

"Is this all the famed foresight could do? To be honest, I had expected more," I taunted the Grimms before avoiding the chain that directly came in front of me to attack me.

I wanted to rile it up, and this time there was no fear of it attacking me with even greater power since it was already using the full power of its art; it was the only way it could use the foresight.

"Human, you are underestimating me; I am from Golden Fire Werewolf; I have other things than my art!" It said, and its mid-Grandmaster class aura exploded from its body; it is very powerful, but not enough to make me worried.
