Monster Integration

2310 Grandmaster Stein I

"You have worked really hard, keep up and soon you will reach the limit," I said and moved my strings around her bloodied form before starting to heal her injuries.

Her injuries are serious but they are not complicated; I will just have to do some targeted healing while the rest would be done by her healing power. It won't take long for more than an hour to heal her after I finished with her.

"When will you reach your limit?" She asked directly looking at my eyes and I smiled hearing that.

My regressed level is very known in upper echelons but nobody thinks it is true, including most of the Pyramid council members. It is too hard to wrap their heads around it, they think I am Grandmaster despite never explicitly telling them to.

Only very few people understand I am not truly a Grandmaster, even though they have never explicitly asked since I had leveled up.

"It will take a while. This is why you should try to reach go for a limit if ever want to catch up to me," I said with a smile, to which she let out a light snort and closed her eyes as she begin to aid me in healing.

Normally, I made my patient seal their energy during the healing but I did not when it come to Elina.

She has been trained to become a healer for more than a decade and even though she had no interest in being a healer, she knows enough to aid me in my healing to heal herself faster.

A few minutes later, I withdrew my strings out of Ellens's body and she got up. "Have you been able to find out when they will let us join the war again?" She asked. "Yes, but I did not get a clear answer," I replied.

"Though, they could not afford to keep her here forever. I am sure, within a few days, we will join the war again," I added. "Good, I am very much looking forward to fighting some powerful Grimms,"  She said before walking into the teleportation formation.

After Elina left, I took out my sword and begin to practice.

I have got a lot of inspiration from fighting those experienced Grimms and I want to actualize what I had learned. I had been practicing daily, both inside and outside of my core, and made good improvements.

It won't be long before my combat style advances to another notch. It would be very helpful to me if it happened before my next mission.

While I mostly make use of my strings and they are wonderful weapons that barely any Grimm Monsters was able to escape alive once they have caught into them but I still need my combat style; not to kill the Grimms but to remain alive long enough to kill the Grimms.

Tring!

I was practicing when my holowatch buzzed with the mail and it is from Hawthorn Sea. They are asking for an appointment, though the mail had clearly said it won't take more than a few minutes of my time.

I agreed and continued with my practice and only stopped one and a half hours later. The sweat had pulled all over my body and my muscles are shaking but there is a satisfied smile on my face.

I placed my sword back into me and walked out of the practice room.

Back in my room, I straight went to shower and came out ten minutes later before walking into the parlor, there is barely any time before my appointment with people from the hawthorn sea.

Buzz!

It had been only a few seconds since I reach the parlor when the teleportation formation buzzed and a handsome man who looked to be in his early fifties with thick long blond hair walked out of it.

"Grandmaster Zaar," The man greeted, "Grandmaster Stein," I replied with a smile. I have not him before but I know a lot about him, considering he is one of the strongest Grandmasters of the Hawthorn Sea and usually stayed within his organization, rarely going out.

He is an old monster, over three hundred years old and only a step away from reaching the Grand Lord that just a look from him, made me suffocate for a moment.

"What does Hawthorn Sea want from me? It must be something important for a person like you to directly come to me?" I asked as we said. He smiled at my question and it felt like thousands of bulbs lit up across the room.

"I have always wanted to meet you Grandmaster Zaar but you are right, there is a very important reason I have come to you," He said and by the end of the sentence, a smile on his face has vanished and his expressions have become serious.

"The reason, I have come to you is to ask for your help, more specifically for resources. The Hawthorn Sea hopes that you will help us with any abyssal element resources you have, preferably of Grandmaster Class," He said.

"Is it related to abyssal source aura that felt across the world a few days ago?" I asked. To that, he remained silent.

"Yes," He affirmed more than ten seconds later. His reply had surprised me a little as I thought he would not give me the answer considering the sensitivity of the topic.

"You do know that abyssal element resources are extremely rare; you guys are one of the reasons why their prices have reached such height," I replied without giving an answer about the resources but he understood my hint and his eyes lit up.

The Abyssal element resources are very rare, to begin with, and with Hawthorn Sea snatching every piece of it, no matter the grade had increased their prices to an astronomical degree.

"We understand the rarity of the abyssal resources and are willing to pay a premium for it," he replied and that put a big smile on my face.

I do have some high-class Abyssal element resources and I want something specific for them, that Hawthorn Sea would not part in normal conditions.
