2134 Harvest Of Vines

A few more minutes passed by, and vines had nearly stopped growing as the Grimm Monsters who survived were able to run away under the protection of their powerhouses.

Now, one could only see giant vines spread across the battlefields; the vines have spread for miles and miles, covering a huge area. Looking at it, one could not help but feel horror, as nearly part of vines hung the clothes and artifacts of Grimm Monsters with barely any Grimm Monsters hanging on them.

Though there are few and all of those are the ones with bloodlines, my vines were not able to harvest those with the bloodline, so they had just killed them.

Hun!

I was watching the inception of a new weapon in the enemy's hand when suddenly, a change occurred in seven screens, one after another.

Three powerful attacks have clouded the sky; even looking from the screens, the attack is shuddering, and every Master shuddered seeing it. It looks like the Grimm Monsters are really angry that they have sent them.

"Grandmasters are attacking!" Hans said as seven different attacks clouded the screens. All of them are extremly powerful; through them, one could feel the rage of the Grimm Monsters. If these attacks landed on my vines, they would be obliterated.

Very few of those vines could bear the attacks of Master; there is not a single that would be able to bear the attack of the Grandmaster; everything would turn to ashes.

The attacks had reached halfways when suddenly counterattacks and shields appeared in front of those attacks but not on all screens the humans have launched the counterattack, on three screens, I had seen no shield or counterattack appearing in front of the attacks.

A different clasing sound rang out as the four attacks stopped from reaching the ground, but a moment later, three attacks touched the ground, obliterating every sign of vines from the ground. When a couple of seconds later, the signs of attacks vanished, there was nothing on the ground except for ashes.

A disappointment couldn't well up in my heart, seeing that each vine contained precious data and a huge amount of resources, but all of it had vanished in a single attack.

On the four screens, the battle had stopped, no other attacks came after the first, and no sign of Grandmasters could be seen, whether they were present or just left, nobody knows, but no one had launched the attack.

Grimm Monsters sending out ten Grimm Monsters is quite a risky move; seeing this might have been a trap and we were to kill all the ten of them, the things would quickly escalate, and for that, both sides are not ready.

If the Grimm Monsters are ready to give us the final blow, they could have sent a hundred Grandmasters, and they have that numbers, but they are not ready for the final attack either.

In every war we have fought, the Grimms always have a triple or quadruple number of Grandmasters on their side, but despite that, they never have been able to win any war fully or wipe us out, and there are many reasons for that.

So, unless the Grimm Monsters have a way to deal with all the reasons, they would not launch an all-out attack despite having the numbers.

Seconds passed by, and all our focus remained glued on the screens, which were without any movement, when suddenly something happened, which caught most people off guard; very few people know about this thing.

The huge vine on all the screens began to shine up; it shone so brightly that one could not see what was happening with it.

"Gasp!"

The shine had lasted for nearly a minute before it started to dim rapidly, and a completely different scene revealed itself, which is the opposite of horror earlier; it made nearly all the people watching gasp in shock and amazement.

The giant fucking vines have disappeared, and on its place appeared the twinkling roses of all colors which are floating in the air which spinning gently. On each screen, one could see hundreds of thousands of roses, over a million in some; it created the scenery like a wonderland.

"This!"

Victor said as he looked at spinning twinkling roses, he was shocked as he was mesmerized seeing the beautiful wonder created out of horror.

"As I had expected, these are essence roses, and there is only one person in the world who could harness them from the Grimm Monsters," General said slowly as he looked at the.

"Micheal Zaar," Marla said, and the rest nodded.

"Still, creating something creating like that at his level seemed too much. Has he made a break a breakthrough into the Grandmaster?" Victor asked.

"I do not think so; even the most gifted would not jump from Master to Grandmaster in less than a month, and it would be even more difficult for him, seeing he has a Celestial Inheritance," General replied, and he is right.

I would need a lot of time to reach the Grandmaster class but not so much in gaining the power of Grandmaster.

Though I would still need at least two months or even more to gain the power of Grandmaster, it all depends on quickly I reach my limit and upgrade my Inheritance for my next small level up.

"The weapon is quite powerful, nearly taking half of the Grimm Monsters from each battlefield," I said. I had been too quiet since the screens had appeared; I should say something before they suspect something.

"Yes, according to my estimation, those vines have killed 50% to 70% Grimm Monsters from each battlefield," General replied while looking at the screens.

"These are quite a blow for a Grimm Monsters," Victor said. "Yes, it is, and we should prepare for crazy attacks of Grimm Monsters. I hope Pyramid would send us reinforcements quickly as possible; we are going to need for what's coming up next," General warned, and our expressions couldn't help but turn somber.

The Grimm Monsters would react to this hard, and we have to be prepared to deal with it.
