They have blocked the space, which they had no need to do, seeing it is extremly hard to break the space in Devil's Gate. Elite Tyrants could not do it; only Leader class Tyrant with exceptional capabilities could do it.

They likely feared that a Leader class Tyrant might come in for the rescue, which is likely to happen. Each leader class Tyrant is very busy, and if it is not something extremly important, they did not take action.

Leaders are precious; each of them is equal to the hundred Elites, and losing a single one could affect war results.

Boom Boom Boom

Fighting had already seemed to have begun, and if sounds were any proof, it is going intense. If I want to leave, it would be a great time for leaving; if battle progressed further or some Grimm Monster was able to break into the Airship, it would be too late.

The mail that Miss Mars had sent me is about the escape pod. It is not the normal escape pod but a state-of-the-art one that is extremely fast, which even Elite Tyrant would have a hard time catching up to and would need to attack for more than an hour to break it.

There are only nine of such pods on the Airship, and one of them is reserved for me, but I have to decide whether I want it or not in less than five minutes. If I declined or not decided within a time frame, the pod will go to the next important person.

In every official Airship of Pyramid, every individual is given priority, and according to the priority, the division of resources like escape pod is divided, and it is this priority decided whether a Leader class Tyrant would come to the rescue or not.

I did not decide immediately and opened the log of an airship with my new advanced access. I wanted to access the cameras outside, but it is beyond my access, though I could watch inside, and except for some restricted areas, everything is visible to me.

I tapped few buttons on my holowatch, and immediately hundreds of small screens appeared in front of me.

The first thing I saw was panic; everyone is freaking out, talking loudly with each other with fear in their eyes. While there is panic, it is controlled. All the people are Emperors here who had gone through thousands of life and death battles; it is not easy to break their will, even in such conditions.

I looked at the feed for a while before I opened another window and rejected the escape pod; I am running away.

I am not fearless that I want to leave and die with an airship, but I felt like escaping would not be safe. The Grimm Monster has stopped the pseudo-spatial Airship, and seeing the sounds of fighting, it is clear that they have come in huge numbers with ample preparation; they would not be letting any of the priority personals leave.

A moment I rejected the escape pod, someone took it, and a few seconds late, that escape pod had been ejected from the Airship.

Seeing that, a small smile couldn't help but appear on my face. There are hundreds of people on the Airship who would kill to get into an escape pod, and some even are attacking the place where the escape pod is.

They will not be able to break it; the defenses of the Airship are very strong. Forget the puny Emperors; even regulars Tyrants would not be able to break it.

I did not go out; instead, I sat back into my bed and opened hundreds of screens around me, watching everything that is going on in the Airship, and within a second, it is becoming extremely clear that not a single Tyrant had remained on the Airship.

Two minutes passed, and the sounds outside have become even louder; it is clear that the battle outside has become even more intense.

BANG

I watched the battle happening when suddenly, I heard a loud bang, and the whole Airship shook. Multiple alarms flashed in front of me; someone had attacked the Airship with intentions of breaking into it.

BANG BANG BANG

I thought it was one stray attack that had hit the Airship, but I was very wrong; as the next attack, the Airship started to shake more with greater intensity.

'It looks like I would have to go out after all," I said with a sigh and got up from my spot and appeared beside the door of my cell, which opened immediately as I flashed my badge.

I became a blur and moved toward the place where the Grimm Monster is attacking, and a few seconds later, I reached there, and to my surprise, there are already twenty-some people gathered by huge dent which is getting bigger and bigger with each second.

As I appeared, a surprise appeared on the faces of some people. "How do you get out of your cell, criminal? Are you a traitor?" suddenly, a beady-eyed man in his early thirties asked, hearing that I could help but get surprised.

I did not think anyone would recognize me, seeing all my records had been locked that other than Elite Tyrant with high access, no one would recognize me. This beady-eyed guy likely had seen me in a criminal line and remembered my face.

With its shout, all the people looked at me, and their gazes filled with hostility and weapons ready to attack me at a moment's notice.

"Sigh!"

I took out a visible sigh, and a faint aura released from me and loud gasps from the people around me who begin to look at me with fear and envy. Some hot-blooded one who took threatening steps toward me immediately backed out as if their tail is on fire.

"T...Tyrant!"

Stammered the beady-eyed man who first identified me. Yes, I had released the aura of Tyrant, which is no big deal for me. I would not have done it, but there is no other way to make these people back off.
