( Emperor Cervantez's POV )

Cervantez was busy solving logistical issues for his army when suddenly his son barged into the room looking extremely excited.

" Emperor! Kane is on the move. He has left his camp alone and is headed to a border area very close to the land that the Hazelgroove army controls.

Although we are not sure as to what motivated him to make a move-

We assume it is to protect his bright underling prospect Ferox Blackfang who is currently fighting against Ravan Bloodfall and the Bloodfall clan " Aman said as he informed his father of the latest developments.

Cervantez processed the information for a second and then asked " Do you think it's a good opportunity to kill Kane? "

" I think it's a god-gifted opportunity, father, we can absolutely take him down, " Aman replied as Cervantez sprang up from his seat and began gearing up with haste.

If by some miracle, Ravan Bloodfall was able to stall Kane long enough for Cervantez to arrive, it would become a field day for the light faction as Cervantez was certain that he could finish off Kane if he caught him in a one vs one battle.

" Protect the territory in my absence at any cost " Cervantez said as he passed down the responsibility of protecting the lands to his tier7 son.

( Meanwhile Rudra )

Moving at speeds that would be impossible for a tier1 warrior, Rudra tore through space itself to get by his brother's side as fast as possible.

He really did not wish to expose his identity if it were not necessary but he could not let his brother die a futile death.

It was still acceptable for him to spare Lucifer if it meant saving Max.

In his mind he was fully prepared to engage in battle, yet at the last possible moment just as he reached within 2 kilometres of where his brother was fighting Ferox, he felt his senses tingling as a monarch's aura which did not belong to Kane grew stronger in presence.

" Cervantez…. " Rudra said with relief as now the whole equation changed.

His mind working at full speed, he quickly came up with a dangerous plan that would most likely ensure that Max did not die while also not needing him to expose his identity.

The plan needed Max to trust him and fast, because Kane was almost upon them.

Still running at his usual speed, he arrived underneath Max within a split second as while still being in his old man form he looked up towards the sky where Max was bombarding Ferox with constant inferno spells and shouted

" BOYYYYYY! LISTEN TO ME, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DIE, SUMMON YOUR SHAMAN GOD FORM NOW!

DO IT!

DO IT!

THERE IS NO FUCKING TIME TO WASTE ".

Rudra gave Max the best warning that he could and then turned towards the direction from where Kane was zooming in as he put one hand into his inventory ready to draw Excalibur if necessary.

If Max did not shift to his shaman god form, Rudra had decided he would personally step into battle.

( Meanwhile Max )

Max was starting to feel confident and in his element while fighting Ferox once the clone joined the fray alongside him.

Although individually Ferox was stronger than both of them, together they could push him back.

The clone was a god-gifted cheat for Max.

Not only did it help him maintain his dual-identity which in itself was the biggest Trump card in any battle he fought. But it also gave him insane combat advantages.

There was no wonder as to why the skill was placed in the restricted section of the universal warehouse. It was a skill with the potential to create a second monarch out of thin air if used when Max reached tier8 strength.

But just as he felt like he was gaining the upper hand and suppressing his opponent, he heard a scream coming from underneath him as with the side of his eyes he could see the old man shouting at him with absolute urgency.

" BOYYYYYY! LISTEN TO ME, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DIE, SUMMON YOUR SHAMAN GOD FORM NOW!

DO IT!

DO IT!

THERE IS NO FUCKING TIME TO WASTE ".

Max's eyes widened in shock as he heard this, he understood that the old man wanted him to summon Angakok, but what he did not understand is how he knew that he needed to shift to that form when the rest of the universe thought that it was his own inherent skill?

The old man was missing when he needed him the most in the previous council meeting, yet now he was suddenly here in the middle of the battlefield and desperately shouting for Max to commit to a secret move.

There were a million questions in Max's mind as the identity of the old man had just became a whole lot more complex, but something about the urgency in the usually calm and aloof old man's voice made Max feel like this was not the time for questions as he decided to trust the old man and summon Angakok.

" O holy one, the progenitor of all shamans

Your descendants call for your help.

In exchange for my vitality, my mana and my vigour grant me your immense powers, for my enemy's need to be destroyed.

Heed my call for I know your name ' Angakok ' the shaman god, the enslaver of the' Kraken ' and the slayer of the sea god Poseidon.

Heed my call! "

Max called on Angakok to take over his body as the clone continued to push back against Ferox who was now grinning with an uncanny, almost evil smile.

Max was teleported to the white space while Angakok occupied his body as usual, however, when the Shaman God took over Max's body, instead of the usual situation where he had to deal with tier6 brats or multiple opponents, this time around even Angakok felt his scalp tingle with fear as he felt Kane's presence growing near.

" YOU IDIOT! FALL BACK! " Angakok shouted towards the clone as he himself erected an entire tall forest of blood trees, to suddenly blot out the sky.

The clone could not understand what was going on. The [ wind manipulation] skill which could usually detect the movement of any opponent was but child's play in front of beings who understood and manipulated the laws of the universe.

The clone had no idea that Kane was approaching him fast which was why when Angakok suddenly erected a forest of 150 feet tall blood trees, he felt like something was seriously wrong as the shaman god had seemingly erected that forest to defend against an enemy and not to target Ferox which was unusual.

When the clone eventually heard the shaman god's thick and raspy voice warning him to fall back, he understood that things had gone beyond his realm of understanding as he disengaged and had barely descended a few inches when a devastating attack cleaved through the blood forest in half, missing the clone's head via mere centimetres.

" My lord! You came! " Ferox said as he looked towards Kane with eyes full of pure worship, while Kane coldly surveyed the two ants he was summoned to kill.
