'I slept for twenty hours?' Alex thought, looking at the time on his phone.

'I need to organize the mountain of newly gained information, but before that, I should shower and have something to eat.' Alex thought and quickly left to take a long cold shower.

'I expected the Malefis Domain to be a small hidden continent with a small number of inhabitants, but this is beyond unexpected.' Alex thought as he ate his food while organizing the knowledge he gained after becoming the Ruler of Malefis Domain.

'After gaining this information about Malefis Domain, I understand why Erebus was so confident that I would do my best to save his kingdom because only an idiot will miss on such lucrative benefits.' Alex thought after processing all the information related to Malefis Domain.

After Alex sat on the throne, other than agonizing pain that he couldn't remember, a large amount of information was also uploaded into his brain, which was related to the Malefis Domain and his role as its Ruler.

'I don't know what kind of problem the Malefis Domain faces that its inhabitants could get erased in just a few decades, but no matter what it is, I am not planning to abandon my treasure trove.' Alex thought.

The information Alex received about Malefis Domain was very detailed, but it didn't describe the current condition of its inhabitants, so he had no clue about the current state of the domain and its inhabitant's problems.

The Malefis Domain was a giant continent three times the size of the human continent, making it the biggest continent in Alex's knowledge, but the massive size of the continent was the least extraordinary thing about it.

The Malefis Domain had many different intelligent Races inhabiting it, with the major Races being [Dragon, Undead, Humans, Winged People, Vampires, Mythical Beasts, and Elf's] with each race ruling over a different area of the continent.

There were also other intelligent Races with their number being in double digits, and among them [Giants, Dwarfs, Gnomes, Orcs, Cyclops, Faeries, Minotaur's, Centaurs, and Werewolf] were the few Races with the most influence and strength after the seven major Races.

'The Malefis Domain is simply the utopia for players, and I can't believe I am its Ruler and the sole player present to take all its treasures.' Alex thought.

The Malefis Domain was a giant treasure trove for anyone, but especially for players because it was filled with areas rich in every kind of resource and area filled with strong and rare monsters that even Alex had never heard of or read about.

'The benefits I could receive from Malefis Domain are amazing, but I need to work very hard to acquire them, but the free benefits of being the Ruler are just mind-blowing.' Alex thought, remembering the broken benefits that he had received.

Alex received four free benefits as the Domain Ruler, with two being freely useable, but to use the other two benefits, he needed a unique currency that he could gain after completing the Ruler's Tasks.

Alex received the following four benefits.

•①-Rank Zero Ruler Authority.

•②-Protection From Death. [Only in Malefis Domain].

•③-Continental Teleportation.

•④-Rulers Shop.

The Ruler Authority gave Alex the power to forcefully command any intelligent inhabitant to do his bidding, but it won't work if the inhabitant was stronger than him, but that was only a fraction of its actual use case.

The Continental Teleportation allowed Alex to teleport to any continent in the world, but at his current Rank of authority, he could only select a single continent.

The benefit of Death protection was self-explanatory, and the Ruler's shop allowed him to buy many valuable items, but their quality also depended on the Rank of the Ruler's authority.

The Rank of Alex Rulers' Authority determined every benefit that he could gain as the Domain Ruler, and to increase the Rank of his authority, he needed to meet only one condition, which was nothing less than a headache.

'I need to kill demons to increase the Rank of my Ruler authority, which will be a major headache as I don't even know where to find any demons.' Alex thought.

'I could teleport to any of the seven continents using Continental Teleportation in the future, but if I reach high enough authority, will I be able to take other people with me to the Malefis Domain?'

'I need to check on so many things to understand my new situation, but before returning to the Ancient World, let's visit the hospital for the Life Serum treatment.' Alex thought as he stood up, ready to leave for the hospital.

Alex went straight to the hospital, and after successfully taking the Life Serum treatment, he visited the gym on his way home.

Alex spent two hours in the gym doing an insane workout, and when he left the gym, his arms were like jelly, and his whole body was in a lot of pain.

Alex put his body through such torture because it was the best way for a normal human to gain the best benefits from the Life Serum treatment.

It was nighttime when Alex reached his house, and after having dinner and some family conversation, he went to his room, ready to return to the Ancient world and explore the unknown.

'The Life Serum treatment is amazing as I feel much better, and even all the pain from the workout is gone.' Alex thought, standing in his room next to his VR Capsule, ready to return and start his journey.

'I wonder if my body is still sitting on the throne or if Varon took me some room in the palace.' Alex thought as he entered the VR capsule.

'Why am I in consciousness form?' Alex thought while standing in a beautiful green garden.

"Adventurer, We meet again."

'What does he wants from me?' Alex thought, seeing AI Zero watering the plant in the garden.

"I want to tell you a few things before you can return to your wonderous adventurers." Zero said with a smile.

'I am confident he didn't arrange this meeting to give me any good news, but let's hope it's not an interrogation related to my luck.' Alex thought, knowing full well that the things he had done after joining the game could have raised some red flags.

"Player Hidden One, Congratulations on acquiring a [SSS] Rank legacy and becoming the Ruler of the Malefis Domain." Zero said while doing a small clap.

"It would be nice if you showed some emotions because gaining even one of your two achievements will change the life of any player." Zero said, seeing Alex having a black face.

"I believe you understand that after becoming the Ruler of Malefis Domain, you have an unfair advantage over every player in the game, which I have no problem with, but I still need to put some restrictions on you to keep the game running smoothly." Zero said with a smile.

'I knew he won't let me run wild and use my authority as the Ruler to mess with his game, but I thought he would just place the restrictions and be done with it.' Alex thought.

"You becoming the Ruler of Malefis Domain is a special scenario because I calculated it would take players three years at the earliest to locate the darkness legacy throne."

"You not only reached the throne with the help of your Beastmen friends, but you also defied the odds and became the Ruler of Malefis Domain." Zero said.

'What Beastmen Friend?' Alex thought, confused at what Zero was saying.

Alex was surprised, but he didn't react to it because he had no clue what Zero was trying to accomplish and whether what he said was even true or not.

"I promised complete freedom to players, but I must place few restrictions on you to keep the game balanced, but as compensation, I will give you one wish with very few limitations." Zero said with a bright smile.

'I was not expecting anything, but giving me a wish with minor limitation is beyond generous.' Alex thought, surprised at the free compensation.

"I appreciate the compensation."

"These are restrictions." Zero said, and immediately a holographic blue system window appeared before Alex.

•②- Player Hidden One cant sell any resources gained from Malefis Domain that he didn't acquire using his strength. [Time - Five Years]

•③- Player Hidden One will not gain any EXP while being in a party with any NPC from Malefis Domain who is not the same Rank as him. [Time - Five Years]

'These restrictions only stop me from breaking the game but won't hinder progress which is all I care about.' Alex thought, happy with the restrictions.

"I have no problem with the restriction, but don't you think the restriction time is too long?" Alex questioned, not liking the time, but he also knew that Zero was already generous with him, so he asked the polity not to offend the AI.

"The restrictions won't be valid in special circumstances," Zero replied with his usual smile.

"Enjoy Your Adventurers." Zero said as he sent Alex consciousness to his game avatar.
