The old butler raised his head and looked upstairs hearing Shangguan Tong ask about Huo Yao. He replied, "Now that you mention it. Miss Huo is usually up by this hour to work out. She slept late last night, so perhaps she decided to sleep in a little this morning."

Hearing this, Shangguan Tong raised her brow.

Yu was always a disciplined woman. She would not break her habits just because she slept late the previous night.

At this moment, Huo Jinfeng slowly walked down from upstairs. When he saw two people standing there, he asked on approaching them. "What are you talking about?"

The old butler hurriedly greeted Master Jinfeng and explained, "Nothing. We're just puzzled why Miss Huo hasn't come downstairs yet."

He did not know where the second text message came from. During the past few days, he could sense an inexplicably deep connection between Huo Yao and Shangguan Tong.

It felt as though they had known each other for a long time.

Huo Jinfeng gathered his thoughts and said, "Yaoyao has an important project waiting for her back home, so she's flying home."

Shangguan Tong hastily looked at Huo Jinfeng. "Did she go back?"

Huo Jinfeng said nothing but refused to let go. The two of them went into a stalemate.

At this moment, the doorbell rang. The old butler did not dare to even breathe loudly. The moment he heard the doorbell, he felt relieved and hurriedly answered the door.

Shangguan Tong looked at the bag. She thought about the way Huo Yao mentioned people were tracking her. She could not help looking at Huo Jinfeng and asked, "Do you know why she's suddenly leaving?"

Shangguan Tong spoke softly and sighed, "Mirage Base has their eyes on her."

A second later, Huo Jinfeng let go of her hand.
