Miracle Card Shop: All My Cards Can Be Actualize

296 Preparation for the Land of the rising sun

Envy's emotions swirled with complexity as she comprehended Daniel's intentions.

"You plan to bring this thing to Japan!? Do you want to massacre the entire Hojo clan!?" she asked, her tone reflecting a mix of concern and disbelief.

She understood Daniel's deep-seated anger towards the Hojo Clan, but the sheer scale of Oceanos seemed like an excessive response.

"That's a good idea, thanks for suggesting." Daniel replied jokingly.

Envy's patience wore thin, and she snapped, "That's not funny!" The gravity of the situation was not lost on her, and she sensed that Daniel's response might not be entirely joking.

After a brief argument, Envy managed to regain her composure.

"Sigh... So what do you want me to do?" she asked, her tone more settled.

"You see, Envy... The Oceanos is not completely ready yet. That's why I asked Greed for a month to prepare this. Oceanos can bring an entire army and all the arsenal I have to help Greed," Daniel explained.

"I see, so this thing is prepared for the Texas skirmish... and I mean skirmish, not total war! Do you understand the word 'skirmish'?" Envy emphasized the term, once again losing her composure.

"I understand, but as they say, 'Don't underestimate your opponent,'" Daniel clarified.

"Thanks, now that phrase was taken to the next level by you," Envy commented.

"Let's continue. I need you to oversee Oceanos' preparation. Penthesilea and Odysseus have their hands full right now, preparing the forces, supplies, and weapons that will go with Oceanos. I need you to oversee Oceanos' crew and also prepare them for traps, weapons, or challenges they might face against the Hojo Clan or the Confederation in Texas," Daniel instructed Envy.

"That's easy enough. Anything else?" asked Envy.

"Since Penthesilea needs to oversee the base operation and Odysseus also needs to help her plan to integrate the refugees who come to stay with us in Sector Alpha City, and Michaela is too... let's say, naive to command this vessel, and she needs to take care of Sylvana too. That leaves only you. I need you to command Oceanos," Daniel stated, leaving no room for Envy to refuse.

"Sigh... Fine, I'll do it. At least when I'm in command and you want to do anything crazy, I can still veto it if it's too excessive," Envy said, letting out a sigh.

"Thank you," Daniel expressed gratitude before walking toward the exit.

"Where are you going?" Envy asked.

"I have some business to attend to, and I'll immediately go to Japan after I've finished it. Tell Penthesilea and Odysseus that they don't need to worry, just follow the plan," Daniel explained before leaving the Oceanos.

After leaving Oceanos, Daniel takes the yacht to the nearby island and instructs the crew to not follow him. Then he summons the door to the card shop and enters.

A familiar sight greeted Daniel—the keeper standing behind the counter, smiling. It brought a sense of calm to him after the hectic schedule he had just endured. Much like in college, the card game shop proved to be the place where he felt the most relaxed.

The hubbub of people arguing and boasting while enjoying card games provided him with the utmost comfort.

"How may I help you today, Mr. Emberweave?" the keeper inquired, his signature smile suggesting he knew everything.

"Is there a new box set?" Daniel asked.

"No, sir. But if you want to use your points to unlock a new box, please use the console over there," the keeper replied, gesturing toward the vending machine.

Daniel checked the achievements and noticed several unlocked, including one significant achievement that rewarded him with a Legendary card.

Achievement: Rich to Poverty - Turn the Hell Lord of Greed into the Hell Lord of Poverty.

This brought a chuckle to Daniel as he recalled the amusing antics of the yellow iguana, Mammon.

Checking the card, he realized it was one he never thought he could obtain—a card still in his draft book. This card should have been burned along with the orphanage he grew up in. Yes, it was the draft of the card he had noted down in his notebook as a child!

"What is this?" Daniel pondered.

This is the first time he encountered a card with so much unrevealed information. Perhaps this was because he noted this card down during his childhood? Or maybe he neglected to record those details while still a child.

Daniel turned toward the Keeper, eager to inquire about the mysterious card. However, upon seeing the Keeper shrug and make a face that seemed to say, "I don't know, don't ask me," Daniel suppressed his urge to ask. Instead, he opted to try figuring it out with the assistance of some helpers he decided to actualize.
