'If it does'

He continued in his thoughts but didn't say it out

"Ellis, your coming with me"

Jumping off Jasper's back YuJu disappeared in a new cloud of smoke, Ellis following right behind him

Whoooo~

Another breath came to shoo away the smoke but only managed to whittle it down before more came to obscure vision of the two, forcing the big fellow to concentrate its efforts on it and ignore the fleeing dragon who had no way to escape its entrapment

Tornados were called forth and a storm bellowed leaving not a bit of smoke behind revealing the scorched ground where no trace of the two could be found

"?"

Confusion was visible on the big creature's face, did all these little guys have the power to disappear from sight or what?

The two in question were heading toward the back of the big creature, hidden under YuJu's cloaking energy while deftly avoiding the various attacks made from the creature's mix of illusion ground and aura, knowing that if they touched it they might be found

"In a second I will transfer toward you a huge amount of aura, I need you to brace yourself and focus everything on incorporating it into your own power, if its impossible or seems to be tempering you the wrong way then quickly disengage from the enhancement, there are other ways to deal with this guy than wasting your potential"

Ellis nodded, already having an idea of what he wanted to do

Once the two were at the back of the creature YuJu held Ellis by the waist with one hand and checked with her one last time

"Ready?"

"Yes Master"

With her acknowledgment he leaped toward the unguarded back, daggers thrown to the air before laying his bony hand on the creature

His presence was instantly exposed but he couldn't care less, activating synthesis with the enemy's aura as the target

'Come on, work!'

The incorporeal aura surrounding the creature followed his suction force, flowing through him and out the hand grabbing Ellis, seeping into the redhead in a gentle manner

Sensing something rather off the creature hastily called forth a fiery rain to fall down the two's location, something YuJu already expected and avoided by running across its back, hand sliding against it without letting go

"It's working Master"

Much to his joy she was capable of incorporating the new aura into her own, whether it was due to his own skill or the mastery she held over aura he has yet to know

"Then I shall increase the amount"

Strengthening the suction force YuJu was assaulted with the immense amount making him feel somewhat dizzy

Ellis also seemed to struggle a bit but managed to keep composed, taking it all in without wasting his efforts

The drain of its aura caused the creature much alarm, putting extra effort into shooting down the two but to no avail, all the attacks were deftly dodged as YuJu predicted where the attacks would strike by monitoring the surrounding energy being accumulated

"Miii!"

Angered and feeling some danger it finally decided to concentrate all efforts on removing him off its back, that meant allowing the barrier it was keeping hold of to disappear but it was worth allowing them to flee if it meant survival

With the barrier no longer maintained it had all the energy it needed to send a torrent of flames and thunder down on YuJu, drowning its own back with it so he could no longer escape

Tsssss!

A steady ray broke off the attack however as the Witness along with its minions appeared after finally being granted entry, staving off most of the firepower to allow its master the continuity of his mission

'Good, at this rate we might be able to win'

With support to block for him he could worry less about evading, at least he thought so until the creature's body emitted an earthly energy

'Trying to stab me through? Not a chance'

Daggers dropped out of his storage for him to ricochet and stay afloat, spikes came out where he previously stood, now he had to concentrate on the daggers as well since only his hand constantly absorbing and nullifying any attempt at conjuring something under it was safe

'Enemy!'

Anput's thought came to inform him of the approaching formation of disaster, something he already sensed with all those piercing gazes locked onto them

'Follow my instructions and guide your shadows to block them off'

They couldn't spot the creatures with the illusion hiding them so guidance was necessary, though ti put much strain combined with the absorption and dodging the attacks as well as keeping himself air born

"Haa"

A labored breath came out as he felt his mind overloading, it was like dividing one's self into many people and controlling them all at once

'I can't keep this up'

It was too much for him to focus on, the only way to keep up would be to increase his intelligence beyond the threshold

'Might as well use all the Ap I have been saving up'

His level was way beyond a hundred by now, with more than two threshold's worth of AP and intelligence naturally raised to ninety nine, meaning he could reach a tremendous amount if he dumped everything into it

'Here goes'

Putting one point into it he felt a small jolt before being informed of a new skill

It didn't catch his attention with its mediocrity so he proceeded to dump everything else in, quickly passing the two hundred fifty threshold forcing his overloaded mind into near stasis

The momentary lapse earned him a direct hit to the waist by a lightning strike, the subsequent attacks blocked off by the Witness which took it upon itself to absorb them with its own hard body, slightly injuring it but nothing fatal

Whether it was by sheer amount of his newly gained status or something to do with the acquired skill, YuJu started to easily absorb all the aura, not to mention coping with all that was happening with room to spare

"Mi!"

Crazed by its own power being absorbed the creature went on a rampage, maximizing every tiny bit of energy it had to get this bloody little leech off its back

"?"

During the heavy barrage YuJu was almost hit by another one of its lighting strikes but actually absorbed the energy and aura of the attack into his hand

'Oh, right, the attacks are made of aura as well'

He smirked as it made the battle all the more easier, now he could dodge whats possible and just absorb whatever else he couldn't maneuver around quickly enough

"Mi"

The big hairless ball knew things were going downhill and called for its tiny kin to help, which they tried to no doubt, surging toward it like the tide only to be put to a stop by Anput's small army and the few Witnesse's minions who broke off the protective formation to cover the area those shadows couldn't guard

Slow and painful was the process of extracting the aura and energy from the creature, slow for them, painful for it

"Mi...."

Giving one last breath it keeled forth and slammed into the earth, all its illusions long gone, and it's entire resovour of if energy drained and assimilated into the small redhead now sleeping soundly in YuJu's arms

"Whew, that took the wind out of my sail"

Falling into a sitting position YuJu tried to fight of the sleep threatening to take over him, they were in enemy territory and he had to be awake in case something unexpected happend

'Cleaning the small ones is gonna be a drag...hm? Oh, seems like they are making a run for it after their big guy is gone'

All the better, he could now rest for some time before they all retreat back onto human land

An hour or so later YuJu finally got up, laid Ellis on the dragon and prepared to leave

"?"

That is until he sensed a pair of eyes locked onto him, hateful and despising

Tracing the gaze he noted a small hole had opend up in the big hairless ball's body, from which the pair of eyes suited back inside

"Go get it"

He ordered the Witness and it went ahead in stealth, merely taking a few second to come back with two little fuballs in hand

The little fellows looked like they were newborns, one was lively and struggling with all its tint power while the other was...

"Dead? Hmm, could these have been newborns nursing inside that thing?"

Which meant it was a mother

'Could have been a father too, or a nursery, there are races with multiple genders to achieve multiple phases of reproduction'

Not that it was imordant, this race would be wiped out soon enough and any information about them would be usless afterwards

"Mi mi mi! Mi mi!"

The little furball protested at its treatment with more struggling, brining to hos notice the little horn on its forehead

"Isn't this...oh, I see now"

It all made sense when these two came out

'So that guy never lied huh, the creatures we fought must have been dead when the fellow came to fight, leaving the semi grown newborns who he described as twins of natural disaster to take its place'

YuJu's plans were all about fighting these two how had high attack capability but low defense, after all he knew puncturing power was not his suit

Now that he looked at the little cutie he felt regretful, wishing he could have waited for the big oaf to die before he took on the smaller and much easier targets

'What's done is done, plus Ellis benefited from this venture, not to mention these little furballs who I could put to use'

He just happend to be lacking newborns with potential for the guilds, the dead one could act as Anput's shadow too

"All is well, let's go back"

With a final look at the land YuJu borded the dragon's back and rode off with the rest
