Manaless Mage

 Harry, seeing this chance, didn't hesitate to take advantage of it. 

   Stretching one of his hands forward again, he immediately activated another skill. 

   "Wind Blade!" He shouted, three wind blades forming in front of his palms almost instantly before shooting towards the bear at astonishing speed.

   As for where he aimed for, it was the two small horns on the head of the bear!

    Within the blink of an eye, the wind blades closed in on the two horns, however, to Harry's surprise, the blades didn't manage to slice them off, only making a small dent on them. 

Growl!!

   The black bear growled in pain, as the shocks from its horn being hit caused shocks to run through its body. 

   It immediately turned to the direction the attack came from, and seeing only Harry, it let out a loud roar of anger. 

   'Shit! Rather than slice off its horns, it only made it more annoyed! Just great!' He thought sarcastically, with a slightly frown on his face.

   He had already expected the bear's horns to be tough and thick, but he hadn't expected it to be so thick that even three wind blades wouldn't be able to alive them off.

   Though the wind blades were only at their normal power since he didn't boost them with his energy, they were still very powerful!

   'Maybe I should have used wind slash instead.' Harry thought, letting out a low hiss.

   By now, his wounds had completely healed and except for his claw mark tear on his top, there was no sign of injury on his body.

   Meanwhile, the bear immediately charged at him once more, the small horns on its head glowing even brighter!

Roarrr!!!

   It let out a loud roar, before swinging one of its large claws towards Harry, in order to squat him away, just like it did before.

   But this time, Harry had already expected this. It was even easy for him to predict, with how simple and mindless the mana beast attacks had been.

   If not that it was a lot faster and stronger than he was, fighting it wouldn't be as hard as it was, but then, he couldn't really complain.

   Harry gritted his teeth, hurriedly harnessing more energy into his legs and eyes, in order to follow the beast's speed.

   His eyes glowed brighter with a bright blue colour, and the tiny dots of gold and white moving around in his pupils shined more, as he redirected more energy into his eyes.

   This caused the beast's movements to slow down in his eyes, and due to the huge boost he got in his agility, he was able to follow the mana beast's movements.

   He swiftly dodged to the side, causing the bear's deadly claws to miss him, smashing against the hard ground instead.

Bam!

   The sheer force behind the attack caused the ground to cave in, and deep cracks appeared on the surface.

   Harry felt a chill run down his spine as he sensed the tremendous strength behind that attack. Memories of the pain he felt the last time he got hit by that attack flashed in his mind, making him gulp hard with fear at the idea of getting hit by that again.

   The thought only lasted for a second in his mind, before he brought his focus back to the huge black bear in front of him.

   Pulling one of his hands backwards, Harry quickly used another skill of his. 'Lightning Ball!' 

   Instantly, blue sparks of lightning appeared around his palms, rapidly forming into a medium sized ball that crackled dangerously with lightning.

   Thrusting his hand forward, Harry immediately launched the ball of lightning towards the mana beast.

Blitzzzz!!!

   The attack blitzed through the air at astonishing speed, closing in on the chest of the huge black bear with full force.

   The force behind the attack pushed the bear backwards, causing its legs to stumble on the ground.

   The instant the lightning ball made impact against the mana beast, it exploded into tiny sparks of lightning, each spark traveling through the bear's body and electrocuting it.

   The bear grunted in pain, the pain from the sparks stinging it all over its chest.

   Just then, a set of notification unexpectedly flashed in the corner of Harry's eyes.

   Harry's lips curled into a slight smile when he saw the notifications that appeared in front of him.

   He hadn't actually expected [Energy control] to level up that fast, especially since it only just leveled up recently.

   However, it made sense, since he had been channeling his energy non-stop while engaged with the stage three black bear. 

   Seeing as the bear was still distracted by the shocks speeding through its body, Harry knew he couldn't lose this chance. 

   'And now, here's a chance!' Harry immediately jumped forwards, unwilling to let this opportunity slip by.

   Harnessing his energy, he moved some of it to his fists, coating them with a thin layer of energy. 

   Due to the level up of [Energy control], harnessing his energy became a lot more easier, and he even coated his hands with energy without realizing it. 

   'Rock Fists!' Immediately, a thick dense rocks formed above his fists, covering them snugly like a pair of boxing gloves.

   Putting all his strength in his arm, Harry immediately delivered a full-powered punch to the bear's chest with his right arm. 

Thwack!!!

   A dull sound resounded in the air, as Harry's fist collided against the bear's chest. 

    As Harry's fists connected with the bear's chest, one thing he noticed was that a small 'splash' of energy left his fist, before slamming into the mana beast's chest, the force sending it flying.

Thud!

   The mana beast flew in the air for a few seconds, before it came crashing down onto the ground with a thud sound, causing dust to rise up in the air. 

   'What is… that?' Harry mumbled inwardly, with his eyes widened in shock. He definitely felt it… a small amount of energy left his fist and then slammed against the beast's chest. 

   Was this a new use of his energy he just learned…? He wondered, before turning his gaze back to the black bear that laid sprawled out on the ground. 

   However, what surprised him the most was that the trait of the stage three beast had been completely shut down… no it wasn't just that.

   With his mana sense, he could tell that the mana in the bear's body had been completely 'frozen' and wasn't flowing anymore!
