Madam’s Identities Shocks the Entire City Again

Wei Qi’s cell phone rang. He drunkenly took it out of his pocket and saw that it was Wei Ling calling. Annoyed, he snapped, “Calling me so late at night, what a bother!”

At this point, a nice, low voice sounded in front of him. “Who is Wei Qi?”

Someone nudged him. “Young Master Wei, someone’s looking for you.”

“It’s a girl.”

Wei Qi looked up while still heavy-headed. He saw a figure in a hoodie and jeans, but the casual clothing did not mask the imposing wild aura. The girl looked pretty young, probably 18 or 19 years of age, and she had a really pretty face. Her eyes were dark and her hands were in her pockets as she leaned against the wall.

Wei Qi’s eyes were glued to her. He ignored the ringing of his cell phone and smiled with ill intention. After whistling at her, he called out, “Beautiful girl, looking for me?”

“You’re Wei Qi?”

Qiao Nian found her target in this group of people, and her gaze landed on his hand. She took her hands out of her pockets and laughed as her eyes lit up slightly—she looked glamorous laughing like that. Everyone’s attention was drawn to her.

She started walking towards him as she said clearly, “Punch you!”

Before anyone could react, Qiao Nian had already walked towards the dazed man while rotating her wrists in preparation. Soon enough, they heard an agonizing scream and saw the pampered Young Master Wei on the ground. His hand covered his mouth, and it could be seen that his front teeth had fallen out.

Qiao Nian didn’t let him off just then. She punched him over and over as if wanting to kill him.

Soon, passersby started crowding around.

Wei Qi’s men were in utter shock by what they were witnessing.

“Damn, what’s going on…”

“What are you waiting for, drag her away.”

Wei Qi was already running out of breath from being beaten constantly. He barely had the time to inhale and catch his breath. And still, despite his yelling out in pain, none of his men stepped forward.

Some passersby did find something amiss and hurriedly made a police report.

At the Shen Family’s home.

Wei Ling called Wei Qi eight times in a row, but not a single call was picked up. She couldn’t help but feel annoyed.

“Why isn’t he picking up? Wei Qi would usually pick up by now no matter his wilfulness.” Wei Ling paced about the living room frustratedly.

Seeing how annoyed she looked, Qiao Chen reminded her softly, “Aunt, do you have the contact numbers of Young Master Wei’s friends? Do you want to give his friends a call instead?”

Wei Ling’s brows had been locked this whole time. She rarely was this frustrated and flustered. Upon hearing Qiao Chen’s suggestion, she raised a brow and glanced at her.

Her glance made Qiao Chen so tense, she clenched her fists tightly.

Fortunately, it was just a glance and not a glare. Wei Ling pursed her lips and began making calls again.

This time it probably wasn’t Wei Qi’s number she was calling. The call got through very quickly.

“Where are you guys? Is Wei Qi with you? Get him to return my call.” Wei Ling spoke quickly and impatiently.

Qiao Chen wondered whether she should find an excuse to leave and practice the piano. That was when she heard Wei Ling yell at the top of her lungs. “What? Wei Qi got beaten up? Who did it!”

Wei Qi had been beaten up? Qiao Chen looked up. A strange thought flashed in her mind, but she chased it out of her head, considering how ludicrous it was.

She had bumped into Qiao Nian earlier this afternoon. It couldn’t be her.
