The VIP wards of the hospital were all on the top floor of the hospital and the corridors were usually quiet, with a few nurses passing by occasionally.

Yan Jinyi pushed the door and entered, only to see Zhao Xinchen lying on the hospital bed.

He was leaning on the edge of the bed with an arm in a cast and his hair all messed up. He seemed haggard and disheveled too.

There was a middle-aged man standing beside him with a document in hand and reading something in a robotic voice. When he saw Yan Jinyi approaching, the middle-aged man was obviously displeased.

"Sister Jinyi, you're here. Please take a seat," Zhao Xinchen said, pointing to the sofa.

As soon as Yan Jinyi sat down, Zhao Xinchen immediately stopped smiling and glared at the middle-aged man in annoyance. "Continue."
