"Good morning, Master Vincent," the maid greeted him as soon as he stepped into his mansion. Her voice was warm and respectful, echoing through the spacious foyer.

"It's quite late, but thank you," he greeted her back.

He then made his way towards the bedroom, his steps deliberate and unhurried. As he reached the door, he gently turned the knob, allowing it to swing open with a soft creak.  His smile widened as he fully entered his room and caught sight of Sophia peacefully sleeping in the luxurious Texas King size bed.

He admired her serene beauty, even in her tired state, realizing that she must have waited for him to return. The fatigue evident in her eyes touched his heart, knowing that she had stayed up for his arrival.

Careful not to disturb her, he quietly approached the bedside and gently brushed a stray strand of hair from her face. He marveled at her resilience and unwavering support, even in the face of the dangers and uncertainties that came with his dangerous lifestyle.

"I should just let her sleep" he muttered under his breath. He decided not to wake her, recognizing the importance of her rest and knowing that they would have plenty of time to catch up when she wake up. Instead, he found solace in the knowledge that she was safe, at peace, and by his side.

"I'll come back to you after I'm done, " He stepped out onto the balcony, the cool night air gently caressing his face as he reached for his phone. He needed to make a call to someone he considered important, someone whose counsel and support he valued greatly.

Dialing the familiar number, he waited patiently as the phone rang on the other end. The faint sound of wind and the soft rustling of leaves provided a soothing backdrop to his thoughts.

Finally, a voice answered on the other line.

"Hello, Brother Vincent," came the warm and reassuring voice of Evangeline ."Why did you call?"

He took a moment to gather his thoughts, contemplating how to best explain the situation.

"I think I just killed a Rank S supernatural being," he blurted out, a mix of uncertainty and disbelief evident in his voice. He was planning to word it in a proper manner but he decided that it was too much of a hassle.

"Are you sure ? " her voice held a tinge of doubt as she processed his revelation. Although she valued his power highly, the idea of him successfully killing a Rank S individual with a domain seemed impossible. Being a possessor of a "Movable Domain" herself, she understood the immense difficulty in eliminating someone with such power.

"I can't say for certain," he responded, his voice tinged with uncertainty. "I woke up, and the woman I was fighting had vanished. But it doesn't make sense for her to leave me alive without a reason."

Evangeline's voice turned serious as she pressed for more information.

"You mean you can't remember anything?" she asked with concern. Vincent's newfound strength, should have made it difficult for someone to erase his memories, especially with the medallion's protection.

"That's right. I have no memory of what happened, so I'm at a loss." he replied.

"Could you please provide me with more information about her abilities?" she inquired, her voice filled with curiosity.

"She can control statues and..." he replied, his words flowing as he began to explain the extent of the woman's powers. He delved into the intricacies of her abilities, describing how she could animate stone sculptures, bringing them to life under her command. The statues would obey her every whim, and become formidable foes that can spawn almost infinitely.

Evangeline's mind raced as he described the woman's power to control statues. A name slipped from her mind, as she recognized the identity behind the woman. "Emilia," she muttered, her voice tinged with surprise.

She had been aware of Emilia's connection to Fenrir long before his demise, but she hadn't expected her to ascend to Rank S. While she was aware that Emilia had transformed into a supernatural entity, she had assumed her powers were relatively modest, thereby never deeming it necessary to establish contact with her.

But this time, things seemed to have taken an unexpected turn.

She couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement as she listened to Vincent's story. A knowing smile graced her lips as she realized the significance of Emilia's presence. The discovery of another S-Rank supernatural being aligned perfectly with her plans, offering a wealth of advantages and opportunities. The thought of joining forces with Emilia sent a surge of anticipation through her.

Her mind raced with plans and strategies as she considered how best to approach her. She understood the delicacy of the situation and the importance of forging a strong bond with someone of such power and influence.

But putting aside her thoughts for the moment, she refocused on the task at hand. She gently redirected Vincent's attention, reminding him of the importance of his next mission. She knew that their immediate goals demanded his complete dedication and focus.

"For now, let's set aside the thoughts of that woman," she suggested, her voice gentle but firm. "You must concentrate on your next mission, Brother Fenrir. You have important tasks ahead of you."

"Alright," Vincent understood the wisdom in her words and the need to remain focused.  He ended the call after talking with her about more important matters.

With his mind now free from distractions, he moved with gentle steps towards the cozy ambiance of their shared bed. He gently nestled himself in bed beside Sophia, his actions filled with tenderness and affection. He pressed a soft kiss against her forehead, a gesture that spoke volumes of his love for her. Wrapping his arms around her, he held her close, cherishing the tranquility of the moment.

His regenerative powers allowed him to forego the necessity of sleep, yet he willingly indulged in the act for the sake of habit and the closeness it brought him to Sophia. It was a sacred ritual, a moment of break in his complicated world.

As Sophia stirred from her sleep, her eyes fluttered open, greeted by Vincent's presence and the warmth of his embrace. A contented smile graced her lips as she basked in the comfort of his body. No words were exchanged, for in that serene moment, silence spoke volumes.

With the knowledge that he had to leave for his mission, Vincent held her even tighter in his embrace, finding immense satisfaction in the precious moments they shared.

Alaska, a land of untamed beauty and rugged allure, stretched out before Vincent, captivating his senses with its frozen grandeur. The cold wind, sharp and biting, brushed against his face, carrying with it whispers of ancient tales and secrets held within its icy embrace.

As he surveyed the horizon, his eyes were met with a landscape seemingly frozen in time. Towering mountains, their peaks adorned with glistening snow and ice, reached towards the heavens, their majestic presence commanding respect. Crystalline glaciers, like frozen rivers, wound their way through the valleys, reflecting the ethereal glow of the sun's rays.

"Here is your coffee ,buddy "

Vincent's reverie was abruptly interrupted by a familiar voice, jolting him back to the present. He turned around to find Nathan, standing there with two cups of steaming hot coffee in his hands. A warm smile spread across his face as he welcomed his best friend .

"Thank you, Nathan!" He smiled, his voice filled with genuine delight. He eagerly reached out to take one of the cups, feeling the warmth radiating through the ceramic. The rich aroma of coffee enveloped his senses, adding a comforting touch to the crisp Alaskan air.

Nathan came her to deliver the custom-made clothing that Vincent had requested for Evangeline. These specialized garments were designed to seamlessly merge with his body during his transformative moments, ensuring that he would no longer be left exposed or vulnerable after undergoing his extraordinary metamorphosis.

"Are you sure you're okay with coming along, Nathan?" Vincent asked, his voice laced with genuine concern.

Nathan, brimming with newfound confidence, couldn't help but grinned in satisfaction with his recent progress.

"Come on, buddy," he boasted, a glimmer of pride evident in his eyes. "I've become really strong, you know? Master William even called me a genius! I've even surpassed your own records."

Vincent couldn't help but chuckle, knowing his friend's tendency to boast. However, he was determined not to let Nathan have the upper hand.

"Oh, really?" he retorted playfully, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "Well, you might be in for a shock when you see just how strong I've become."

Nathan's curiosity was piqued as he leaned in, eagerly awaiting Vincent's response.

"How strong are you now?" he asked, his eyes filled with excitement.

Vincent paused for a moment, relishing the opportunity to tease his friend. With a sly smile, he raised his arm in a comical gesture, pretending to demonstrate his immense strength.

"I can destroy a mountain with a single punch," he declared, his tone exaggerated for effect.

Nathan's eyes widened in disbelief, a touch of awe was evident on his face.

"For real?" he exclaimed, unable to hide his excitement.

Vincent couldn't hold back his laughter any longer, realizing he had successfully pulled Nathan into his playful joke.

"No, Nathan," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "I was just messing with you. But trust me, I can carry you like a princess to safety when you find yourself in danger"

"That's not very comforting," Nathan feigned being hurt, yet deep down, he was genuinely glad to engage in playful banter with his best friend once more.
