Lord Summoner's Freedom Philosophy: Grimoire of Love

165 Journey To The North (18) The Dwarven Temple

As Lyan approached the ancient temple, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. There were the remains of the dwarves' civilizations, a people who were known for their advanced technology and engineering skills. Lyan hoped that within the temple, he might find some leads on modern technologies, or even some knowledge about Earth within this fantasy world.

He paused at the entrance, glancing back at Tesha who stood outside with the winter wolves and the golems. He had left her there to protect her, not wanting to risk her safety within the temple. He knew that there were likely to be traps and hidden treasures within, and he didn't want Tesha to get hurt. But other than that reason, he does not want to have something that might distract his focus in his search for the clues about earth.

Yes. The real reason for Lyan's journey to the north is to search for the mysterious temple that was said to be the remains of the dwarven era. It was said that only those who dares to challenge the north in the winter would be able to arrive at the place.

"And now I'm arrived, huh..." (Lyan)

With a determined look on his face, Lyan stepped through the entrance and into the temple. As he made his way through the corridors, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the intricate carvings and decorations that adorned the walls. It was clear that the dwarves had been a highly skilled and advanced civilization, and Lyan couldn't wait to see what else the temple had to offer.

As Lyan explored deeper into the temple, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and curiosity. He knew that there were likely to be hidden treasures and ancient technologies within the temple, and he was determined to uncover as much as he could.

He made his way through the winding corridors, his senses on high alert as he searched for any clues or hints of what might lie ahead. And as he explored, he began to notice something strange. There seemed to be a faint hum in the air, a low vibration that he couldn't quite place.

He paused, tilting his head as he tried to discern the source of the noise. And then, in an instant, he knew. It was the sound of traps, and ancient mechanisms that had been set to protect the temple's treasures.

Lyan's heart raced as he realized the danger he was in. He knew that these traps could be deadly, and he had to be careful if he wanted to avoid them.

But he was not one to back down from a challenge, and he was determined to find the treasures that lay within the temple. So he pressed on, his wits and skills at the ready as he searched for a way to bypass the traps.

He came across a room filled with paintings, each one depicting a different technology or invention. Lyan's heart raced as he studied the paintings, trying to figure out how they worked and what they were for.

And then, in the corner of one of the paintings, he noticed something strange. It was a small symbol, a series of lines and dots that seemed to be out of place.

Lyan's curiosity was piqued, and he knew that this had to be a clue. He examined the symbol closely, trying to decipher its meaning. And then, in a moment of insight, he realized what it was. It was a map, a guide to the hidden treasures within the temple.

Excitement coursed through Lyan's veins as he realized what he had found. He knew that this map would lead him to the hidden treasures, and he was determined to follow it to the end.

He made his way through the corridors, following the map as it led him deeper into the temple. And as he explored, he came across more and more traps, each one more deadly and intricate than the last.

But Lyan was not one to be deterred. He used all of his skills and wits to bypass the traps, using his magic to disarm them and his cunning to find his way around them.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Lyan came across the treasure room. It was a large, lavish chamber filled with gold, jewels, and ancient technologies. Lyan's heart raced as he gazed upon the treasure, knowing that this was exactly what he had been searching for.

"This is... Unbelievable..." Lyan uttered in admiration of the sight.

As Lyan reached the treasure room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of triumph and accomplishment. He had successfully navigated the temple's traps and unlocked the secrets of the map symbol, and now he stood before the treasures he had been searching for.

But his elation was short-lived, as suddenly a group of fantastical monsters emerged from the shadows, guarding the treasures. Lyan's heart raced as he realized he was in for a fight. The creatures were unlike any he had ever seen before, tall and muscular with thick black scales covering their bodies. Their eyes glowed red with malice, and they let out a deafening roar as they charged toward Lyan.

(They're as strong as the goblin king's men, or even stronger!) (Lyan)

Lyan quickly assessed the situation, noting the formation of the enemies as well as their abilities, and formed a plan of action. He ordered Hobu the Shadow Goblin Lord, a powerful creature he had summoned to help him on his journey, to take the lead and engage the monsters in battle. Hobu leaped forward, brandishing its swords and summoning its own shadow servants to aid it in the fight.

As the Shadow Goblin Lord clashed with the monsters, Lyan ordered his own summoned shadow servants to flank the enemies and attack from the sides. The shadow servants that could move quickly and strike from the shadows, quickly complied and began to harry the monsters with quick, precise strikes.

The battle was intense, with both sides exchanging blows in a flurry of sword and claw. The monsters were powerful, but Lyan's summoned creatures were also formidable opponents. Hobu was a skilled warrior, wielding its swords with deadly precision, while the shadow servants were quick and agile, darting in and out of the shadows to strike at the monsters' weak points.

Lyan fought alongside his summoned creatures, using his own skills and magic to aid them in battle. He cast spells to disorient the monsters and weaken their defenses, while also using his sword to strike at their vulnerabilities. The creatures fought fiercely, but Lyan and his summoned creatures were able to hold their own.

The battle raged on, with neither side able to gain the upper hand. But Lyan was determined to emerge victorious. He ordered his shadow servants to focus their attacks on the monsters' leader, a towering creature with a massive axe. The shadow servants obeyed, darting in and out of the shadows to strike at the creature. Lyan himself focused his own attacks on the leader, using his magic and sword to weaken its defenses and strike at its vital points.

Finally, after a grueling battle, Lyan and his summoned creatures emerged victorious. The monsters lay defeated on the ground, and Lyan breathed a sigh of relief. He turned his attention to the treasures, marveling at the gold, jewels, and ancient technologies that lay before him. He knew that these treasures would provide him with valuable information and knowledge about the fantasy world, as well as help him on his quest to uncover the truth about Earth.

He began to explore the room, marveling at the riches that lay before him. There were ancient technologies that he had never even seen before, and he knew that they would be invaluable to his new life.

But as he explored, he couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness as well. It was clear that the dwarves had faced many challenges and struggles in their time, and Lyan couldn't help but wonder what had happened to them. Where had they gone? And why had their civilization fallen?

Despite his sadness, Lyan was determined to continue his journey. He knew that there was still much to learn and discover within the temple, and he was determined to uncover as much as he could.

As Lyan explored the treasure room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and wonder. The ancient technologies and inventions that he found were unlike anything he had ever seen before, and he knew that they would be invaluable to his quest.

But despite his excitement, he couldn't shake the feeling of disappointment that weighed on him. He had come to the temple hoping to find some leads about Earth, some clue or hint as to what had happened to his home. But so far, he had found nothing.

He couldn't help but wonder if he had been foolish to hope, if he had been chasing a dream that was nothing more than a pipe dream.

"What am I even doing here?" he thought to himself as he examined a strange device that seemed to be some kind of generator. "But well, I guess this will be my true farewell with the thought of returning to earth,"

Lyan slowly put the strange device down and uttered to himself before taking a deep breath as a new resolution gathered inside his eyes.

"Time to live in the present," (Lyan)
