Carter paced back and forth, consumed by worry that gnawed at his core.

The moment his competitors got hold of the fish oil derived from the mysterious white fish, it would undoubtedly bring dire consequences for his company. Questions swirled in his mind, "What course of action should we take? and How can we handle this situation? "

His thoughts raced, desperately searching for countermeasures to prevent his opponents from obtaining the valuable fish oil. Yet, despite his anxious brainstorming, a viable solution eluded him. Helplessly, he let out a sigh, acknowledging the possibility that it might be too late, that they had received the news too belatedly to intervene.

Meanwhile, Walter Jeff likely had already finalized the cooperation details with the Global Shipping Group, perhaps even signing a formal contract—the weight of the situation pressed upon Carter, leaving him feeling powerless and overwhelmed.

Sitting alone in his boss's chair, a solemn expression draped across his face, Carter sighed intermittently.

-Hush!

-Tok! Tok!

Time passed, and a knock on the door disrupted his heavy thoughts about the company.

It was Gobert who entered with a cheerful demeanour, exuding an air of excitement as if carrying momentous news.

"Boss, I have incredible news, and it will definitely surprise you", Gobert burst out, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. "I've just learned that the negotiations between Walter Jeff and the Global Shipping Group have collapsed. They failed to reach an agreement or sign any contracts."

-Boom!

A surge of astonishment washed over Carter, his body jolting upright from the chair. He questioned Gobert in an incredulous tone, unable to believe what he had just heard, "Is this news really true? Did they really failed to reach an agreement or failed to sign any contracts?"

Gobert replied with unwavering certainty, "Absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt."

-Whoa!

Relief flooded through Carter, transforming his sombre countenance into one beaming with hope and renewed determination. "This is an incredible opportunity for us. If we can secure the deep-sea fish oil, we can surpass our competitors and defeat them entirely."

Carter's ambition surged forth, cutting through the previous disappointment and solemnity like a ray of light piercing the darkness.

"Here's the plan: you need to head to the Global Shipping Group immediately." He paused for a moment, then added with heightened urgency, " For more convenience, We'll go together for this matter. Arrange plane tickets as soon as possible, or even charter a flight. Speed is of the essence as we really need to contract Global Shipping Group."

"Okay, I'll make the arrangements right away," Gobert acknowledged promptly.

Meanwhile, at the Global Shipping Group, Liu Yong remained unperturbed, his mood undisturbed by the recent departure of Walter Jeff and his team.

Hu Shijun cautiously voiced his thoughts, "Brother Yong, aren't you disappointed that Walter Jeff and his team left? After all, it was a billion-yuan business opportunity."

-HAHA!

Liu Yong chuckled, exuding confidence in his response. "Do I look like a someone who would be burdened by loass of 800-billion-yuan worry? Remember, we hold the upper hand in the market. There's no need to fret about selling our products. Just wait and see; they will come knocking on our door."

Liu Yong understood the situation's essence, even if Walter Jeff failed to grasp it. Regardless of their companies' global stature, they could only acquire this particular fish oil from the Global Shipping Group.

Witnessing Liu Yong's unwavering conviction, Hu Shijun relaxed and joined in the laughter, feeling a sense of reassurance.

Approximately ten minutes later, Qiu Yang entered the room, a joyous expression adorning his face. "Boss, your prediction was spot on. Someone has arrived at our doorstep. Mr. Kanter, the president of Diya Company, who will personally lead a team to visit us. They will be here early tomorrow morning."

The term "visit" was a polite euphemism, disguising the fact that they intended to engage in in-depth discussions regarding the cooperation on the deep-sea fish oil.

Liu Yong waved his hand dismissively and said, "Excellent. Extend them a warm welcome. Take care of the necessary arrangements and neccessary receptions."

Meanwhile, with their plane tickets in hand, Walter Jeff and his team were scheduled to depart from Huahai International Airport at 4:30 in the afternoon. Hastily packing their belongings, they aimed to check out of the hotel and reach the airport by three o'clock.

Initially, Walter Jeff had planned to report the situation to the president of Melpark and the esteemed Mr Melpark upon his return. However, realizing he had some spare time, he decided to make a call to his superior, the president of Melpark, to provide a brief update on the morning's events.

The news shattered their hopes. Bell Vinson, the president of Melpark, expressed disbelief, "How did this happen? Even if the price were $5,000 per kilogram, we could still consider it."

Walter Jeff held firm, dismissing the idea as too absurd, a price that reached astronomical heights. He reassured Bell Vinson, "Don't worry, we are a formidable corporation with substantial demand for this deep-sea fish oil. Eventually, the Global Shipping Group will come to us."

Belvinson could only sigh in response, accepting the situation they faced.

After ending the call, Belvinson promptly reported the developments to Mr Melpark. Soon after, the elder Mr Melpark called in anger, unleashing a harsh reprimand upon Walter Jeff, nearly labelling him an imbecile.

Mr Melpark insisted on a quick visit to the Global Shipping Group, urging Walter Jeff to negotiate and order dozens of tons, even if the price per kilogram reached $5,000.

Chastened, Walter Jeff had no choice but to comply. He dialled the Global Shipping Group number, only to learn that Liu Yong was currently absent from the office. Thus, the matter would need to be addressed the following day.

The following morning, Liu Yong arrived at the company early. As he entered his office, Qiu Yang swiftly approached with a report, "Boss, Mr Kanter and his team have been waiting for at least half an hour."

"Oh, they arrived ahead of schedule," Liu Yong remarked, mildly surprised but sensing the urgency from the other party, indicating their determination to secure control over the deep-sea fish oil supply chain.

Amidst the unexpected turn of events, Liu Yong couldn't help but smile meaningfully, recognizing the impending spectacle.
