'It's now or never.' Roy closed his eyes, letting harbingers of death close up on him, as he took into consideration what he had been through and focused on creating what could annihilate them and, an instant later, raised his sword above his head. Several dozens of strands of visible black aura gushed out of his palms along with an equal number of black streaks of lightning, all traveling up the surfaces of his weapons, Reflection and Sword Chaser, gathering at their tips, swirling and intertwining, shaping into a roar that this world has never heard.

When the fierce stream and the knights reached 17 feet and 15 feet away from him, respectively, Roy opened his eyes, lightning cracking in them, making him look all the more overpowering.

"Have a taste of this! Roars of the thundering swords!" Roy shouted out as he swung his swords downwards, and as he did so, a wave of inky darkness gushed out of each of their tips, painting the fabric of reality black.

"Unbelievable!"

Not just Arlo and the people around him, but even the horned serpent's eyes opened beyond the size of saucers, threatening to pop out of their sockets.

The fucking space itself was being used as a canvas to draw out the physical manifestation of roars of thundering swords!

Boom! It thundered as the lightning of the same color bloomed out of the inky waves of darkness.

'It's as if the empire's sword saint has swung its sword, causing cherry blossoms on a cold, lonely mountain covered in snow.' Arlo gaped.

He would be a fool to miss this scene.

Life was blooming out of nothing here! And that's what the fourth awakening of his soul shard was all about - Rebirth!

At this scene, the twins' and Julian's jaws widened so much that they threatened to drop to touch the ground.

Amelia's red eyes glowed. Her heart was fluttering. Delilah's breathing quickened. It wasn't wrong to say that she was feeling a thing for Roy for real now.

The horned serpent let out a monstrous roar as it charged toward Roy, completely unaware that the latter not only got the monstrous stamina to engage a woman in a fierce war in bed for 3 weeks straight but also a stamina restoration breathing method. So to say, he wasn't tired at all.

The winged serpent lunged at him again, and this time, Roy sidestepped its attack by a hairsbreadth before thrusting his swords inside it through the huge gash on its guts.

『Ding! The horned serpent has lost 100 HP. It's on its last breath.』

"Just drop dead already." Roy cursed it to die as he pushed out his sword, causing blood to splatter out of its wounds again. It thudded to the ground, its curled tail dropping behind him and the rest of its body dropping in front of him.

"If I am going down, I will drag you to hell with me!" Breathing hollowly, the horned serpent that was clearly near death's door threatened Roy like a poisonous bitch.

A foreboding feeling assaulted Roy, and he suddenly felt immense fluctuations taking place in the mana present in a spot close to him.

"Look out!" The eyes of the onlookers trembled as they saw it lunging towards his unguarded back again.

It turned out that it had activated its innate ability, and its head switched places with its tail that was just behind Roy.

It opened its jaw wide and lunged towards Roy one last time, hopping to swallow him whole, and he reverse-summoned his swords and let it eat him as he turned into his mist form. Its sharp teeth bit into it, but Roy didn't feel hurt.

『Ding! Your mist form was partially destroyed. You lost a few points of energy.』

『Remaining energy: 450』

Except for losing some points of energy, he didn't suffer any other loss as he went down its throat and straight towards his heart.

After reaching next to its red, thumping heart, Roy took out his swords once again, jamming one into it and using the other to slash it continuously.

Its heart was cut to pieces!
