He understood that the Abyss Emperor had truly started fearing his potential and was ready to kill him with his full strength.

In other words, if attacked by the Abyss Emperor this time, particularly with the Abyss Emperor unleashing his true power, Ling Xiaolong would undoubtedly meet his demise. There is no way he could escape alive at that time. There would be no means of evading death; not even taking refuge within his personal chaos could guarantee survival.

Not to mention, the Tree of the Abyss is also standing beside the Abyss Emperor.

Although he could come back to life again and again with the help of Supreme Rules as long as his Chaos, particularly its reflection in the outside world, is not destroyed or sealed completely, the pain he'll have to suffer, and the torment he would endure from the ceaseless destruction and regeneration of his body and soul would be unimaginable. That is why, he has to escape while he can. When he becomes strong enough to kill the Abyss Emperor, he'll come back for him.

Ling Xiaolong activated the Primordial Origin Bloodline to its fullest. Another layer of golden was layered upon the golden armor on his body. His golden eyes glowed brightly, as if they could see through all truth of the infinite darkness and were capable of annihilating the Cosmic Field.

A small, thin pillar of blue light shone in a straight line and started materializing into a structure.

Ling Xiaolong raised his hand and grabbed the small pillar of light which instantly materialized into a spear.

The moment the spear materialized, both the Abyss Emperor and the Tree of Abyss were startled, their souls seemingly shuddering. The aura emanating from the spear was utterly terrifying, suggesting its capability to pierce through all defensive layers of their bodies and annihilate their souls.

However, this was merely a sensation evoked by the appearance of the Void Shattering Spear.

Yes, the spear in Ling Xiaolong's hand was the Void Shattering Spear.

While Ling Xiaolong had just begun to face the Abyss Emperor, through his bond with the Void Shattering Spear, he felt that it had finally absorbed the Source Origin of the Eternal Fury Divine Spear fully, and completed its transformation. It had gone through several evolutions during this period and finally became an Ethereal Guardian-ranked weapon.

As the Abyss Emperor spoke, he took out a demonic blade. As the blade appeared, the surrounding darkness thickened. Dark fog started appearing, obviously the effect of the demonic blade. Moreover, it gave a frightening sensation to Ling Xiaolong.

"This is the Dark Abyss Blade, created from the Source of Mother Goddess and several materials born within the Dark Abyss Sea within her body. Although that spear of yours and my Dark Abyss Blade both are Low-leveled Ethereal Guardian-ranked weapons, my Dark Abyss Blade is still several times stronger than your weapon."

When the Void Shattering Spear completed its evolution, Ling Xiaolong got to know that it had also gained additional abilities. He was surprised and finally calmed down. He immediately thought of how to escape from the clutches of the Abyss Emperor and the Tree of the Abyss.

The Tree of Abyss was not physically present; it merely utilized its roots to help the Abyss Emperor. As Ling Xiaolong spoke, he erupted with his full strength. He even displayed the Power of his Chaos which was frightening enough to make him fight toe to toe with an Initial-leveled King of Abyss.

After all that, Ling Xiaolong thrust the spear forward, causing the space to distort and behave like a mirror, folding into several layers, completely separating him and the Abyss Emperor from each other for a few moments.

Everything happened in an instant and Ling Xiaolong knew he only had a few seconds to escape.

The Abyss Emperor was startled at first but he quickly regained his senses. He immediately understood that Ling Xiaolong had no plan to fight, he wanted to escape.

He immediately used his full strength and utilized the might of the Dark Abyss Blade to slash, cutting the distorted and folded space in half.

By now, Ling Xiaolong had already shattered the void by plunging the Void Shattering Spear into the space behind him, creating a dark rupture. Hastily, he leaped into the rupture, employing the Supreme Rule of Chaos to seal and subsequently mend the torn space before teleporting deeper.
