It’s Hard To Control My Naughty Wife!
838 I WANT A BABY
Amber really felt Happy when she heard how Kia looked very happy at her wedding. She didn't want anything else right now.
She smiled at Alia while holding her hand.
"Thank God... thank goodness she feels happy... mother also feels happy for her." Amber tried to wipe her tears roughly. "Then? Tell mom again what happened there…" Amber persuaded her.
Alia then told her mother that Mika changed her favorite pudding and now she preferred chocolate pudding over strawberry pudding.
"Is it true?" asked Amber with a beaming face. "Then?"
Alia finally told all the details about the wedding and how beautiful it was.
Meanwhile, Amber laughed, smiled and cried, because she couldn't witness the beautiful wedding and couldn't be there for her daughter.
"I think you just need to give Sis Kia time," said Alia. "And if that doesn't change what she believes in… I hope you guys can live with it."
Amber nodded, she couldn't say anything else. She no longer had the chance to correct her mistake, now that Kia had chosen to let them go.
She was neither vengeful nor angry, but she also no longer had any feelings for this family and that was much worse, because there were no more apologies needed and no more pain to heal.
Everything was gone together with those feelings.
"I hope that day will come…" Amber mumbled and then hugged Alia tightly. She took a deep breath. She hoped that this time she would be forgiven by her daughter.
Meanwhile, Alia didn't say anything and just hugged her mother back tightly, hoping that all of this would pass quickly.
==========================
Today was Mika's first day of school and she was so excited to wear the bag that Candice bought for her. It was specially designed just for her.
"Grandma! Look! I'm wearing the bag!" Mika exclaimed happily, showing Candice and Lexus her bag via video call, while the two of them were on holiday somewhere warmer and wouldn't be coming back until a week from now.
"Wow! Very beautiful! Mika got even cuter wearing that bag!" praised Candice enthusiastically, as well as Lexus. The two of them really spoiled Mika.
"I want to go to school first! Bye-bye!" Mika kissed the screen of the cell phone and made her grandparents laugh.
"Okay, take care and tell me how your first day at school was when you are back, okay?"
"Okay! Bye grandma! Bye grandpa!"
And after that, Kia talked to Candice and Lexus for a while before she turned off the video call and focused on Mika who seemed very active.
Today, Kia and Misha would accompany Mika for the first day at her new school. Now she had entered kindergarten and it seemed that instead of going to school, she was more enthusiastic because she was wearing her new bag.
"Uncle! Come on, let's go!" Mika exclaimed while tugging at Misha's arm, which made him want to cry.
So far, the relationship between Mika and Misha could be said to be very good, except for the nickname she used for Misha. It could be said that Mika was a typical daddy's girl, but this little girl calling Misha 'uncle', of course, was very disheartening for him.
Kia thought this matter would be resolved quickly, but it seemed their little girl had an excellent memory and was a bit stubborn.
Every time Kia asked why she didn't want to call Misha daddy again, Mika wouldn't answer and would just get busy with her toys before just saying that Misha had made her cry, so she was annoyed because of that.
After that, there was no further explanation about it.
"Be patient," said Kia while kissing Misha on the cheek so he would feel better after hearing how Mika called him.
"Of course," said Misha. "If I can get a kiss from you every time she calls me 'uncle', I think it is bearable."
Kia laughed when she heard that because she thought it was very cheesy, it was just that she didn't say it openly.
Lately, Kia had been smiling more and her doctor had also reduced the dose of medication she was taking. She looked like a new person and looked much more cheerful than Misha remembered.
All the way to school, Mika kept chattering about her bag.
"Uncle Richard! Look! I have a bunny bag!" She showed her rabbit bag to Richard who was driving.
"Wow, your bag is very beautiful, isn't it…" Richard commented cheerfully and this made Mika smile even wider.
Not only that, she also sang all the way to school and overwhelmed Kia and Misha when she started asking questions like children her age.
"My friend at the daycare before, has a little brother, I also want a little brother," said Mika randomly and this caught them off guard, because they were just talking about pandas. "Mommy, I want a baby brother…"
Misha cleared his throat when he heard the request. "You should have asked me if you wanted a little brother," Misha said, which distracted Mika from her mother.
"But, Mommy will be pregnant with a baby brother, a baby will come from Mommy's stomach," Mika said, confused. She had seen pregnant women before, so she knew that the baby came from the mother.
Meanwhile, Kia stared fiercely at Misha and warned him not to say anything and that fierce look actually looked sweet in Misha's eyes, which made him kiss Kia's cheek.
However, since this was done in front of Mika, naturally the reaction would be as usual. The little girl swiped Misha's kisses off her mother's cheek and then replaced them with kisses of her own.
"If you want a little brother, you have to let me and your mommy sleep alone. Mika has to start learning to sleep alone."
Mika frowned, she didn't like the idea. "Why is that? Won't my baby brother show up if Mika is there? But, if uncle is there, the baby will show up?"
"Because I will help mommy to make your baby brother."
Kia almost choked when she heard this and Richard almost hit the brakes when he heard this very shameless answer.
Sir! At least keep it PG!
Richard protested in his heart, while he could only cringe as he listened to the conversation between the father and daughter pair.
"I also want to help make the baby," said Mika, not wanting to be outdone.
"You can't, only adults are allowed to help make babies, if there are small children there, then the baby won't come."
Kia felt that her head spin while Misha kept ignoring all her attempts to make him stop talking. Richard wanted so badly to run this car at full speed so they could get to school much faster, but because of the traffic jam he couldn't go any faster than this.
"Why only adults?" asked Mika, tilting her head. "Then uncle Richard can also help mommy to make the baby?"
"No!" Misha shouted, but when he saw Mika who was surprised that she was yelled at, he immediately lowered his voice. "No... I mean, uncle Richard can't help mommy, only I can help mommy to make a baby sister for you."
Mika looked like she was about to cry because earlier Misha raised his voice. She started sulking at her mother. She hugged Kia tightly while giving Misha a sharp look.
"Then uncle can help my friend's mommy to have a baby too?" she asked and this gave Misha a headache while Kia burst out laughing.
It seemed Misha had just dug his own grave by encouraging Mika to discuss this matter in 'depth', while Mika had absolutely no idea what she had just done and seemed very clueless about all of this.
"No, of course not..." Misha felt utterly defeated. He no longer spoke and let Mika sing along with Kia, because he wanted her distracted.
Richard was trying to hold back his laughter.
It took ten more minutes before they arrived at Mika's new school.
"Bye mommy! Bye uncle!" Mika exclaimed as she ran into the classroom, she looked cheerful and excited and they hoped they would always be like that.
"I hope she will make a lot of friends," Kia muttered.
"She will have a lot of friends, she takes after you," Misha said, but this didn't make Kia happy.
"I didn't have many friends when I was in school," she informed him.
"You don't have many friends because you don't have time for them." Misha corrected her and then added. "For me, I don't need to have many friends, as long as I have people who will always be there for me, then one person is enough."
And so far, his cousin had been his only friend, Jayden, even though they were a few years apart in age.
"Yes, I think I agree with you on this," said Kia, while remembering Keira. She was the only friend who stood by her side when she was having a hard time and even now, they were still good friends.
And as the two of them were walking to the car, someone stopped them and it was someone Kia didn't expect at all. It was her father.
"Kia," Lyle called, approaching the two of them.
Kia thought she had made it clear that she didn't want to see them anymore, but here her father was.
It was just that, instead of feeling disappointed, Kia didn't feel anything, maybe because she had let go of everything, that was why she felt like this.
"Can we talk for a minute?" asked Lyle, he nodded at Misha to acknowledge him briefly.
