"Ok."

The doctor walked and left the military man and arrived at a room where doctors were conducting experiments on Alan.

The doctor ordered them to stop the experiment. They all stopped it.

Then the doctor ordered some guards to throw the boy outside.

The guy nodded and took Alan who was wearing a hospital robe with them and throw him in the forest near the laboratory.

Alan, woke up confused and surprised.

'Where am I? I was in the lab just a moment!'

Alan didn't know if it was a dream or reality but he was alive, so he walked deeper into the forest.

He pulled his cheek to check if it was a dream or reality. He realized that it was real but he was not happy.

He didn't emit any emotion as he was put in a room alone for 10 years. He didn't communicate with anyone. He didn't learn emotion instead he forget about it.

The expression he could only feel are surprise, confuse and fear as he felt every day.

And after walking for some time, he stumbled against a big dungeon. The dungeon area was covered with mist, making it hard for it to be discovered.

And then, he went inside, discovered manything and he felt inhuman pain.

"Arrrggghhh!!! I will not... give up!!"

Alan gain his willpower back when he looked back at his memories.

'Even if I have a 1% chance of living and gain more power then it is worth not to give up.'

I didn't give up. The hellish pain was nothing in front of me. I already spent 10 hellish years. The pain was only physical and spiritual but the pain I felt in 10 years was nothing in front of it.

Mental torture, physical torture, emotionally tortured, and spiritually tortured, I have got tortured by everything, just for power.

"My parents, did they protect these humans who are too much greedy and selfish. Is humanity a piece of trash? No, humanity is not a piece of trash but it is totally trash. Selfish, greed, envy, power, they want everything. They don't care about others as long as it benefits them. I will never become like them even if I have to give up on being human.'

"No, I will not become human instead I will become a monster.  A monster that will kill anyone that will come in my way. From today, I Alan announce that I will never be a human."

I announced that gritting my teeth. The pain I have felt becomes bearable as I get used to that pain. And finally, after 30 minutes of enduring the hellish, inhuman pain, my body relaxed.

The pain left my body. The moment, the pain left my pain, I put my head on the ground and sleep. I lost my consciousness.

Right before, my whole surroundings blackout, I saw one thing.

"Hmm." I woke up. I looked here and there.

"Where am I?" I was confused as I just woke up and my mind was not clear.

"Oh yes, the pain-" I suddenly remembered yesterday's incident.

I quickly checked my body. There was no problem. I was relieved as well as happy. In the time of 10 years, today was the first time, I felt happiness.

I felt happy because-

"I finally become a player. I finally awoke my powers."

I could clearly felt the power. The mysterious energy flowing inside my body. Like my father said, when one becomes a player, they feel mysterious energy flowing inside them which makes them more energetic.

My body, which was on verge of death was also cured. I don't know how did it got cured. Was it that I awoke my power, or yesterday incident was responsible for it.

I clearly scanned my area. It was totally different from yesterday. There was no dungeon, no dead bodies, no blood, and no statues. There were only big trees.

"Stats."

Without caring about it, I tried to summon my stats window. Stats window is a system that gives us information about our power. My dad taught me that. To see one's stats window, they just have to call it.

A light suddenly covered my vision. I wasn't surprised as I was prepared for it. Then a huge holographic window appeared in front of my eyes.

Seeing the stats window does not make me relief but instead, it made me more confused.

"Why is my G-coin blank?"

G-coin is a currency of the player system. It is one of the most important things for a player. G-coin can use in many things. G-coins are filled with mysterious energy and people could create different equipment from it as well as magical items. Players could exchange G-coins with real currency.

G-coin is very rare and hard to obtain. A single G-coin is earned by killing an A-rank monster. But even killing an A-rank monster, has a 20% chance of getting 1 coin. Only by killing an SS-rank monster, one can earn G-coin as it has 100% chance of obtaining one coin. That's why one single G-coin is equal to 100,000$ dollars.

My parents told me that 30 years earlier, an apocalyptic event occurred which killed more than 1 billion people and a new magical world took its place. After that, people with magical power who are termed as players appeared.

They killed monsters. The monster who resides in the dungeon and some magical places, and occasionally come out whenever a dungeon break or magic over-limit occurs.

From the info I obtained from the doctor, hearing their conversation. I got that, now SSS-rank dungeon and SS-rank players are appearing. The whole world has changed much more.

"Why is my G-coin empty? According to my parents, a newly awaken player gets 1 G-coins as their awaken bonus." I sighed.

I wasn't that depressed nor excited. I just clicked on G-coin storage skill to check if it works even if my G-coin is empty.

G-coin storage is an F-rank skill that every player has. It is a basic skill that stores G-coin when they obtain one and withdraw it when they need it. No one knows, why is this skill given to them as there are many people who couldn't kill the powerful monsters and earn G-coins.

A bright light shined before my eyes as a single G-coin floated in front of me. I grabbed it and looked at it. The G-coin was a gold coin that shines brightly.

I was confused.

"How did I gain this coin?"

After pondering for a while, I gave up and again tried. This time I put 100 on <amount> and clicked on <Enter>.

And 100 G-coin floated in front of my eyes. My face soon bloomed into a smile. The feeling which I never felt in 10 years, I felt now. Happy, Excited, and Fun.

Then I started to walk out of the forest. I walked for a while and reached the end of the forest in 10 minutes.

I got out of the forest. I looked in front and saw a huge city. The city was covered with huge walls. There was no entrance as it indicated it was the back of the city.

I walked around and reached in front of the city entrance. There was a big sign written, "Novice-Hunter City". And just below the sign were two people who were guarding the place.

I could sense their aura. They were more powerful than me for the moment.

I entered the city wearing a white hospital robe. I passed by the guards. They didn't do anything to me. They just looked at me strangely.

I ignored their gaze and just walked inside the city. The city was bustling with people. There were many huge buildings and some small shops. Many players wearing defensive suits, carrying swords, staff, bows, daggers, etc were walking.

I didn't care as I went inside one of the buildings. The building was huge. The building was painted with blue color and there was a money sign at the top of the building. It was none other than a bank.

I wanted to exchange my G-coins with real money, so I went inside the bank. The bank had no security guards. The first floor was filled with different kinds of ATM machines.

Most of the machines were used in withdrawing money from the Hunter card. A Hunter card is something a player receives when they join a hunter guild. There are mainly 5 types of the guild. Hunter, Adventure, Alchemy, Blacksmith, and Enchanter. They all have their respective cards, but since this city is called Novice-Hunter city, there are manly hunter guilds or hunter guilds members in this city.
