Each bloodline of the family clans was slightly different, but not every descendant would inherit that bloodline.

Jun Mohuang's biological father, Jun Liyuan, was Jun Yangfeng's third son. The Jun Family had a history of over 1,000 years, and the person with the purest and highest content of the Gold-Swallowing bloodline was also the most talented master of refining materials.

Jun Liyuan became a Nine-Star expert when he was just 18, becoming the first Nine-Star achiever in all of Huan Yun's history. This allowed the Jun Family to become the greatest family clan in Huan Yun.

Jun Yangfeng wanted his son to marry a princess to further solidify their top standing in the city, but Jun Liyuan refused.

With Jun Liyuan's death, the Jun Family lost a Nine-Star Expert overnight, and lost much of their overall power and authority. They went from being the top family clan to being out of even the top four.

They lost a beloved family member, and the family was in shambles. Jun Yangfeng blamed all of it on Jun Mohuang.

In Jun Yangfeng's eyes, she was a jinx to the family. If she weren't Jun Liyuan's biological daughter, he would've chased her out long ago.

How could someone like him possibly serve justice for Jun Mohuang.

Jun Mohuang could already guess that Jun Yangfeng would take the opportunity to punish her instead.
