“Slow… slow down!”

The Holy Fairy Maiden moaned tenderly as she hugged her snowy white arms around her chest with her eyes tightly shut as if she was enduring extreme pain.

“Endure the pain. The power of the curse is extremely stubborn, so I’ll have to further elevate my power output!” An Lin felt the dark power retreating and spreading through the Holy Fairy Maiden’s body with all its might, and there was even a mental-disruption power that was trying to further thwart his efforts.

“Release the Holy Maiden at once, you filthy beast!”

Mandel and Harris couldn’t hear the conversation between An Lin and the female fairy, but they could see the pained expression on the Holy Fairy Maiden’s face. They immediately charged toward An Lin as they thought he was performing some sort of evil ceremony.

“Piss off.” An Lin’s storage ring flashed and the two Gundams appeared.

Harris and Mandel’s breathing faltered as they stared at the two massive mechanical puppets that had suddenly appeared before them.

They were then each greeted by the sight of a massive silver palm flying toward them.

Splat! Splat!

The two holy rank powerful beings were both slapped into the ground yet again like a pair of cannonballs.

An Lin’s curse-expulsion had reached an extremely critical point. He had already forced the essence of the dark power into a certain spot within the Holy Fairy Maiden’s body. If he destroyed the curse within her body, there was a high probability of inflicting damage to her body. Hence, it would be best if he could force the power of the curse out of her body before exterminating it.

“Quick! Open your mouth, little fairy!” An Lin suddenly urged.

The Holy Fairy Maiden opened a pair of bright eyes upon hearing his instruction. Her eyes had returned to their original green color, so it was clear that the Divine Flame was extremely effective.

“Open your mouth! I have to expel the curse from your body through your mouth!” An Lin commanded again.

An embarrassed blush appeared on the Holy Fairy Maiden’s features, but she still obliged and opened her mouth shyly to reveal a cute, pink tongue nestled between a row of tiny, pristine teeth.

An Lin’s eyes focused on her mouth, and he once again increased the flame power output from his fingertip to force the curse from her body once and for all.

Perhaps it was due to a primal survival instinct, but in any case, the curse began to escape from the Holy Fairy Maiden’s mouth.

A black, wispy lizard dragon appeared in mid-air, causing the temperatures around it to fall drastically.

It was in desperate need of a host, and it immediately pounced upon An Lin!

“Trash.”

An Lin waved his hand, and the four Divine Flames instantly incinerated the curse!

The Holy Fairy Maiden crawled up in the palm of An Lin’s hand with a grateful expression on her face, and she bowed lightly to An Lin. “Thank you for expelling the curse from my body… you really are different from the other Giant Godfiends.”

“I’m not even a Giant Godfiend!” An Lin pursed his lips and said, “I’ll admit I’m here to obtain something, but I want to negotiate an exchange, not to just steal it outright. I’m here with a heart full of sincerity!”

The two Gundams returned to An Lin’s storage ring after beating the crap out of Mandel and Harris.

“Look around yourself. Aside from those two over there, I haven’t hurt anyone else!” An Lin pointed to all the guards on the ground.

The Holy Fairy Maiden had also clearly realized this. She did not know why a fight broke out between himself and the male fairies, but he had clearly tried to refrain from senseless slaughter.

With this in mind, an awkward and apologetic expression appeared on her face. “I’m sorry for jumping to conclusions, Mr. Giant. And I even killed your black praying mantis in a fit of rage… I… I’ll definitely repay you for my actions.”

Black praying mantis?

An Lin faltered slightly before a feigned expression of heartbreak appeared on his face. “Sigh… the black praying mantis was a brother who had been with me for many years… I had promised him before coming here that I would take him to explore all the wonders of the world… but it looks like I won’t be able to deliver on that promise now. It’s not your fault; we barged into the Divine Lake first after all… It’s all my fault for not taking better care of it…”

An Lin turned his face toward the sky as if to suppress tears.

The Holy Fairy Maiden opened her tiny mouth, but she didn’t know what to say.

This was the first time she had ever seen such a compassionate to a Giant Godfiend. She had initially thought that the black praying mantis would just be an underling or servant to him, she was not expecting the giant to have such a strong attachment to it!

That meant she had killed the giant’s brother with her own two hands… Even then, the giant still didn’t pin the blame on her. He even chose to save her life…

“I… I did something unforgivable. What should I do…”

The Holy Fairy Maiden pursed her tiny lips as she murmured to herself under her breath.

Right at this moment, An Lin brought out a second-grade spirit pill Wood Spring Pill from his storage ring.

“Here, this spirit pill has extremely potent regenerative effects and can also nurture your consciousness, so it’s extremely suitable for you in your current condition.” He passed the Wood Spring Pill to the Holy Fairy Maiden with a smile.

The Holy Fairy Maiden extended her tiny white arms and latched onto the pill that was half the size of herself with tears flashing in her green eyes. “I killed your brother, yet you’re giving me such a valuable pill…”

She looked up at the smiling An Lin, and she suddenly felt like this giant was so gentle and kind. He was as dazzling and warm as the spring sun. She could tell from the powerful life-force energy within the pill that this was definitely a divine pill! But now… the giant was giving it to her to help her recover from her injuries!

“Those are two different things. It was my fault for barging into the Divine Lake, so your reaction was understandable. Let’s negotiate a deal while you recover from your injuries,” An Lin proposed with a gentle expression.

The Holy Fairy Maiden nodded excitedly as she gnawed on the massive pill with her tiny little mouth, making her appear especially adorable.

“By the way, what’s your name, little fairy?” An Lin asked.

“My name is Tina. What’s your name?” the Holy Fairy Maiden replied as she gnawed on the spirit pill.

“My name is An Lin. And I’m really not some Giant Godfiend, I’m just a human who is a little larger than usual.” An Lin smiled.

“Ok, Giant An Lin!” Tina nodded adorably.

All the surrounding guards were rooted to the spot at the sight of their Holy Maiden conversing happily with the Giant Godfiend.

What was going on?

Weren’t they just engaged in an earthshattering battle? Why were they conversing like good friends now?

The most dumbfounded and indignant of all the guards were none other than Mandel and Harris.

They lay down on the ground like two dead fish with tears shimmering in their eyes.

Why had things progressed in such an unexpected direction? Was that earthshattering battle just an act?

Was that a divine pill that the Giant Godfiend had given to Her Majesty? Its regenerative effects were amazing!

They were injured too, why didn’t they get any…

They stared blankly as the most powerful being within the central city chatted joyously with a Giant Godfiend and heaved internal sighs of melancholy. They felt like they had probably not woken up yet and were still in a dream.

An Lin was quite glad that the black praying mantis had led him here.

It was all thanks to this “brother” that he was able to make a good impression on the Holy Fairy Maiden.

Next… it was time to negotiate a deal!

The Holy Fairy Maiden had powerful digestive and absorption abilities, so her injuries were almost fully recovered after consuming the Wood Spring Pill.

“I can feel that my life-force had increased by a great deal! Even my cultivation base, which hasn’t progressed at all in a very long time has improved by a tiny sliver!” the Holy Fairy Maiden exclaimed with a joyous expression.

“Fairies are most sensitive to life-force energy, so pills that are imbued with potent life-force energy, such as the one I gave you, are especially effective for you. Congratulations, Little Na,” An Lin congratulated with a smile.

The Holy Fairy Maiden faltered slightly before she pouted her tiny pink lips and stuck her hands on her hips. “How could you call me Little Na? I may be small, but I’m a fairy that has lived for over ten thousand years!”

An Lin’s eyes lit up as he looked at the Holy Fairy Maiden’s enraged display.

So cute.

How could a ten-thousand-year-old fairy be so cute!

Were all fairies adorable by nature?

Hmm, perhaps their tiny statures accentuated their cuteness. For example, Xiao Chou was plain ugly whenever he turned bigger, but he was adorably ugly when he was in his miniature form.

“Hmm… I’m a human who has lived for over twenty thousand years, so there’s no problem with me calling you Little Na.” An Lin smiled.

“Really?” The Holy Fairy Maiden’s blue eyes widened in shock.

“Of course. How else do you think I grew so big as a human? I grew up gradually over time!” An Lin nodded with a serious expression.

“That sounds like it makes sense…” The Holy Fairy Maiden nodded.

A pleased smile appeared on An Lin’s face. “Seeing as you’ve recovered from your injuries, let’s cut to the chase. I’m here for a certain item in the central city after all.”

The Holy Fairy Maiden nodded and replied, “Alright. Tell me what you want, and I’ll do my best to satisfy your request.”
