All the girls became startled when they heard Long Ming's words. In front of them, a bunch of rouge cultivators fighting against bandits. However, they couldn't go and help them.

Not to mention, as Four Seasons Valley is a women's sect, they have sympathy for the girl whose family got destroyed by bandits. But Long Ming stopped them as they watched the situation unfold.

" Senior Brother, Although the bandits are greater in numbers, if we help those rogue cultivators, we can naturally kill the bandits with ease." Chen Yin spoke,

Luo Yingying felt it was unnatural that Long Ming is not going forward and killing the bandits. A strange smile remained on Long Ming's face as he looked at Luo Yingying.

" Sister Luo, What do you think? Should we go?" 

Luo Yingying was startled when she heard the undertone of Long Ming's words.

' Why is he talking like that? Is there something hidden under the surface that we can't see?' Luo Yingying thought inwardly.

" Spirit Eyes!"

Luo Yingying's eyes flashed with a strange glint as she looked at the fighting once again. Suddenly, her expression turned different when she saw the girl crying for help.

" Strange… That girl, Although she appeared to be normal, her aura nd vitality is too strong. Not to mention, it's strange that she was still there, amidst the fight." Luo Yingying spoke.

" If she was really a weak mortal, shouldn't she escape first? Or hide in a safe distance? Not to mention, her voice… It feels somewhat, unnatural…" 

" Could it be… Charm technique?"

Everyone turned their head and looked at Chu Li, the weakest member among them. She shrunk her head when she felt everyone's gaze on her.

" No… That might be a possibility." Luo Yingying spoke. " But, Why would that girl do that?"

Long Ming chuckled. " Alright, Let me give you a little test. Lin Xie, Chen Yin, and Shui Huan go and help those rouge cultivators."

Long Ming's words were filled with mysteries as no one could understand what Long Ming wants. But hearing his words, the trio nodded as they rushed forward.

Everyone became startled when they saw three beautiful girls rushing toward them. Since they wore their uniform, the rouge cultivators thought that the girls might be from a sect.

" Haha! Look, reinforcement arrived. Little Xi'er distress signal worked!"

" Fellow Daoists, Let's join hands and kill them!"

There are over a dozen of bandits, with five Primordial Spirit Unification realm cultivators among them. Although they weren't using any high rade techniques, their movements were experienced and refined through countless battles and murders. Not to mention, the coordination between the team was extremely good. 

" Hehe, It looks like our luck is pretty good today. We even managed to get three beauties in our trap." The bandit leader laughed loudly.

" Hmph, Let's see where you going to escape." Lin Xie pulled out her sword which shone with a blue light.

Her sword turned into a vast expanse of an icy tidal wave, crashing toward the group of bandits. It was like a gigantic sword wave of icy power with dense cold energy.

" Blood Demon Cut!"

A bandit leader rose as it pulled out his saber. A blood colored qi erupted from it as it cut through the icy wave. Lin Xie squinted her eyes when she saw the bandit already master Saber Qi.

" Heh, Lass, It looks like you are from a powerful sect. Hehe, But, did you think you can defeat us?"

" Just having saber qi won't make you invincible." Chen Yin walked forward as she looked at Lin Xie and nodded.

" Autumn Wind Nine Cuts!"

" Cold Moon Arc!"

Lin Xie and Chen Yin's movements were coordinated as they attacked the bandit who used saber qi. The bandit's eyes squinted as he raised his saber which exploded with a blood colored ray.

" Destructive Blood Wave!"

His saber qi rose and turned into a blood colored wave. The blood wave rose to the sky and turned into a saber. The sabe came crashing down and met with the attack of Chen Yin and Lin Xie.

Meanwhile, Shui Huan's saber burst with raging flame as she was like a hunter among her prey. Her movements were explosive and precise. Her saber arts improved as she already killed four bandits of the Peak stage True Core Formation realm.

" Damn it! Those three are much more powerful than the rouge cultivators!"

" Boss! Shall we start?"

" Yes! Start the formation!"

Here, Luo Yingying and other disciple's expressions changed when they saw four pillars of light in the for direction so their battlefield. 

" Damn it! It's a formation! Someone activated a formation!" Luo Yingying's Spirit Eyes flickered as she cried out.

Suddenly, a dome of mist covered the entire area as even the fighting sounds ceased from it. Many hidden bandits who were lurking in the surroundings entered the formation and joined the battle.

" Fuckers! They used concealment talismans! Even that bitch is one of them!"

All of them looked at Long Ming who looked at the situation with a calm gaze. They finally understood why Long Ming stopped them at first.

" This is Four Directional Mist Illusion Formation. It is used to trap powerful enemies and dull their senses and movements, giving the weaker cultivator a good chance." 

" Senior Brother, We must act right now! I am afraid…"

Long Ming only waved his hands. " Wait for now. They need to learn a little lesson. There is no way I will leave them to die."

Lin Xie used her sword as it created a blue barrier, blocking the attack. But she could feel that her senses were getting overwhelmed and her thought process was getting slow.

" Damn it! It was a trap all along!"

Chen Yin fought with two Primordial Spirit Realm bandits as she cursed. " No wonder Senior Brother blocked us at first!" 

But the situation was too dire since she couldn't contact Lin Xie and Shui Huan.

" Sister Lin! Sister Chen, are you alright?"

Chen Yin looked at her communication bracelet with shock. " Shui Huan,  Lin Xie, can you hear me!"

" Yes! I am alright!"

" I am alright too!"

" I guess the bracelet is working even inside the formation!"

" But we can't see any direction. What should we do?"

Shui Huan's flames exploded as she pushed back the bandits. But she shouted. " Just choose the easiest way!"

" What is it?"

" SENIOR BROTHER! HELP US!"

Long Ming laughed as his Heavenly Revelation Eyes flashed. WIth his powerful eyes, the formation was no issue as he could clearly see the battle inside like daylight.

" Alright, Playtime is over."

Long Ming pulled out his Illusory Lightning Bow and knocked an arrow. Luo Yingying and others became surprised when they saw Long Ming using a bow instead of a sword.

The bow gave off a dreamy vibe, but they could feel a sharp aura on the arrow like it could pierce through anything. A sharp and powerful energy converged into the arrow as the Illusiory Lightning bow crackled with faint arcs of lightning.

*SWOOSHHH*

The arrow disappeared the moment Long Ming released it. Long Ming's hands moved rapidly as he shot out three arrows in a blink of an eye.

*BOOM BOOM BOOM*

The arrows exploded as they created deep crates in the ground. However, the moment they exploded, the mist barrier slowly started to dissipate.

" Yo-You broke formation plates? Wait, How did you even notice them in the first place?" Luo Yingying was startled when she saw the formation got destroyed in an instant.

She cultivated her Spirit Eyes since she was young. It enabled her to understand the rune's inscription and formation more deeply. Unless you grow your vision and senses to a certain degree, you can't create or unlock runes and formations.

' The Four Directional Mist Illusion Formation is very difficult to make. The nodes were so well hidden that even my Spirit Eyes of Perfection stage couldn't notice them. But Senior Brother just destroyed three of the nodes in one go?'

When the mist dissipated, Long Ming's arrows glowed with a fiery red aura as he shot three arrows at once.

Long Ming's arrows pierced throw the bodies of three Primordial Spirit Real bandits. Long Ming didn't intend to kill them, but to render them immobile.

The girls were already angered when they saw their sisters got trapped by bandits. They are even more angry at the acting girl who lured the rouge cultivators and Four Season Valley into the bandit's trap.

The bandits got panicked when they saw their formation suddenly break like that. The Four Seasons Valley disciple attacked the startled bandit with all their might.

" The formation is broken! Kill those bastards!"

" Senior Brother made his moves! We must prove ourselves to him!"

The bandit leader's expression became pale when he saw the formation getting destroyed. " Abandon everything! Retreat!"

" Fall back! Fall bac-"

Suddenly, a crimson ray shot at the escaping bandit's leg, exploding his left like into pieces. The bandit screamed in pain as his body smashed into the ground.

" None of your going to escape." Long Ming drew out another arrow as he shot at another bandit.

" Heh, Let's see how you guys going to escape." 

" Damn it!"

The bandits weren't that powerful. But the formation allowed them to trap many powerful cultivators and kill them with ease. However, without the formation, they couldn't handle all the Four Seasons Valley disciples.

Long Ming didn't interfere much as the remaining thing got done by his junior disciples. The field got covered by the corpses of the bandits. 

" Thank you, Fellow Daoists, for your help." The group of rogue cultivators bowed before Long Ming. Long Ming shook his head. " You already suffered enough. Fellow Daoists, you should leave."

After exchanging pleasantries, the rougue cultivators left.

" Well, You guys fought well. It looks like the training in the Southern Green Mountain wasn't in vain." Long Ming let out a light smile when he looked at the girls.

" Senior Brother, You knew it was a trap all along?" Shui Huan pouted as she asked.

" Well, It was a lesson for you all." Long Ming spoke. " Just because someone is asking help, that doesn't mean you should just rush in without thinking anything."

" Because, if you don't have strength and capability, a drowning man will yank you into the river along with him rather than you pull him out of the water."

Everyone became stunned when they heard Long Ming's words. 

" Thank you, Senior Brother."

" We will remember your teachings forever."

Long Ming looked at their ragged and dirtied clothes as he pondered something. 

" Aizz, You guys killed that girl pretty brutally. Such a beauty died like that." Long Ming clicked his tongue when he looked at the corpse of the girl from the bandit group.

" Hehe, Such lowly bitch. How can she enter in the eyes of someone like Senior Brother?" Chen Yin grinned.

" After all, All sisters are better than her, no?"

Long Ming rubbed his chin. 

" Well, Since we are going to leave for the Liu Family tomorrow, How about we take shelter tonight?" Long Ming chuckled. "The bandits are dead anyway."

" Why don't we take over their hideout?"
