I Hate Systems

"This is…shit!" Arnark watched as a sphere form around them and gradually close up. He tried to escape, but Compass Carburettor prevented it.

"Move…away!" Arnark bellowed in anger as he attacked, sending Compass Carburettor flying by a couple dozen metres, shocked upon seeing the power he unleash dissipate naturally, 'That attack was supposed to send him flying for kilometres at the very least.'

"I…feel weak…" He muttered and collapsed, feeling difficulties in remaining within the void as the symptoms was gradually become stronger.

"Get off me!" Martial shouted in a hurry as he extracted the Waning Essence System out of his body and threw it away, unleashing his powers to fly towards the boundary of the sphere and puncture his way through.

But, as he began to fly towards the border, Martial became slower and slower before soon, he was finding it hard to even maintain steady flight. Moreover, the size of the sphere was increasing by hundreds of kilometres every second, its boundary going farther away with every passing second.

"What's this shit?" The Invader System collapsed upon a mystical platform that began to form underneath its feet, shouting hysterically, "How is its effect so potent?"

"What the hell, Martial? Why did you extract me from your body?" The Waning Essence System screamed in a fluster, fearing that it would begin to vaporise gradually since it was outside a body.

But surprisingly, not only was it fine, but it could also feel itself gaining a solid mass of sorts, gradually becoming more and more like a living creature.

"That was why." Martial said as he looked around in fluster, noticing that he was becoming more and more like a living entity, "I felt that if we stayed like that any longer, whatever is influencing us would fuse our bodies and minds together. I didn't want that, so I threw you out."

"Ehh…" Ying shrieked a little as he quickly ran away from Arnark, stopping behind Compass Carburettor as he looked around.

He then stared at Compass Carburettor, asking, "So, what now?"

"What is going to happen to us?"

"We'll all become mortals in the world that is forming now." Compass Carburettor grinned as he was now powerless, dried of all energy within him. His Psyche Stars were empty husks now. Even his Dreamland vanished.

That was the price for unleashing the ultimate ability one could come to possess within the multiverse.

Genre Representation—Survival Life of a Fragile Mortal!

"And as mortals…" He patted Ying's shoulder before staring at the four figures before him, "We'll be fighting a life and death battle against them."

"It'll be short," He whispered Ying, "But we'll win. I've been preparing to win in such a situation all along."

That was indeed true. For once everyone became mortals, they only had to rely upon their mortal selves to survive and emerge victorious. And Compass Carburettor had, through his Dreamland, accumulated every possible experience that he could realistically experience as a mortal.

So, his advantages trumped his enemies who didn't possess enough experiences regarding mortals. They did possess a significant sum, for their were all special, but in terms of purely mortal experiences, Compass Carburettor was superior.

"Impressive indeed," Arnark muttered suddenly as he glared at Compass Carburettor and stood up slowly, "A Genre Representation. That was your trump card."

He looked around in praise before laying his eyes on Martial, "It's potent enough to even affect Martial, a major Genre Representative. This power is enough to take care of even the strongest of entities. But,"

His lips curled up gradually, "That was in the case you had completed your preparations. Unfortunately for you, in interrupted it. And, that revealed a flaw."

Main Character Core Skill—Lore (Level 99)!

Boom!

A torrent of power burst out of Arnark as suddenly, it swerved into the bodies of the Invader System first, followed by the Waning Essence System, Ying, and eventually, Martial. It then merged into the forming space as all signs of it vanished.

This time, it was Compass Carburettor's turn to glare at Arnark.

In response, Arnark's tone turned cold, "Don't fucking act like this was beyond your expectations. Lore was originally your power, so you would have predicted that I would use it here."

"What have you done?" Martial bellowed in despair upon seeing that his body lacked strength anymore, now no different to a mortal human.

The expressions of others too were the same, all glaring at Arnark to wonder why he had done something this stupid.

"You guys are forgetting something," Arnark said and pointed a finger at Compass Carburettor, "His Genre Representation would turn us all into mortals, without a speck of supernatural power. We would have to fight him in that state where a cut to our nerves would signal our death, permanently."

"No revival. And!" He glared at Compass Carburettor, "This fucker has been beefing up his experience to live and win as a mortal. In the present case, even if all of us were to gang up on him, we'll lose, guaranteed."

"That makes sense." The Invader System was the first to understand his line of thought, calming down as it had also been preparing to fight Compass Carburettor. It stared at Arnark and asked, "So, what's your plan?"

"I sacrificed my Lore to make one change to his world." Arnark said, wiping his sweat as he began to step back, increasing the distance between him and Compass Carburettor, "I used Lore to accelerate the effect of this world on us. But, through it, instead of turning us mortals forcefully, I caused my Lore to absorb the entirety of our foundation. And that,"

He pointed upwards, "formed the variable necessary to introduce a supernatural concept in this world. Even I don't know how the changes would occur, for it all depends on how Lore interacts with Tell-Tale while combusting he foundations of us all present."

Compass Carburettor, Secondary System, Invader System, Waning Essence System, The Hunter System fragment within Ying, Arnark, and Martial; the foundations of everyone was now being used to affect the world to introduce a concept of supernatural element within the majorly mortal world.

Immediately, the world expanded to become massive; space stabilised, stars appeared, the sun and a set of moons formed, followed by mountains, rivers, oceans, plant life, insects, animals, birds, fishes, etc.

A functioning world was created as the group of six people stared from the skies like deities while their bodies began to disintegrate slowly. When they wake up, they would be fully integrated within that world.

"And," Arnark stated in all seriousness while gazing at Compass Carburettor, noticing how Ying's body was instantly devoured by the Secondary System that only now surfaced, surprising him, "In order to ensure those two don't gain any advantages, I used the last of my authority on Lore to ensure all six of us has an equal start."

Arnark stared at Martial, Invader, and Waning Essence, nodding at each other to understand that they were allies with the same goal, "So, the moment we wake up, we'll have to race to develop ourselves. And once we have enough foundation, we'll destroy those two."

"Even Adventure?" Waning Essence asked in shock, noticing Arnark nod in response as it stared at Secondary's true appearance to ask, "What is your name?"

A System's name was its Core Skill, its identity. And until now, the Secondary System hadn't revealed it. Only Zaira was privy about it.

"Does it matter?" Secondary stared at the four enemies, "My sole goal is survival. But since you have expressed your stance on my life clearly, many times at that, know this."

It took on a human form resembling the old Compass Carburettor—when he was the Money-Making System's Host. Its change shocked all five individuals as its eyes revealed insanity to a chaotic degree, "The next time we see each other, I'll murder you."

"Let's leave, Compass." Saying so, Secondary took the lead and closed its eyes, allowing itself to be fully disintegrated by the space and assimilated into the world first.

"You took words right out of my mouth." Compass Carburettor snorted as he didn't even spare a glance at the enemies and was fully assimilated into the world. It was apparent that he was going to show through action that the deaths of the entities that killed her daughter one wouldn't be the least pretty.

"Let's see who laughs in the end." Arnark spat out and vanished. The remaining three followed suit as the mysterious world began to operate.

All the laws took effect as name of the world changed from 'Survival Life of a Fragile Mortal' to…
